The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

[Success! Quinn sighs in relief, but she is certain that this won't be the last time she saw that Fearow. Edan chirps in delight on this victory, flying around Quinn in circles.

Time to check in on the poor mouse Pokémon. She approaches the Pikachu carefully, kneeling down to it's level.]

You okay? That battle must have been rough on you.

[The Pikachu, on all fours, is tense until the Fearow is nothing more than a dot off in the sky. ...Then it heaves a great sigh, straightens up, and sits down heavily on the ground.]

Piiiiiika......

[That was a lot more than it had bargained for. Who would have thought that something like that would show up out of the blue?

If Quinn examines the Pikachu, she will find that it is physically exhausted and sore all over, but its actual wounds are fairly light. There are scrapes and bruises all over, but no injuries significant enough to necessitate emergency medical attention. The reason, most likely, is that one good spear with that beak would have offed it in one shot.

Pikachu will try to smile wearily. It certainly does owe Fletchling and, uh...... whatever she was its gratitude.

............Oh -- that's right. ...She was called a human, wasn't she?]

[Examining the injuries is, in fact, the first thing Quinn did now that she's close to it. She returns a small smile, Edan landing himself on the ground next to Quinn, who opens up her bag to dig out a Potion and her water bottle. Cupping her hand, she pours a fair amount into her palm before offering it towards Pikachu.]

Here. You fought well, so you deserve a drink at least.

[Pikachu will assume a slightly dubious expression at what it perceives as a condescending sort of gesture, but it's too tired to protest, in any case. It will lap a bit out of her hand.]

...Pikapi.

[Quinn gets a murmured thanks.

Does she come around here often? Had she seen that Fearow before? This was the first time it had ever seen such a strong Pokemon here..]

[All she is trying to do is be friendly, which is her natural state when dealing with Pokémon... Unless it's one that attacks others, but she can't be there for every fight. She certainly does try if she is around. She looks up at the sky in the direction where the Fearow flew off into the sky.]

There have been no reports of Spearow flocks migrating or living in this area, not to mention a strong bird like that is roaming around. I haven't seen a Fearow face to face until just a few moments ago...

[Kind of talking to herself in thought, but Edan listens carefully and does pitch in his commentary.]

[Yeah, we usually pass by these parts everyday!]

I know... If it comes back, then other Pokémon might not get lucky as Pikachu.

[She understands survival of the fittest and Pokemon do need to eat and all, but brutal attacks are never a pretty sight. She looks back at the two Pokémon.]

We should be prepared if we run into it again...

[You try to gather some berries to tide you over for winter and you turn into bird chow. Pikachu sighs a little bit. ...Well. It supposes everyone needs to eat, in the end.

Its tone grows a little bolder as it speaks. But it's alright. They showed it who was boss, didn't they? It will practice hard to make its electricity even more powerful and zap it right out of the sky if it comes back.

And then they can force Fearow to be vegetarian.]

Yeah.

[Hearing Pikachu speaking up with more confidence and less exhaustion does bring a smile to her. Edan and herself will also train themselves hard. She offer her hand once more towards Pikachu. Maybe she can fight alongside this Pikachu again. It never hurts to ask.]

If you wish, we can become companions and fight side by side again. I travel around these woods every day, so this won't be the last time we will ever see that Fearow. Working in a team is always better than being alone, right?

[We also got food, medicine, shelter, and all of that good stuff back at home too! It's a good deal!]

It's Pikachu's choice, Edan. If it refuses, we have to respect it's decision.

[Pikachu's ears perk up at this, and it blinks at Quinn in slight surprise. ...Well. It didn't want to spend all its time fighting. Hopefully that wasn't what she meant.]

Pika...

[It definitely owed her its life, though. If she wants it to go with her, then...]

Pika!

[OK! ...But they have to come back to the woods every now and then or it will get homesick, OK?

Quinn has bonded with Pikachu! It is Level 6 and the rest of its stats may be chosen at your discretion!]
