You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

That gets a ghastly little laugh out of Shi, who promptly receives a rap to the back of her.... body? Those things are all head. Who promptly gets a well-deserved pop.

Maya hops another step closer, trying to peer through the snowy weather to see this little... thing.]

Uh... H-hey there! Whatcha up to, little... guy?

[ Upon hearing Maya's voice again the Pokemon SHUFFLES REALLY CLOSE REALLY FAST to stare at her.

[Maya tries rEALLY HARD NOT TO SCREAM THAT WAS KIND OF A REALLY WEIRD MOVEMENT okay hi.]

hhhHELLO there--

[yeah she's just. gonna crouch down in the snow. Okay. This guy's not scary.

Startled? Psh. Pshaw. Maya??? Startled??? Never.

She's not embarrassed shut up.]

Hi. Um. I-I guess you live here, huh?

And then finally a nod. Yes it lives here. ]

Oh. Well then.

[weird little fellow, huh. Impulsively, Maya sticks out her hand for snover to shake, while Shi looks on, admiring the stupidity of it all.]

IIII'm Maya! Nice to meet you?

[ Snover looks at the hand for a moment before looking at her in confusion. What was this for?? ]

...oh! You shake it when you meet somebody. Right, Shi?

[Shi disappears, reappearing in front of Maya, and the two share a quick handshake before Shi goes back to peering over Maya's hair.]

See? It's just a hello.

[ A small head tilt before it gets it. Oh okay! It'll go ahead and shake Maya's hand now. Hello there! ]

[GOD IT'S COLD OKAY GOOD HANDSHAKE OVER.]

S-so, uh, I didn't disturb you or anything, right?

[Not that snover looks mad, or anything, but it's courteous to check, right?]

[ The Snover goes back to staring at her for a moment--

oh right you said something.

Nah, you didn't disturb it. It was just standing there until you came along.

Standing there. Waiting. ]

...waiting?

[Maya and Shi look at each other slowly. When Shi shrugs, Maya swallows.]

Waiting for what?

[ Yes. Waiting.

It was waiting until there was something to look at.

Or food. Whichever one came first. ]

[Maya's shoulders fall almost comically before she gives Snover a sheepish smile.]

O-oh. Well, I'm not food, but I guess I'm something to look at?

What do you eat, anyway? You're a snover, right? [Congrats, Maya, you pass basic pokemon identification.]

[ Snover nods. it has never seen something like you before so you are totally something to look at.

And as for something it eats well... it eats berries. And yes it is a Snover. At least last time it checked it was a Snover. ]

What, me? I'm a human!

You mean you don't get lots of travellers up here?

[Berries... Most pokémon like those. but--]

Where do berries grow in the snow?!

[ ooooooh.

Nope. Not very many travelers until recently. At least that's what it has heard.

And it just ... waits until the berries falls off its body. Then eats them. ]

You grow berries.

[Excuse her what]

[ Yes.

yes it does.

Give it a moment as it digs around for a berry to give to you. From its own body. ]

[Oh. Oh well, that. That sure is a thing.

Maya can't help but make a bit of a stupidly worried face while Snover isn't watching, to which Shi responds very responsibly.

By Shadow Sneaking far enough away to laugh without being heard.

(Maya, of course, throws a snowball at Shi while her back is turned.)]

[ Completely unaware of the look Maya is making or the snowball that was thrown at the Ghost Pokemon it finished looking for a Berry. It pulls it out and shows it off looking very pleased with itself. ]

[Oh no. Aw man. That's cute.

Maya can't refuse that, even if it's a bit strange to eat something a pokemon's just produced from its tiny tree body.

That, and it's food. And she's Maya.]

Well, you're nice enough to offer, so I guess I gotta try it, right?

[She holds out her hand to accept it... even if she's still a little worried.]

[ Snover nods before placing the berry in Maya's hand.

And then stares at her as it waits for her to eat it. ]

[Maya takes a deep breath-- only to get a little startled when Shi appears again to watch.

With that out of the way, she slowly raises the berry to her mouth.

And prays it isn't poisoned or like, a freezing charm or something.]

--Whoa! That's... that's actually pretty good!

[Colour both ghosts hella surprised.]

[ And just when it seems like Snover could get anymore pleased with itself it does with a thrill as it swings its arms up into the air happily. ]
