The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

Red catches a good look at the flying Pokemon just in time for it to pull around and dive at him, its fanged mouth open wide and drool running from its mouth as it goes right for him!

[This wasn't good at all! While he briefly wondered why he kept finding trouble, he remembers; it's because he keeps looking for it. Diving out of the way, he glances back at the Omanyte, peeking from his shell.]

Do it Adenine! Water Gun!

[Emerging quickly, Adenine turns to the flying menace and shoots a blast of water at it. Red snatches up his hat and scrambles for a rock to put it between him and this new Flying type.]

The Aerodactyl stops short, flapping its wings and shooting up into the air with a pained squawk.

Taking to the air again, it begins circling, looking for an opening.

[Don't like water, huh? That's handy and Red files it away, activating his Warp Band. After a moment, he steps from behind the rock and takes a breath.

Glancing to Adenine to make sure the Omanyte is ready, he receives a nod that another Water Gun will be ready if it looks bad. He then aims his wrist and shoots a pulse with the Warp Band at the Aerodactyl to try and make contact.]

Hey, instead of eating me, why don't you come with me? There's better places to fly than this.

I don't let prey escape.

And I don't plan on letting a strong potential partner slip away. Don't you want to see what the view from the top is like? I wanna get stronger, and I need a partner like you to push myself. We can push eachother for more, and do more, together.

Interesting, little foodling. Very well, if you can defeat me, I shall serve you!

The Aerodactyl dives hard, right at Red.

[Adenine readies, but Red cuts over to look at the Oymante.]

Use Rollout!

[Not hesitating, It withdraws into it's shell once more and starts turning, quickly building up to a feverish pace that normal the ancient Pokemon would never reach and starts grinding across thhe canyon floor. Timing here would be everything as Red dives out of the way and Adenine shifts it''s weight to make the rolling shell bounce; the goal being to smash into the Aerodactyl before it could snatch up Red.]

The Aerodactyl takes the rollout full in the face as it chomps down on the Omanyte. It's definitely hurting, but it's not letting go either.

[Red has an idea, since Aerodactyl's mouth is full, and brings his Totodile onto the field. She promptly cries, and Red points up at the foe Pokémon.]

Let's get serious and help Adenine! Use Water Gun, I'm sure it's weak against water!

[Hopping up, Zarya inhales and sprays a stream at the foe, feeling encouraged by Red assurance. He then leans in close to the Totodile to whisper the next vital part if the Aerodactyl isn't downed by Water Gun.]

When it comes close, use Ice Fang, I'm sure it's part Flying Type as well.

The Aerodactyl takes the water gun but is still coming in for another bite!

Adenine, use Bite!

[From it's perch in the Aerodactyl's mouth, it feels precarious at best, but the Omanyte emerges from it's helix enough to put it's mouth over a part of the foe Pokémon and delivers a quick Bite, and Zarya is ready, as soon as it comes for Red she jumps, kicking the teen aside as she leaps and the sharp teeth in her mouth glow a cold blue as she latches onto a wing with Ice Fang.]

The dual bites strike true and the Aerodactyl flinches back, dropping to the ground unable to continue fighting.

Well fought indeed! Very well, I shall serve!

[You have bonded with Aerodactyl! It is level 16
