The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

[As Lux is moving through the mountains, she spots a Mienfoo meditating on a nearby rock]

[Hopping down from the Onix's back, she gestures it to stay there for now. It might be a bit too intimidating given its size, but she still wanted someone to interpret, so she summons Camille, slowly heading over.]

Excuse me?

[The Mienfoo's eyes snap open. It stands gracefully and looks at Lux, cocking its head slightly and awaiting her query.]

[Wow, is it actually not going to attack her? That was a very, VERY nice change of pace.]

My partners and I were looking for iron ore, would you know where I might find any?

[A pause.]

And what were you doing just now, if you don't mind my asking?

[The Mienfoo extends its arm and gestures to her warp band, giving her a meaningful look. If she's going to ask questions she should at least give it the ability to answer]

[She looks surprised. Well, she was going to use Camille as an interpreter, but if Mienfoo insisted... She activates it.]

[I have not seen iron up here. I am meditating.]

Meditating?

[Yes. Focusing my mind and freeing myself of distraction.]

But there isn't much that's distracting down here.

[It's just rocks.]

[Making it an ideal location.]

But you'll miss the world moving around you, all of these interesting things happening.

[She puts a hand on her hip. This Mienfoo really needed to get out!

Not that she could really talk, since up until a week or two ago, she didn't do much living herself. But she felt that she at least knew something.]

You mean you aren't curious at all about the world? There are so many beautiful, curious things out there! Interesting Pokemon and people, so many things to experience! You could spend your whole life exploring and still only see a little bit!

[Camille cooed. Oh, and good food.

She may have been a bit hungry herself. And honestly, anything was better than this dank, musty cave.]

[Again she was surprised, but quickly recovered, offering her hand with a smile.]
