The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

[ Robin flies back from the incoming sand, closing his eyes as to not get any sand in them. Moreso to keep the Pidgey focusing on him he counters with a Tackle despite his weakened accuracy.

Meanwhile Dick quietly makes his way over to where the Hoppip went and hid slowing down when he got closer to try not to startle it. ]

Hey, you alright?

[The weakened accuracy doesn't make the Pidgey any stronger than a trained Pokemon, and the Tackle still hits it. Cooing angrily, it shook itself of the pain and wondered if keeping up the fight was worth it... Eventually, it flew off into the forest.]

[Hoppip is shaking still when Dick approaches, looking up at him in surprise. Humans aren't too rare in this part of the forest, so Hoppip knows he's (probably) not some weird big Pokemon trying to eat it! After a moment of hesitation, it hops forward a little, leaves quivering a little.]

Hoppi...?

[ Once the threat was gone Robin lands on the ground and shakes the sand off to the best of his abilities before flying over to Dick and perching on his head tweeting contently.

With a small smile Dick holds out a hand to the Hoppip ]

It's okay. Robin here took care of it.

[After a moment, it smiles big and wide, jumping up eagerly. There's no more scary Pidgey..! And that other bird saved it, even though it could have eaten Hoppip too... Deciding these are good people, the tiny Pokemon flutters up onto Dick's offered palm in friendship.]

[ Dick chuckles and Robin chirps happily. Once it fluttered into his palm he then noticed just how small the Hoppip is. He glances around at the forest around them. ]

It might come back [ or another Pokemon might notice its size and try to eat it ] But we can keep you safe, if you want.

Hoooppip! Pip!

[Hoppip seems to agree, looking around too and then back up at Dick. Jumping up, it sits on his shoulder just beneath Robin. You have bonded with Hoppip! It's Level 6, everything else is up to you!]
