[Over the bands today, there's...well, a little bit of noise. Like someone's desperately trying to figure out how to work something and kind of failing at it.

After a few moments, the video blips on - to reveal a large brown eye, the pupil slit vertically.]

C'mon, is this thing working now...?

[There's a hint of frustration in his voice as he speaks, but soon enough the owner of the eye seems to realize that he's actually working it properly. With a light 'oh', the point of view zooms out from the eye, showing that a scowling teenager was in possession of it all along.

The first thing someone would notice is the hair - bright orange and shaggy, with a high ponytail that trails from behind him to over a shoulder. It doesn't seem too strange...except that every now and then, the ponytail hair seems to move as one mass...and right when the camera jiggles, too. Weird.

It's also possible to see that the clothes he's wearing would look slightly familiar to anyone who's used to how the members of the Kurain school dress.]

Alright, listen. I just got here, so...I've got some questions.

One: What's with all the decorations? Is the city normally like this, or is something going on?

Two: The guy who I met before mentioned that I'd have to find someplace to stay, but...How do I do that? I mean...I can just go back to the forest. It's not a big deal.

Three: Are there any other pokemon that suddenly became human like me? ...I'm gonna need pointers on how this 'human' thing works.

[There's a pause after he says that, shifting his gaze away from the band. ...He doesn't turn his head (in fact, he's been remarkably stiff the entire time, not moving his head one inch), but he looks away all the same. After a moment, he breaks the silence - although in a much softer, less matter-of-fact tone than what he used before.]

...And, uh...Is it normal to remember that you died once? I...

[He trails off, then closes his eyes - a complicated expression flitting across his face.]

...Never mind. Forget it.

[And off goes the feed.]

2.

[People in the city might find that odd looking teen from before wandering around, without any rhyme or reason. His movement is incredibly stiff - his knees don't bend once as he walks around, and his arms stay locked in place where they're hidden by the folds of his clothing.

He's wearing a male Kimono, the undershirt and Hakama a dark brown-with a peculiar kind of haori on top. Two circles on the shoulders, the inside of them cut so that the undershirt shows. On the back of the haori, another circle lies between his shoulder blades, right in the center of his back. There's an intricate, cream colored design on it, looping around and coming up to the collar of the undershirt. All in all, it resembles something rather familiar...

There's also his hair - which, if someone noticed...they'd see that his warp band is tied around his ponytail, near the end of it. You'd think it'd slide off, but it seems to stay on without any problems. Is it because the hair moves all at once, instead of individual strands like normal hair?

At any rate, Ichigo is firmly checking around the city - getting to know his new surroundings, like he had when he'd woken up in the forest a little over two weeks ago. Things are...different from the outside, and he roams around nearly everywhere, not staying very long in one place.

It's possible you might run into him, but...well, actually running into him would be slightly unpleasant. It's like running into a wall. Then again...he's really not paying attention to where he's going.

At all.]

[The other end of the warp-band happens to be a kid that can't be older than ten or eleven. He looks at the the band critically, with an eyebrow raised, frowns and then clears his throat.]

So ...Soulfasting is coming up. It's a really fun holiday and It's nice when people are actually respectful of the dead. See ... the spirit world really isn't as far as people think and really all anyone wants is to be honored and remembered.

The holiday is about bringing both worlds together.

[He pauses, cause he was going somewhere with that. He frowns a little deeper. Its a disgruntled expression someone his age shouldn't make.]

So, if anyone goes around this year dressed up like ghosts claiming to be other people's dead aunts or whatever: Don't bother. We'll know.

Also it makes you a jerk.

Anyway, my name is Norman. I'm from the Kurain School of Channelling and we'll be around for the Holiday a lot so ... if you need any channelling or have questions about the spirit world, come by and see us.

[He pauses like he's trying to make sure he's not forgetting anything. After a moment he nods and just shuts the feed off.]

[Nozomi comes on over the feed, wearing an interesting hat, her hair tied in a braid to the side instead of her usual pigtails.]

Hi everyone! I know Soulfasting is still a month away, but I wanted to let everyone know that we're selling decorations and masks at my shop, Etteilla. If you want a special order, you'll need to make it pretty soon, otherwise we won't have time to make them.

Also, in honor of the holiday, I'll be doing tarot card readings for ten percent off, or fifteen if you buy anything from the store. We're open throughout the day. Come see us!

[Action; Open to all]

[Etteilla, nestled in the middle of Ninetails Vale on a busy street corner, is particularly busy today. One of the big places to go for Soulfasting supplies, Nozomi, along with Mithra the Nidoking and Coeus the Reuniclus, are busy at work. While the first two are selling their normal wares along with decorations, Coeus seems to be working on something else, an easel set near the cashier's desk. There are paintings near him, all with price tags. They range from people, to other pokemon, to landscapes, and while they are certainly amateur works, they're not bad. He seems very proud of them, at least.]

[Action; Locked to Eri]

[It was late, and Nozomi was restless. Something had been on her mind lately. After sharing a vision with Rei Hino, she found she couldn't stop thinking about it.

Seeing herself perform on stage, standing with others, it seemed more than a bit out of character for her. But despite this, she got the feeling that she was enjoying herself. There was a warmth that she hadn't felt before, something that was hard to place.

What was the purpose of that vision? Who were the others standing with her, dancing with her? She felt that most of them were familiar to her, if not close.

Her cards were being difficult. They always were when she was on the brink of a breakthrough. Leaning over the array of cards, her mug of coffee steaming not too far away, Nozomi sighed heavily. She should go to bed, but this was going to bother her in her dreams if she didn't get it figured out.]

[Voice; to Maya]

[Sometime between 2 and 3 in the morning, a voice transmission comes in over her warp band. Nozomi sounds surprisingly quiet, her voice a little less confident than usual.]

Mayocchi? Are you around?

[video - Monday (can be replied to all through the week)]

Hey everyone! Maya Fey here, master of the Kurain Channelling School.

[She flashes the camera a grin. Shinrei and Shiyon are behind her. Shinrei, who evolved last week, seems to be a very happy haunter. Shi, however, seems stoic as usual.]

So, it looks like what's been working really well recently has been, um, me just doing video calls and letting you consult me!

If you're unfamiliar, the Kurain Channelling School is a school located at the Fey Manor in Ninetails Vale, the Northwestern District. We're mostly a school for Kurain family members to learn channelling, which means that we can perform ghost-channelling sessions for you if you request it.

Um, but most of you guys would rather have help with your ghosts, right? Well, we offer training sessions with ghost and psychic types for all types, aaand we also can help train your ghosts or psychic types, or come see you if you are having a ghost-related problem.

We're pretty flexible too, so just ask.

Just so you know, we're open Mondays through Thursdays and are mostly available early morning or evening. We tend to sleep through the mid-day. [A ghastly little chuckle, and her two ghosts giggle with her.]

Thanks in advance! I'll see you guys around.

[She ends the transmission.]

[ACTION; COASTAL RUINS for Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko]

[It had been an investigation just to go and figure out these suspicious ghosts they'd heard of-- Yamask. Now, Kuzuryuu and Maya had found themselves bonded with two of their own. Since Kuzuryuu is a lower level, Maya had to accompany him. But she also wanted to. She very much wanted to. Ghosts.

They can't be that difficult to deal with, can they?

Now as they finish their explorations, Maya isn't so sure. There's something off about hers (not that she didn't expect there to be, given a yamask's nature, but she hasn't voiced her suspicions.

With Shinrei, Chikao, and Bozu walking with her and with Peri and Shi attuned to her warp band, she figures there's very little to worry about. Her still-unnamed yamask saunters beside her, quiet and strange, but does little do disturb conversation between the rest.]

Sooo, that was fun.

[Crossing her arms behind her back, Maya leans forward to look Kuzu in the face as they walk side-by-side.]

And you got some training in. Pretty good deal, huh?

Action:

[Honoka has made her way into various parts of the city, exploring it with her two pokémon. She's handing out the fruit off of Tropius's neck to anyone willing to take one. She also looks a little lost, and exhausted as she's just gotten into town not too long ago. She's been eating, but not what she wants to eat- and if you've got something tasty looking that isn't fruit, she's creepily staring at you, longing to have some herself. One little bite of that would be so great.

So much that she'll walk up to you and ask you where you got it after a time.]

Video:

[Now, after she's gotten a little bit to eat and sat down for a bit to rest from traveling, she turns the Warp Band on. The scene around her is of the sun starting to set, sitting on a park bench. Tropius is laying down next to the bench. Happiny sits in her lap, looking cheerful as ever, but tired.]

Hi! My name is Honoka, and I know none of you may know me yet but I have a favor to ask. I just got here from Caldera, and I don't have a place to stay yet... and I don't want to live out on the street! I would just need a few days, I promise I'll have something set up by then!

Thank you very much!

[ACTION; AFTER SPEAKING WITH MAYA AND JINXIE]

[Wandering around Union is a strange, masked young woman. It's pretty easy to tell that it is one Nico Yazawa in disguise, at least for those who actually know who she is does anyone know who this pipsqueak is really?. What is odd, however, is that she is being followed by a very concerned-looking Nidoking. What is more interesting is that, for anyone near Ninetails Vale, they'll notice her exiting a certain shop while surreptitiously looking around and generally moving like she doesn't want to be noticed.

A woman on a mission, that obviously means that she should be stopped by anyone and everyone, right?]

[ Hotaru's ditched any and all babysitters, watchers, Divine Defense Force members, etc. to head out into the city. Anybody out and about in the city might find her, actually going around in her human form, along with a way-too-high-level-to-be-unevolved Litwick, a baby Eevee, and a Solosis.

Where is she going? What is she doing? Well, she seems to be hitting up book stores and libraries. Not looking up anything actually useful, but instead.... cookbooks? Yeah, she's browsing through every cookbook she can get her hands on, and might even be purchasing one or two of them at each stop. By the afternoon, she'll have a small stack that she's carrying around with her on her search for more. Never let it be said she isn't dedicated.

And then, by mid-afternoon, she's stopped by the Pokémon habitat to lay out on the grass with her new cookbook collection... ]

[ Video / Filtered away from Michiru, Haruka, & Setsuna ]

[ Hotaru turns on the video feed after she's had the chance to skim over the books. She looks a little hesitant, but-]

Hello. Um, I'm not sure how to ask this, but... does anybody know where there's a kitchen I might be able to use? I want to surprise my guardians by cooking for them, but I've never cooked before.... I'd like to be able to practice without them finding out. [ So the kitchen where she lives is out of the question.

It isn't long like a few seconds before she regrets making this post. ]
....Sorry. There's probably not anywhere like that, is there? [ And it's not like she has anybody close enough to ask to borrow their kitchen. Maybe she'll just ask at the cafe...

The entire time this is going on, though, in the background her Litwick seems to be laughing evilly while looming over the Solosis, using it like a crystal ball. Why do you do this, Litwick? This is why everybody thinks you're evil... ]

[Nozomi comes onto the feed. Miss Always-Has-Everything-Together looks (and sounds) a little off.]

I have a little problem, maybe somebody here can help.

Business has been pretty slow. I'm not asking for help there, but if you want to that's fine. But I'm worried about my friends. It takes a lot to take care of them and I'm a little worried I won't be able to by myself if things are gonna stay slow like this. Space is a problem too; technically it's a split level flat, but I can't afford both floors with business being so slow. It's been vacant for so long, too... I could move back in with my family, but we all like having our own space. It's cozy, but it's nice. And I feel guilty sending anyone off to the habitat.

Paying rent for the shop isn't a problem. I don't mind moving back in with Mayocchi, but only as a last resort, especially since that'd take away space for her school. I've tried to ask my cards, but they've been really indecisive. They won't tell me a thing.

[She can't believe she's asking this, but--]

I need some advice.

[ACTION]

[Nozomi is usually her vibrant self around the shop and the Kurain school, but for whatever reason, she's been looking a bit off. Pushing herself hard to get customers, as well as trying to figure out an answer to the not-enough-space but-wants-autonomy situation has done little to relieve her stress, and she has been taking to training by the mountains for the last week when not working, under one of the waterfalls. Her cousin suggested it to her, and it had given her a startling amount of clarity, but summer was quickly fading, and with it the warm weather.

Pinching her nose to hide a sneeze, she carries through her usual work with as little sniffling as she can manage, looking a little more flush than usual.]

Hina! Is it working, you think?

Fletch!

[Finally the voice comes into view- and it's a strangely clad enlightened. If the horns and scales didn't make him stand out, then the weird non-matching patterns, beads, scarves, and colors sure would. There's a fluttering of wings and the Fletchling that was in view earlier is now perching on his shoulder.]

I don't recall the warp bands having this function before I left Union the last time, so I hope this is working. Ah- hello! My name is Eiji and it's been some time since I was last in Union. Would anyone mind telling me what I've missed?

I believe it's been ...about eight months. Also, I'm looking for some part-time work. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful. Thank you!

[Action]

[Eiji can be found just about anywhere. He tends to like quiet places, but he can also be found wandering densely populated areas for the sake of looking around and finding out what's changed in the last few months. The one place he probably tries to avoid is the more upper class areas. He's more likely to be recognized there, after all.]

[No Nozomi today. The video comes on to a very face. Coeus is no longer a floating bubble butt baby, but look! He has nubs for arms! He wags them to illustrate. He is one step closer to being able to help out more in the shop! Maybe soon he'll be able to put things away, you know, with hands and arms! How cool would that be?

He's even convinced his human to teach him how to write! So cool!]

Coeus, what are you doing?

[Nozomi's voice chimes in from off-screen. Whoops! He's not supposed to be using this, eep! Feed off!]

[ACTION]

[With the recent goings on between the raiders of Citadel, and the appearance of a God, Nozomi is feeling just a bit inadequate. It made since that Eri would show both her and Maki up in a fight--she was a trained fighter, after all--but it bothered her that she could not defend herself, let alone the other person with them.

So, during the week after the attack, Etteilla will be closed. Nozomi and any number of her pokemon can be found outside of Union, training. It seems that Nozomi has picked up a staff and is attempting to learn how to use it, to varying success.

When not trying to beat whatever it is she's trying to fight to a pulp, she can be seen sitting and meditating.]

[The feed turns on to everyone's favorite fortune teller, accompanied by a cute little Pancham sitting in her lap. Something seems different too. The way that she's dressed; Nozomi has ditched her usual loose-fitting robes that she wears in the shop for something more fitting for the hot weather. It's a bit scandalous compared to the usual fashion in Union.]

They weren't kidding when they said it was hot out here!

[But the clothes were cute and airy, so it didn't bother her much. This place could use a beach.]

It's much different out here too. All the pokemon are really cute, and the people are interesting. This has been a nice vacation. I feel like my spiritual power got a boost from the trip, not to mention a bit of shopping done. Maya, Jinxie, I got you something special~

The fashion here is really cute, and keeps you cool. If anyone wants me to pick something up while I'm here, let me know!

[ACTION]

[Exploring! Caldera was nothing like Union as far as Nozomi was concerned and, with Mithra and the new kid Sarutahiko the Pancham, Nozomi can be found wandering around the city, poking her head into various places.

If they're playing today, she'll even go to check out a game of Earthkin Clash, although she'll find quickly that she doesn't actually like it that much.]

[With the theater season officially open, the Divine Theater has little else do with the summer but prepare for next season's jam-packed schedule. However, preparation doesn't really bring in money, so, as they do every summer, the Divine Theater has opened its doors to summer classes! There is even word that those students who excel might even be considered for staff next season!

The first class is free in the hopes that they will bring in new students, in the hopes that people will sign up for more. The offerings are rather diverse.

Acting classes, both beginning and advanced; music lessons for singers and instrumentalists; conducting classes; beginning and advanced sewing and costume design; makeup; theater tech and lighting; beginning and advanced dance classes; stage fighting and choreography, just to name a few. There's a little bit of something for everyone here. The front desk ladies have even taken it upon themselves to start their very own beginner accounting class. It's cute, you should check it out

For those working around the theater, it was a busy time--maybe even more than when they were putting on productions. Cleaning to do, classes to help out with, and, of course, making sure any students don't go down secret hallways labeled "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" that totally aren't hiding their super secret base of operations nope nothing here to see folks.

Are you teaching? Attending? Helping out? Maybe just curious?]

Voice

[Eri's tone is sharp and businesslike as the feed opens]

Greetings, everybody. I have not been in Union for very long, but I have been told that the city holds an organization quite similar to the Steel Battalion of my homeland. As I am... liable to be living here for awhile, I think this might be the best fit for me, I was already in training to join the Steel Battalion back home. Does anybody have information on the Swords of the Savior? Can they confirm or deny the similarities?

Action

[Eri can be found in an open training hall. It's been a bit since she has trained and if she is to join the Swords of the Savior she had best make a good impression. Today, she is armed with a slim rapier, and is going through some basic forms. What is of note, however, is she doesn't move in a very conventional manner. The forms themselves would be on their own somewhat recognizable even to a Union swordsman, but her movements are fluid and graceful, almost more of a dance than an attack]

[A young woman comes into view, the lighting a bit dim. Were those candles? Regardless, she seems to be dressed a bit oddly, the flickering light doing even more to make her seem mysterious. Even still, she smiles.]

Hello~ With things winding down from the difficult situation in Caldera, it looks like we've grown quite a bit! I don't know how many Calderans have warp bands, but if you do, welcome! I hope that everyone is settling in all right.

My name is Nozomi Toujou, and I work with my family at Etteilla, a shop in Ninetails Vale. You may not have heard of it. Our specialty is in fortune telling and charms, and because of the sudden influx of visitors, as well as the Kurain School of Channelling opening the public, we're running a short special! Anyone who brings a friend to Etteilla will get 10% off for themselves and anyone with them; and 25% if you enroll with our school~

[It's such a great deal, and after a few shameless plugs for her cousin's school, she draws a strange-looking card, holding it close to her face. The Wheel of Fortune.]

My cards say you should take a chance, and they're never wrong!

[ACTION]

[All around Union, Nozomi, Mithra the male Nidoran and Lakshmi the Purrloin are out and about! She is doing what she can to talk up the Channelling school, as well as taking the time to do a fair bit of work getting new customers for her shop. Business hadn't been slow per se, but with the population burst that came from all the new refugees filtering into the city, she would be stupid not to take advantage of that.

In the business district, she is focusing purely upon passing out literature to varying degrees of success. For some odd reason, people didn't take as much stock in psychics and channellers and the like, which always seemed odd to her.

She can also be seen around the market, although she appears to be more focused upon getting groceries than meeting with people. She gets the usual--produce and other foodstuffs, treats for Mithra and Lakshmi--although she stops at a meat vendor and watches for a bit. Is that a small look of longing? It was so expensive, but...

Finally, once her errands are done, she can be seen at the park, letting her two pokemon get all their pent up energy out by running and chasing each other. She, however, seems content with people watching. She doesn't appear to be looking for anything or anyone in particular, but has a bit of a smirk on her face, as if there's some joke there that only she gets.]
