The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

[Rikka doesn't have time to gracefully grab a hanky, so she dabs her nose on her sleeve before taking another step forward.

She... tries to give a reassuring smile, in order to try and not scare it any further while she reaches out for her Warp Band, but not yet aiming it.]

It's okay, I'm sorry if I scared you...

[Sounding surprisingly sweet for her, but... well it was probably necessary in this case. Even if the Oddish can't understand her at this point, she tries to sound reassuring.]

[Mana stood there, eyes wide, watching the scene before her... but this was something she couldn't intervene much in, she knew. So she would hang back, and try not to do anything that might shock Oddish or distract it from Rikka]

(OOC: You guys can probably skip Mana until the bonding is complete)

[The Oddish tilts it's head, looking worried but also curious..]

[Rikka draws in a breath - and then tries to stop from sneezing again. Stupid allergies.] Okay, then. Let's... give this a shot again. I just want to be friends, okay?

[Sure, she had a couple bondings under her belt, but... this was still new territory. So, she takes aim and fires off the pulse of light from her Warp Band, hoping the Oddish doesn't get frightened in the process.]

[This poor little Oddish most likely will have to forgive you later but the light shocks them badly! Closing it's eyes and using the leaves on it's head to cover them, backing away but not fully running.

It doesn't seem to understand.]
