The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

Well I don't like it. It's hard to breathe.

[Mieu looks around at the tug, blinking as he looks at the Ducklett. He'd been trying to pay attention to Luke and Robin's conversation but this was way more interesting.]

Fla...reon?

The area is pretty thick. We can move to a place where it's easier to breathe while your Slakoth baths if you think he'll be okay.

[ The Ducklett motions Mieu to follow it a bit more as it begins to waddle off. Come on come on they don't have all day! ]

[Luke just nods, leaving Slug in the bath and following Robin. Mieu follows the Ducklett eagerly, naive and excited by this new friend. Of course, Luke doesn't notice his Pokemon disappear...]

[ Yes good come follow Ducklett. It'll lead you away from the Hot Springs and into a clearly that may or may not have one of those very deep holes dug under some leaves that it casually flies over.

Robin doesn't notice either. Not until they're away from the Hot Springs and notice that they're missing a member. ]

Hey. Where's your Flareon?

[Mieu falls right into the trap, as gullible as ever. He makes sad noises and tries to dig out of it.]

Huh? I dunno... Mieu! Hey, stupid Thing, get over here!

[Puzzles when the Flareon doesn't come right away, Luke starts looking around.]

[ Robin frowns ]

It might help if you don't call him names.

[ But hey this is kind of worrying so he'll help with the search.

Meanwhile the Ducklett laughs that wonderful Ducklett laughter as he watches Mieu try to dig out of it. ]

He doesn't mind that, I call him Thing all the time. It's like a nickname.

[He rolllls his eyes, but continues looking. Flareon whimpers a little and starts to dig his way out of the hole. Luckily for him, Robin and Luke are getting closer to Ducklett's little trap.....]

Okay, but what about the 'stupid' part. Is that part of it too?

[ Oh no Ducklett isn't going to allow that! So it's going to use Water Gun on you Mieu. ]

It's not like it hurts him or anything, it's just words.

[Mieu whines and shakes off the attack, now in... a very muddy hole. The Fire Type is having a very bad day.]

{Lemme out, please?}

So if someone called you stupid you wouldn't care?

[ The Ducklett just laughs a bit. ]

{ But this is so much fun! }

{No please lemme out! I have to get back to master!}

[Luke just rolls his eyes, giving Robin a whatever and continues on... before spotting the Ducklett a little ways off and squinting.]

What's that thing doing? I thought birds liked water, not holes in the ground.

{ But what's the fun in that? It's your fault for falling into the hole in the first place! }

[ Robin frowns himself but turns to see what Luke was noticing and frowns. ]

Looks like it's laughing at something. We should check it out.

It's probably its reflection or something, Pokemon are so dumb...

[But as they walk over, the ground seems to shift a little under their feet. Are the Hot Springs supposed to be so unstable?]

[ Robin feels the shift and frowns before looking at the Ducklett the the hole again. He seems awfully interested in that hole and with the ground shifting like that... ]

... I think there might be something in that hole. And it's not water.
