Mewtwo Event Start
They came in a horde. Ferried by enormous water types and a huge flock of flying types, each fully evolved with strange markings across its body. They were angry. They were in pain. And they were here.
Moving across the land like a tidal wave, the horde of strange Pokemon swept across the land, making their way inexorably toward Union, and leaving devastation in their wake. At their head, a Psychic Pokemon of immense, immeasurable power. Covered in armor that did little to mask the scent of rotting flesh that accompanied it, the Pokemon’s mind seemed unburdened by the state of its body as it swept trees from their root with but a contemptuous gesture.
As the Union forces scrambled to meet the army of Pokemon, Ori, the mysterious young person who had visited before appeared in a flash.
Begone, Origin! This no longer concerns you!
The voice thundered in the minds of all present, the rage of the attacking Pokemon palpable as its horde roared in agreement.
Ori gave the Pokemon a sad smile as their body began to glow with an aura of pink light. In an instant, the human was gone, and another, much smaller Pokemon remained.
This is unnecessary. We… they can help you.
I trusted my fate to humanity once. Never again will I make such a foolish mistake.
You will see. They will show you the way.
The two mysterious stones taken from the Gigas installation appeared besides Ori, but their sheen seemed almost nonexistent. Closing their eyes, the Pokemon engulfed the battlefield in an aura of shimmering pink light. The wails and screams of the Pokemon assembled before them grew palpable. Screams of pain, screams of want, screams of beings slowly dying, grasping for a final hope that their master might cast down the accursed humans and find a cure for their malady, a way to allow them to live as whole beings.
But comprehension is not understanding. Heedless of the aura, the Pokemon advanced, a wave of destructive fury hurled to the teeth of the Union column.
[Mew’s Blessing: During this log all characters will be able to communicate with each other and all Pokemon telepathically, and can resonate with them without having to use their Warp Band. They can bond with any Pokemon on the field without the aid of their warp band, so long as they can present a good reason for the enemy to do so.
Children of the Verdant Forest will be especially affected, and during this log they will have a sharp increase in their empathic feelings. They will feel the pain of the cloned Pokemon before them, the pain of being “lesser” beings, incomplete, and the pain of the knowledge that their lives will soon end, the process that created them being unable to sustain their lives.
Kindred Souls will have some empathic ability, but to a lesser degree than Children of the Verdant Forest as outlined above]

Sinbad, Sophia, Duo, Pamela, Arachne
A massive shadow hurtles towards this cluster of humans, howling and gnashing its plentiful teeth, only to pass - right through them. It turns around and yells again, voice reverberating both in their eardrums and in their brains.
It hurts, humans! Will it stop if you’re gone??
Re: Sinbad, Sophia, Duo, Pamela, Arachne
"We just want to help," He calls out in the gentlest voice possible, remembering that fight in the time cave - that pokemon he had fight and what happened to it. "We want to fix what's wrong," he held his hands over his heart, feeling it twist from empathetic pains.
Ponyta, Leafeon, Doublade, Lucario, Noibat, Haxorus
The crowding emotions of fear from her pokémon might be equally overwhelming were it not bolstered by the twinned faith and love for her; the ponyta foal she's been raising (who'd refused to leave her, refused to stay with older and stronger pokemon, who wanted to stay with Sophia-Mama) bleats from behind her legs.
"How does it hurt? What happened to you?" How long have you been hurting? She shivers, dropping one hand down to the foal, while more of her found family crowd close, Gebo pressed against one leg and Ymir taking his place ahead of her, determined to protect in spite of No Guard.
Scyther, Abra
Correction: she's hated this since it started, and she had no intention of involving herself. Unfortunately, her attempt to hide in the forest to escape from it all had only resulted in unintentionally being in the range of Unions forces when they were sent out to deal with this situation. Her solution had been to hide up a nearby tree, when... this new racket started up instead.
For now she watched, still in her spinarak form, cautiously poised on a branch thick with leaves. She had no concern for what would befall those Unionite humans, but all of the excess noise needed to stop.
Then do something about it instead of complaining about them.
That broadcast thought was entirely unintentional, but her tolerance level was extremely low.
24 hour advancement!
Lifting its arms over its head, it summons an enormous Shadow Ball. Tell me, humans. Was this worth it??
And it fires the Shadow Ball at Sophia and her team. How nice, that they're clustering together. What an easy target.

Raine, Rise, Minako, Lenna, Orihime
…well, one Pokémon stands. Perhaps this group can get past it to Mewtwo?

They didn't want to die. Orihime didn't want them to die either.
She'd never seen a Wobbuffet of that color before, and it almost slipped her notice completely as her cheeks grew wet with tears. Why were they hurting like this? How could they be saved? The answer, perhaps, lay with that armor-coated Pokemon. Even from here the sight of it made her sick. Something had been done to it, but what?
Could they be healed?
A strange warmth swelled in her chest as she took a step closer, then another. She lifted her hand, fingertips stretched forward, to gently touch the top of the steadfast Pokemon's head. A quiet flow of healing energy seemed to leak from her very soul as her powers began to manifest once more, the way they had for Duo.
~What do you need?~ she asked, her brow inclined. ~How can we help all of you?~

Pikachu, Eevee, Absol, Ditto, Petilil, Castform
With all the sounds of pain and suffering amplified around them, to come up against a Pokemon standing alone seemed. Odd.
Before they can get too close, Raine prepares a special magical barrier around them just in case. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to battle, if the others were stepping ahead with, essentially, their compassion at the ready. Her pokemon were on standby as well, save the Eevee, who had strangely insisted on coming along with her, different from it's usual actions.
For the moment she's pensive, watching the others go ahead and carefully analyzing the Pokemon standing before them. If it could be reasoned with, all the better, but... practicality came before faith, especially after the weeks of nightmares.
Espeon, Blissey, Gardevoir, Scizor, Altaria
Rise has seen this before.
Literally seen this before.
That excursion to the past, watching the literal wave of Pokémon, filled with nothing but divine rage, coming to smash humanity and all its works to rubble. She barely has time to be overwhelmed by remembered fear before she notices the...individual...blocking the way to Mewtwo.
"Uh..."
She calls out Kaneda, her Espeon, and after a quick check and a pet to make sure he's on the side of the cute god here, she goes about trying to remember how you get past a Wobuffet. It's a bit difficult given the conflicting emotions of pain and fear she's picking up from the Pokémon and the sheer...confusing she has at facing a Wobuffet.
"Hey there! Can we go talk to your boss, please? I think there's been a misunderstanding."
Might as well lead with the Union standard if it's not being aggressive off the bat.

Michiru, Pidge, Ken, Gordon, Keith
And it isn't alone. A darkly beautiful Pokemon flits along at it's side, eyes staring mournfully at the party.
So. You have come. Are you prepared for your end, Humans?
Koffing, Ralts, Venipede, Caterpie, Wurmple
This is, of course, an act. Naturally. He isn't actually overwhelmed by the sheer pressure of the anger being directed at humanity by these mysterious, powerful Pokémon. That would be absurd.
Stand at attention! his Ralts announces, snapping its banner to its side as it bows to the enemy. All hail the Pokémon Kaiser!
"Shut up." These are just the small fry, right? The leader is the one in the armor.
The leader is the perfect Pokémon Ken's been waiting for. So why won't his knees move?
Magnemite, Emolga, Zorua
Snorting softly in annoyance, she drew her short blade and dutifully ignored the bizarre commentary from the Ralts and the kid who was actually younger and smaller than her standing nearby.
"Just stay back, kid," she said, holding out an arm to block Ken should he decide to move. Then, more loudly: "I don't think anyone's got plans to die today."
Gardevoir, Rapidash, Noivern, Vaporeon, Reuniclus
"No, not quite."
Reuniclus immediately starts off with a Reflect, though Gardevoir gives the other Gardevoir a hard look before setting up Light Screen for the team (Ken's Ralts does get a weird look though).
Cleffa and Poliwag...
[His pokemon team isn't exactly impressive or anything, Seki, his Cleffa is attached to his shoulder while he leaves his poliwag on reserve until he's to be summoned. In his hand he has his fire typed sword, which he holds defensively as he comes up beside Pidge and falls into a stance.]
Not by you.

Haruka, Right, Yuuna, Saber, Harry
There would be no lives spared this day. Death would come for all.
Rhyperior, Reuniclus, .....Rhyhorn (shut up)
Haruka isn't a particularly empathetic person, so she doesn't receive the full brunt of this (unintentional?) psychic assault. But it's annoyingly hard to pinpoint the source. Shoot.
"Throwing a bit of a tantrum, huh," she mutters - and closes her eyes, trying to sense where the rage is most concentrated from where she sits atop Brilliance the Rhyhorn. Usually this is Michiru's job, but Michiru isn't here.
Haruka will just have to try and see whether she can determine the enemy's location herself. Or at least be alert enough to counterattack once it betrays its position. But seriously? Attacking Union for wrongs done, whatever those wrongs are, by somebody else?
That's almost depressingly juvenile.
Stoutland, Gardevoir, Gallade, Tyranitar, Pachirisu
He blocks it out as best he can, enough to pick up on the sense of bloodthirst hanging in the air and steels himself. As much as he can feel the suffering of these Pokemon, they are here to kill him and a lot of other people, and if that's the way things have to go he'll just have to try to kill them right back.
He glances toward the Pokemon beside him, all of them alert and at the ready for whatever might come next. Lash pauses a moment to raise her hands and set up her dual defenses of Light Screen and Reflect in preparation for the inevitable attack.
"So, anybody else feel like something's about to jump out from the trees and try to stab them?" He looks around the group before returning to scanning the trees. "I usually feel like that so I'm just making sure it isn't just me."
Lucario, Blissey, Diggersby, Sawsbuck, and Absol
Today is the day, at last... Taosu the Absol declares rather calmly. Today, we all die.
No, we're not!! Yami the Diggersby growls to the Dark-type. I have too many plans for this city to just up and die like craven here!
Silence, both of you! Soft Steel the Lucario hardly even looks over his shoulder. He scans the forest canapy, looking for enemy auras.
Salamence, Flygon, Escavalier, Pyroar, Shinx
Saber senses the killing intent hidden within the forest, and covers herself with Iron Defense, and with some mental urging, Ddraig also focuses on a Protect.
"I'm getting tired of being ambushed in these woods," saber comments. "Show yourself!"
With any luck, that would get the hostile presence's attention on her, at least.
Hitmonchan (of course), Infernape, Primeape, Toxicroak, and Golurk

Oh dear...
Adell, Veronica, Rei, Garviel, Gwendolyn
After all, they all were destined for the same end. This would just come sooner than expected.
Blaziken, Beedrill, Houndoom
"And I thought Mom's Haunter could be creepy when it laughed out of nowhere," he grumbled, but it was pretty clear he wasn't actually scared. His eyes looked quickly to the others assembled here. Fortunately, a couple of familiar faces in the mix. He gave a quick nod to Garviel and Gwendolyn, and then looked to the edge of the forest.
"Think something's funny, do you?"
Altaria, Talonflame, Kadabra, Buneary, Luxray, Salemance
And now this.
She prefers open skies every time, but if she had to be here, at least she is not alone - Adell's nod is returned with the briefest of smiles, and she closes the gap between her and the two Calderans. They have fought together before, she trusts them to watch her back if needed. With Myris clinging to her shoulder (trembling and worried for her princess-partner) and Muninn following closely at her side with sweeps of his cloud-wings, the Valkyrie is already feeling at her most defensive, wings partially unfurling as the laughter trickled along the forest's edge. Her Kadabra warps into view, distorting the air on her left before twitching his long whiskers, deeply displeased as his eyes scan the area.
"What is it you want? And why Union?" Why is it ALWAYS Union?
Noibat
Dressed in full Swords of the Savior regalia, complete with the details marking her as an officer, Veronica steps to the fore of the group. Nemesis the Noibat flaps just above her shoulder, significantly less impressively attired - she has a bow atop her head. "Is anyone an empath?"
Are you suggesting a heart-to-heart? Nemesis chuckles at the thought, apparently enjoying being understood by all present. You're a native of Union already, Veronica!
Oddish Riolu Honedge
"No I am.."
Loken frowns at the sound of mind-voices. "What's happening?"
He is at least reassured he is surrounded by people that he's quite aware know how to fight, or at least how to lead a police action. Though in truth, he's hoping he doesn't have to fight again so soon after his last wounding. He had only just now completed rehabilitation
