Wild Pokémon Catch-All 2
The vast wilderness beckons! Beginning January 25th, 2014, all wild Pokémon threads that aren't incorporated as part of another post should go here. You are still welcome to include a section for bonding with wild Pokémon as a part of another entry or a log, but we encourage isolated wild Pokémon threads to go here to prevent flooding of the main comm with entries specifically geared to only cover wild Pokémon threads.
Please respond to the correct Week if possible for organizational purposes.

Now, Usagi's just following a step or two behind Rei, idly glancing around at the dilapidated walls and trying to ignore the faint sounds of Yamask's in the distance as they make their way through the ruins.
She's honestly holding back all the apprehension she has just being in a place like this, and keeping her eye out for... ]
... what's the pokemon look like again?
no subject
It's small and green. About the size of a tennis-ball. With a beak and pinkish wings. And a little pink feather coming out of it's head. It's called a Natu, I believe. And it likes to stare at things.
It was only recently discovered, I believe, so that's all the information I have, beyond knowing it's somehow important to my past self.
no subject
Okay.
[ ..... she would probably have to go searching for that Golurk that was in her own dream at some point then, wouldn't she? There's small shake of her head before she concentrates on finding that Natu for Rei. ]
no subject
Which...she totally understands. A big part of the reason for looking for this bird, though, is because it is a Pokemon. And it's probably waiting for her. and it was incredibly cute.
Still, there's something that needs to be said. Because she'd not forgotten her friend's protests. Not at all.]
Usagi-chan. Thank you, for coming with me.
no subject
Hm?
[ Well, there's nothing under that rock Usagi had just tried to lift, so she slowly makes her way to another area to see if she can't spot anything and starts sifting through some rubble. ]
You're welcome! I figured you could just treat me to a good milkshake when we get back home to pay me back~
[ It doesn't matter if Rei turns to her, but Usagi still lifts her head and grins playfully. That, however, is her undoing because while she's not watching where she's stepping, her foot lands on a loose rock and the next thing she knows, she's falling forward and landing on the ground with a large thump. ]
Eeek!
no subject
We'll see.
[Of course, Rei doesn't look because she's still pretty intent on the search. Until she hears a thunk on the ground behind her and turns, blinking.]
Usagi-chan? Are you hurt?!
[She's started heading over there when she notices something. That line is running right through the rock pile. Curious...]
no subject
[ Thankfully, her fall doesn't herald any bad injuries. Just a few scratches and she may have a bruise on her arm from when she landed. So, for a moment, she just rolls over so she's sitting down nice and safely while looking herself over. ]
I'm fine! ... It's just my pride that's hurt is all.
no subject
[Rei reaches out and taps her Warp Band, bringing out Deimos just in case. The Gardevoire's already casting a Heal Pulse over at Usagi to staunch any possible injuries.]
You may have found something. I feel a connection, this way. The direction you fell.
[So, stepping around Usagi, Rei heads off towards the southeast, towards a ruined looking circular building. A watchtower maybe?]
no subject
[ She might sound a little miffed that her personal pain was what started the ball rolling, but Usagi isn't upset at all. So, while Deimos is healing her up all nicely, she just glances in the direction she had originally been facing and hums. ]
I'll be right there!
[ Actually, while Deimos is patching up the last of her boo boos, Usagi's just going to reach into her pack and pull out a poketreat to give her as thanks as soon as she's done. ]
no subject
[Rei’s lips curl into a vaguely bemused expression. Usagi, at least, was somewhat self aware and that was always a blessing in a girl like her. Miffed or no, she had given them a bit of a lead, a direction to go. So, confident in Deimos’ ability to keep Usagi safe from any Yamask that happens to wander by she keeps on going, though at a sedate pace. If there is something there, there’s no reason to startle it by rushing in.
Deimos, however, regards Usagi with an impassive expression, but accepts the snack with a dip of her head. It vanishes in a single bite, as even graceful creatures like Gardevoir get hungry too. And they have favorite snacks…but that’s not enough to really distract her from the mission of “watch Usagi, make sure she doesn’t get hurt by ghosts.” And to that end, she nods towards her trainer, starting to follow Rei towards the ruined watchtower.
When they catch up, Rei’s just standing there, looking skeptically at the entrance. It’s in bad shape, the top collapsed all the way down to the doorframes, debris littering the ground around it. The whole thing is covered in a thick coat of loamy moss, stained by salt and time, and the atmosphere is nothing short of ominous. Dark winds swirl around it, and the sounds of something moving inside are troubling at the very least.]
Are…you ready, Deimos? Usagi? The lines lead here.
no subject
One, to make sure that there weren't any on coming pokemon, and two because she can't help but let her mind wander to those places she's been trying to ignore for now. ]
As ready as I can be! ... Mostly.
[ Usagi fully looks at the watch tower before glancing over to her friend. ]
Let's do this.
no subject
[Rei does the smart thing, and not only brings out Deimos, but calls out Sabaeus as well. The Gengar appears and immediately melds into her shadow, eyes blinking up at Usagi. He'll guard the back. You help up front.]
Let's go.
[Rei steps forward and pushes open the rotting door, causing it to fall away almost immediately, the wood crumbling away into a loamy dust. Wrinkling her nose, the priestess steps inside, calling up a Will O Wisp to light the long forgotten chamber. The lines of fate she's seeing led her here...but there doesn't seem to be anything there. Just a few old boxes, a rusty metal chest, and some moldy old axes and spears that look like they've seen better days.]
Well...it seems to be clear. I guess we should have a look around, huh?
no subject
You think it's hiding in those boxes over there?
[ She motions over to where the few boxes are scattered around. ]
no subject
Why don't you check? And I'll see if it's over by this chest?
no subject
[ And like that, Usagi just makes her way towards the boxes and looks down at them with her hands on her hips. Hm.
She dusts the top of the first box and opens it up to start rummaging through it to see what could be there... ]
no subject
What?!
no subject
[ Usagi stumbles backwards when the flash of happens, and lands flat on her butt. It hurts, but, now she's got to try and get her vision back to normal. ]
What the heck is going on?!
no subject
[The bird Pokemon squawks again and flaps it's wings, taking off and flying outside, but drops the little crystal next to Usagi.]
Apparently you annoyed one of the locals.
no subject
[ Usagi yells at the retreating Wingull before moving to stand up. ]
What's this?
[ The shiny stone has grabbed her attention, and now she's reaching to pick it up. ]
no subject
I don't know.
[She glares after the Wingull too.]
What is it?
no subject
[ Yep. Usagi does a once over on the object before holding it out for Rei to look at. ]
I've heard that birds like shiny things... that Wingull probably was probably keeping it for itself.
no subject
Did...you hear that?
[It comes again, a tapping, popping sound.]
no subject
She's a little apprehensive, but, she still makes her way over to it the moment it makes the noise for the second time. ]
I swear if another pokemon comes out to scare me....
no subject
Well just stand back then.
[She tries it, and it seems locked. So...she takes a guess and tries the key. and it clicks open to reveal...a small green bird!
A small green bird that is very excitedly flapping it's wings! And bouncing out of the chest to land squarely on Usagi's head! And this time? It's Rei that winds up on her butt, surprised by the sudden leap.]
H-Hey!
no subject
Except the green bird is faster than her, and before she can cover her head, Usagi feels a nostalgic pressure sitting on her head.
She blinks. Blinks again, and then slowly looks up with an incredulous look on her face. ]
Huh?
