The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

[Elly moves quickly -- and then looks down at where Diglett is moving, blinking a couple of times, as she processes that. Then she takes a deep breath, and she leaps down to the ledge below. She lands in a crouch, taking a deep breath, and then laughs when she realizes she didn't break anything or tumble to her death at the bottom of the canyon.]

[Vierge pokes her head out after Elly, looks at her trainer, and then at Diglett, and sits back against the wall.]

[That jump is a big pile of NOPE for the Dratini.]

Diglett?

[Diglett looks curiously over at the Dratini. Wouldn't you rather be over here and not smushed at the bottom of the canyon??]

Come on, Vierge. It's okay.

[The Dratini glowers down at them; if her face worked that way, she would also frown, but that is not the case. Finally, she jumps down, too, and lands in Elly's arms.]

[Hooray everyone is here and not squished at the bottom of canyons! A part of the ledge they were on previously crumbles away now as Vierge jumps down - it would have been enough to stay standing on, honestly.

The new ledge they were on seemed to go inside the cliff wall a bit. Diglett will cheerfully lead the way into a cave.]

[Elly follows into the cave, squinting as she does, but keeps moving. The Dratini slides after her, eyes scanning for anything else that might be in here.]

[There really isn't much else - it's an empty, shallow recess into the side of the cliff. There are little furrows of dirt everywhere, indicative of Diglett's activities. Diglett will disappear down into the ground for a moment or two before reappearing with some nibbled plant roots on top of its head.

It circles in front of its guests for a few moments as if expecting them to take it.]

[She approaches the Diglett and picks the roots up off its head, looking them over for a moment, and lifts them up. She smiles, uncertainly, at them.]

[And at Diglett. Vierge picks them up warily with his mouth, and looks at Elly for guidance.]

[...d-does she have to eat them?]

[Yes.]

Diglett dig~

[Diglett will politely not stare at its guests while they consume delicious sweet plant roots.]

[BUT WHY]

[Elly makes a face at Vierge; Vierge makes a face back at Elly. Then, she takes a deep breath and nods her head with the grim resolution of those who expect to get a stomach ache later.]

[And then she eats the roots.]

Diglett!

[Diglett is happy to see that they've enjoyed its offerings. Would they like any more? It has stored up a lot yes a lot because it lives alone here and this is the first time it's had guests!

...Vierge might want to flee although Elly probably doesn't quite understand.]

[She eats said roots, making a bit of a face, and then she looks around the cave. She looks back at Diglett.]

Regular storehouse in here... oh, but you had us over for dinner.

[Nevermind Vierge moving back, she wants a new friend. A... Diglett friend.]

You should come with me! I could do the same.

[Fair's fair!]

D-Diglett?

[Diglett looks shocked! Come with her? But... there was so much it had to show its guests still! Like... its favorite dirt! And its favorite tunnel! And its favorite tunnel made of dirt!

But if she puts it that way... it is true that hospitality should be returned.....

Where is she even from?]

[Don't worry, Diglett. Elly's from THE INTERNETS.]

[She smiles at him, then nods reassuringly. She holds her hand up, showing the Warp Band. She presses a button; the small prongs come out.]

Here. This will make it easier to talk -- and I can tell you about Union, this way!

[Provided Diglett doesn't make a move to get away, she sends a small flash of blue light in his direction!]

Diglett!?

[Diglett isn't at all sure this is what hosts do for their guests! Or guests do for their hosts! When the Warp Band connects, it will convey the emotion of surprise!

...That's about it, though. Diglett is a happy-go-lucky sort of Pokemon and it's not going to be upset or afraid.]

[Elly sends a few thoughts through the Warp Band. Given her lack of communicative abilities, it's not quite clear words -- but some ideas and images. Her apartment and the facilities in Union, and some of the food she's cooked for her Pokémon. Including delicious roots and veggies!]

[...Diglett will consider this prospect for a moment or two. Well. It doesn't know what any of those things she's trying to convey are but it supposes that if she wants to be a hostess, there's no harm in it!

Elly has bonded with a weird Diglett!

It is Level 13 but the remainder of its stats is up to your discretion!]
