[Just like before, the Band turns itself on but not by the human owner. Instead, both Izanagi the Eevee and Amaterasu the Purrloin are looking into the camera and they look a little concerned. Yeah when the lazy cat critter looks worried, that means trouble.]

Vee! Vee vee! ["Hey, I got a question for you humans and other pokemon: how do you turn off a human who's screaming?"]

[Screaming? Well, there is muffled noises and Amaterasu rolls her eyes. Honestly furball they need to see what they're trying to ask first. And so she grabs the Band from the Eevee and skitters over close to the noise from the background: three humans were there and the two males seem to be having a heated moment. One is Yu while the other is unknown to most, by how he looks pretty close to the younger man it has to be Yu's father.]

( This won't go well. )

(OOC: Responses will come within a few hours just so Yu can try and figure things out.)

With the revelation of the presence of the Enhanced, Union was able to quickly mobilize. As the strange conditions continued to worsen, the Trainers of Union once again set out to bring order to the chaos.

This time however, they do not walk entirely alone. A small, dedicated team remains behind in Union, sorting through the dossiers and information that Crystal and Rory have collected. Connected to those in the field via Warp Band network, hopefully they can identify the Enhanced and find a way to calm them before a tragedy occurs.

[OOC: There will be a thread for each active team based on the sign-ups. Any areas that did not have any sign-ups will not be present and will be addressed later. As per our usual standards, moderators and NPC helpers will progress the log at least once every 24 hours. The Union log will work somewhat differently from the battle logs in that the participants will be collecting information concerning the Enhanced; when enough information has been accumulated, they will be asked to tag into the battle threads to provide guidance and support to those out in the field.

Characters participating in the Union log will function as support staff for this event. They will have their own log interacting with Rory and Crystal and as characters in other logs encounter the Enhanced, they can use the observations made to try to find out more about the Enhanced in the field and help the people in the field determine an appropriate situation. Because of this, players in the Union thread may threadjack any ongoing log to relay information as needed.

The outcome of this event will depend very much on player decisions and the ability of the characters to respond to the threats at hand, so we would highly encourage you all to tag as regularly as possible. Thanks!]

[The band turns on and the first thing the city sees…are two Pokemon staring back. Actually it’s an Espeon and Eevee with sunglasses. Guess who’s friends with that special furball? There is some discussion going between the two but unless someone watching could understand Pokemon, it was going to be useless. It’s Izanagi the Eevee that turns it to face Yu sitting on the couch with Amaterasu the Purrloin in his lap as he was reading some information on a group he was looking to join. The pokemon looked up and yowled at him, who just smiled and gave her a scratch behind her ear.]

I’m looking to see which group I should join. I’ve heard good things about the Seekers here…

[Amaterasu didn’t care as long as she was given attention but she perked her ears up when more pokemon showed up around Yu’s feet. Those weren’t his obviously since he was staying with Rise so that meant her pokemon needed to speak to him. The joys of being a Kindred Soul. The purrloin snorted as one spoke up, asking a question.]

Of course he can understand us. Not like some of those odd balls that seemed to have their ears blocked.

Be nice Amaterasu. [Then facing Rise’s pack of mons.] What’s wrong?

[First came the concern of Toyo the Blissey.]

Do you think you could write Rise a schedule for feeding, or something?

[Wait what? Yu is rather stunned by this. RISE HAVE YOU BEEN NEGLECTING YOUR POKEMON?]

Wait, have you guys not been eating?

[Next came Himiko the Gardevoir with her concerns.]

Remind her to take out the trash. It's a lot of work trying to levitate it.

[…oh boy, this was going to go well. Next came Inari the Vulpix. Hey, wasn’t this the one who would burn him if he decided to go into Rise’s room? Why would he even try if the most he would do was knock on her door to make sure she was up?]

I don't mean to be rude, but her feet are really cold at night.

So you would prefer if she wore socks then. It’s understandable.

[And during all of this? Yu took all the concerns in stride because pokemon have feelings too. He just needed to tell Rise about it when she got back…speaking of that...]

Has any of you seen my Band? I seemed to have misplaced it.

[That causes the two left in the area to give expressions of ‘OH SHIT’ before the Band shuts off.]

[Unlike most of Squid Girl's videos, this one has a far more serious bent to it. This is perhaps immediately obvious when the feed clicks on to show her with ripped up clothing, missing half of a few tentacles, and bleeding from a few places. She's clearly on the beach near the south of Union as she stumbles along, and anyone who looks closely will notice that her wounds appear to be from a few well-placed shark bites. Anyone who looks really closely will be able to see a Sharpedo fin moving ominously back and forth in the water in the background.]

U-um... what do you do when one of your Pokemon tries to eat you?

What: Someone's sleeping in the park.

Where: One of Union's parks
Summary: Yu came to Union to find himself. What he forgot to find was a place to stay. Cue camping out like a bum!

my_father_is_a_tycoon

Who: Lenna Charlotte Tycoon, the Kagamine twins, and open invite for all
What: A Soulfast-themed charity concert and dance
When: Sunday night
Where: The Tycoon family estate
Summary: Lenna is hosting a charity event to benefit Union's poor and homeless population, along with refugees from war-torn communities outside Union's walls and people who are moving into the city but need some help while they get on their feet. The entire city is invited, and donations are not required but are strongly encouraged in the form of Lenna smiling and making big moe eyes at everyone as they enter until they do.

[It's the beginning of the Soulfasting holiday, and despite the complications with Cresselia and Darkrai, Lenna has miraculously managed to pull together the final preparations for her charity event at the last minute. The party itself is being held at the Tycoon mansion in the noble quarter, and the doors have been opened for any and all who wish to come and make merry.

The spacious foyer of the house has been set up with numerous tables with food and drink for the various attendees, plenty of room for dancing and mingling, and of course a large stage at the front of the room set up for Rin and Len Kagamine - Lenna's roommates and the headline performing act of the night. There are donation boxes situated around the room, and Lenna will also be accepting larger donations personally so that she can secure them elsewhere in the house.

And because of the time of year, there is also a table set up with plenty of Pokemon-themed masks for people to wear, with a fancy sign hand written in calligraphy: 'Courtesy of the Tatsumi Gallery.' Lenna herself is wearing a short red party dress with matching heels, greeting everyone as they enter and more or less just buzzing about making sure everyone is having a good time.]
