The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.

Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

Asch also knows you're under thirteen and can't allow himself to let Ruby venture freely without an "adult" along. The red-head seems like the type to care about no one but himself but Asch can be rather caring and subcutaneously considered for others.] Looking to bond with anything special?

[Beauty was with Asch today, the flower fields seemed like her type of place. Yawning and resting atop a nearby rock, dark eyes illuminating over both males.]

[Ruby huffs a little, wondering if he could make a break for it and ditch the other. That would be a sure way for Asch to tell his dad about him though... augh! This was so stupid. Whatever, he switches gears and looks around the meadow, clasping his hands together.]

I'm sure the cutest Pokemon live here... it's so beautiful, it's inspiring! It makes me want to embroider floral patterns... Oh, and your Vulpix looks absolutely adorable out here in the flowers, you should get her something to match the aesthetic...

Ahh, actually, you do. [Know-it-all tone, he's heard Ruby's father go on and on about how Ruby isn't an idea battler.. Asch highly doubts this kid is ready for real wild Pokemon.] Hey, listen, keep your hands off Beauty. She's sunbathing and doesn't like bothered. Beauty is beautiful, it's a fact. Every beautiful Pokemon has its own unique characteristics and charms too... They're the loveliest thing in the world! Nothing can beat a gorgeous Pokemon like this!

[He continues to flatter the Vulpix, brushing her soft fur while he goes on and on.]

I'm looking for... hm. Something adorable! All of my Pokemon are super cute, but something even more adorable would be the best!

Well you have a bunch of adorable Pokemon, so that was my first clue. Even if Vaporeon's like... the least cute of Eevee's evolutions, he's still cute.

Mm... a Flower Pokemon would be so cute! I...

[He looks up from brushing Beauty, rambling on, when he notices Asch is in pain.]

Ugh, yeah, it's my damn brother- [Asch didn't know if it was Luke or not but he was going to blame him.] -but whatever..

Just stop wasting time brushing Beauty and start looking. We're never going to find you anything at this point.

[After a moment of realization, Ruby gets up and puts his things away.]

You're right! Sorry! I get carried away with that sometimes.

[Once his stuff is packed, he goes walking further into the flowers looking for any signs of life.]

Little asshole.. [Mumbling to himself before shooting a glace at Ruby.] Not you, I mean Luke. -And yeah, my brother gave me the headache. It's complicated.

[Sign of life? Well, while Asch is complaining a Pokemon pokes it's ears out form the flowerbed, fluffy little ears of some sort.]

[Whatever your issues are, Asch, Ruby chooses to ignore them when he spots the little ears in the flowers and walks closer. They look... fluffy...]

[What a stupid joke!!! ..-to be blushing over. Savior, Asch is never having kids.] What?! No! We're not those type of nobles. [If Asch wasn't frustrated he might be laughing at his own immature joke.]

-And don't pry into your elder business, kid!

[The Pokemon looks above the grass right at Ruby. Little black eyes blink before jolting right back into the flowers --ear's and all, before starting to hop away.]

[It flies over Ruby's 11 year old head. The noble-incest joke, anyway. He just thought Asch sounded funny talking about his brother that way. He's much more interested in the Pokemon with cute ears.]

[So he runs after her.]

H-hey, wait up!

[-Hey!! Come back here!] Kid! Don't go running off! [What is Asch doing? He doesn't babysit.]

Bun.. bun.. bun..! [All the while the little puff-ball hops along. Stopping suddenly at the nearest clearing, waiting for her pursuers.]

[Ruby completely ignores Asch to try and talk to the adorable bunny, turning on that irresistible charm of him.]

You're really pretty!

[The Buneary makes a stance, fighting position! Ears tuck themselves and fists go up, legs spread -- she's ready!

Ask any Pokemon in these parts. They'll know who the biggest, baddest, Buneary this whole flower field has known.] Bun!

[He looks really disappointed then. He doesn't want to battle he just wants to make a cute adorable friend!!]

Ummm..! [The Pokemon grunts before huffing and crossing her arms like a delinquent.] Bun!

Well would you look at that. [Asch says in a mocking tone..] Sounds like it, kid. What now?

[It's a shocking admission, and he blushes a little bit.]

I can't battle her...

Come on, really? You've never had a Pokemon battle? [Asch leans in, oh-- how he leans in close, Rudy.] We both know that bullshit... If you want that Pokemon you'll have to try.

[He's never having kids, fuck this.]

Give it one of those shitty contest battles, show it how you battle.

[He Warps Coco in, the Skitty uncurling from where she'd been napping, thanks Ruby and unruffling her ears. Ruby pauses to smoth out her fur.]

Sorry, Coco! I need you to show this cute Pokemon some contest moves! Show her how a real Cute Pokemon does it!

[With a vain little purr, Coco shakes the sleep off and lets out the cutest Growl you've ever heard.]
