Wild Pokémon Catch-All

The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

[It's been a while since Flemming has gone exploring. It seems that he's often so busy working, especially after the return from Caldera, that he doesn't have time very often to go wandering around with his small group of Pokemon.

At least Edwin is still willing to go places despite the fact that he hasn't been very exciting lately. What a shame, that.

I's why he's found himself returning to the caves that he was in months ago.]

[ Not long after Flemming enters the caves, he just might catch sight of a Plusle nearby. The Pokemon is too busy entertaining itself by placing rocks on top of another to notice the trainer however. ]

[...Isn't that a cute little thing.

The man needs a moment to catch his breath anyway, so he leans up against the wall of the cave, watching the Pokemon curiously. Edwin next to him nudges him just to make sure he's noticed the Plusle.]

Having fun?

[Compared to how he normally speaks to people, his voice is bright and cheerful. He might still be socially incompetent, even with Pokemon, but he seems to make more of an effort for them than humans at any rate.]

[ The Pokemon jumps at the sound of the voice causing him to drop a rock that he was about to place atop on another. The Pokemon turns to the trainer before blinking curiously and giving him a short wave. ]

Plu! ( Lots of fun! ) [ Quickly it's eyes turn to the other Pokemon with him. There's another playful tilt of the head before it speaks again. ]

Plus Plusle!! ( Do you wanna join? )

[He might not actually be able to understand Pokemon entirely, but he gets the gist of it fairly well. Especially because the Aron nudges him again hard and a brief conversation through the warp band confirms what Flemming had already thought.

It's a bit like when his daughter was younger.]

Sure.

[He moves, feeling more cheerful than he has in a few months.]

What are you doing? Trying to build something or are you just playing?

[ The Pokemon's cheeks spark cheerfully with he agrees and claps it's hands together. It scurries over to the newcomers and gingerly greets them. ]

Plu Plusle Plus! ( I'm building a barrier! ) [ The Pokemon points at the piles of rock, which seem to be curving into a large circle. ]

[Once again, he gets Edwin to translate.]

A barrier?

[That makes him curious. So maybe it's something defensive? But then again it might be because of what happened in the cave some months ago.

Or it could be something unrelated entirely... it's better not to assume anything, really.]

What sort of barrier?

[ The Plusle scurries about to hand Flemming a rock while he speaks. ]

Plusle Plusle! [ all my friends have found new ones so I need more protection! ]

[Hopefully it's not a sign that something is going to happen and is only a Pokemon being worried about its home.]

You know, I live in a big house. You could stay with me, if you'd like.

[It's not like he's met many Pokemon. He really should, honestly, because he's lousy enough at people.]

I have a daughter, her name is Constance. She'd love to help you build a safe barrier in the house.

[He's still holding the rock, though, so he'd probably be willing to help out in the cave.]

[ The Plusle stops building and gives the man a curious look. A big, safe house? That sounded very, very nice. Was he serious about allowing it to come with him. The Pokemon runs over to his ankles and glances up. Did they want to stay together? ]

[He offers the hand that the warp band is wrapped around.]

It's safe, don't worry. And if you ever get bored of being cooped up inside, you can come exploring with me.

[After the fiasco and siege of Caldera, someone wasn't feeling very confident with herself. Out of fear of abandoning her brother at home, Itsuki had missed the majority of the action, not fulfilling her duties as a Precure. And that was what was bothering her the most about that issue.

Which only means more training for her. She's always trained at her family's school under the guise of Itsuki, but her powers as an Enlightened were being severely under used. So after she's completely alone in the Ruins with only her Pokémon, Frost the Glaceon and Potpourri the Togepi, she transforms into her pigtailed, other self. She created a small ball of golden light in her hands, lightening up the dark space of the ruins. It might not be a welcome thing to the wild Pokémon inhabiting the area, but she and her Pokémon both need it as they delve further into the ruins.]

[The depths of the ruins remain murky and less than welcoming even with her abilities. Strange shadows flit at the edge of the the light, the muffled flaps of wings sounding overhead.]

[ Melaka's been exploring the Deep Mines for a long while now. She couldn't help it - her first exploration has fascinated her and since then she's also met a number of other pokemon who are now her bond mates here. It's not exactly the best ranger spot (not out in the open) but something about the "society" here (if there can be said to be society among pokémon) attracts her to it. Which is why she is, once more, exploring. She's attempted to make a map, but seems to fail every time. Still, she can now recognize enough landmarks here to not get lost. Even if se's down a path now she's pretty sure she's never been down ]

[ And while Melaka is down below in the Deep Mines something whizzes past her and--

crashes into a big rock ahead causing the rock to break. The pieces fall on top of it so where it's completely buried. ]

[ Well, she didn't see that coming. Okay no, she did hear it a bit. But she narrowed her eyes and then made her way over the rocks ]

'Ey, something there?

[ Hearing Melaka's voice there is some shifting under the rocks as the Pokemon tries to get itself free. Eventually something blue one eye pokes out. ]

Dum?

[ And that... is something she does not recognize. However, it does makes her curious again, and she crouches down to get more level with said eye to comment: ]

Wow, haven't seen one of you before.

[ The Pokemon tilts its body a little-- oh you're getting kind of close let's try and hide in this pile of rocks. ]

Dum.....?

[ ... Huh, that looks sort of cool. ]

Hey. [ And... it doesn't look like it has a nose but maybe she should hold a hand out to it to show a lack of malicious intent ]

[ The Pokemon stares at her hand for a moment, a look of confusion in its eye.

Well.... if you insist.

It'll bump itself into the hand as hard as it can from where its at as a form of hello. ]

Bel~!

Nice push! [ What she wanted to see! Sort of. It knocks her fist back a bit, even, so that was cool ]

[ The Beldum blinks for a moment. Oh, did she think that was cool? Let it do it again then! Another bump to the fist ]

[ Okay fine, but this time she's going to hit a little harder! Come on, more force, let's do it! ]
