The Elite Four Strikes
The battle is joined. The gods of Union, while mighty, seem to pale in comparison to the singular dragon of ice. Although they strive mightily to avoid damaging the city, already the mysterious blue dragon has been flung directly into a tower, earning itself a nasty gash over its eye, much to the dismay of the red dragon. While it has rejoined the fight, it is clear that the gods alone are not enough - the people of Union will have to step forward if they are to save their beloved city. The cries of the wounded and terrified citizens echo through the streets as the flames of battle rage. Now is the time - they must be stopped!
Battle Group 2 - Kyosuke, Excellen, Rise, Duo, Morgiana

Rise Kujikawa. I'm an Analyst, and I have some ESP powers. I'll let you know when I feel one of them. You guys are probably going to have to take care of the offense, though.
[Not that the god would be easy to miss. She's followed by her Gardevoir Himiko and her Blissey Toyo, with the rest of her troupe spreading out through the area to help with the evacuation in their own ways.]

"Rise, yes? I can be all the offense you'll need."
She probably couldn't; they looked awfully strong. BUT, she could see the enemy, and her heart was pounding with excitement. The truth was that while this was all terrible, a part of her that had been growing harder and harder to ignore WANTED something like this to happen. Morgiana had to be honest with herself. She wanted to test herself against a powerful enemy and break them. She wanted to fight and win against overwhelming odds.

[ He was an ugly thing, wasn't he? Oh well, the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and at this point she was something of a seasoned veteran when it came to fighting rampaging gods. As terrible as that sounded.
Her Octstan Launcher strapped to her back, she took to the air, Tadakatsu the Golurk following close behind. The two split, Golurk heading toward its flank, while Excellen looked for a good vantage point. ]
Let's show 'em what happens when you mess with Union~

[As with before, Kyosuke didn't have much time to think or be afraid, he charged in, blazing flames behind him and his Revolver Stake plunging at the dragon's flank]

[Rise closes her eyes and focuses. She wasn't able to Analyze a god before, but it can't hurt to try again. Be terrifying, maybe, but not hurt.]
My girls should be able to hit it from the ground. Watch out for Fairy-lasers up there.
Toyo, you're on defense, Himiko...let's hit it hard before it does too much damage, okay?
[Rise holds up her Warp Band and exposes the beautiful rainbow stone there. With a keening Psychic call, Himiko evolves into Mega Gardevoir, and immediately begins meditating to power itself up with Calm Mind]
[Toyo, for her part, begins her defensive maneuvers, setting up a Light Screen.]
Houndoom, Duskull, Rotom, Absol, Mightyena, Pidove
[After the confrontation in Glacier, Duo'd been waiting for another 'rogue' god to come calling. It should be interesting, to say the least.]
Let's do this, guys.
[The Absol, Mightyena, and Pidove were his newest that had responded to this one with him, and the Rotom was a bit flakey, but they'd been the easiest to get to come to him without the Warp Band, and he had several really low leveled Pokemon right now. He didn't want to risk them in this fight.
Pidove, Rotom, and Duskull all took to the air. As they did that, Houndoom attacked with Flamethrower and Duo used his Bullet Punch gun. Absol and Mightyena used the moment to move into position.]
Pangoro and Tropius
Overhead was a rather ungainly combination of a Tropius struggling to maintain her current elevation while holding up the bulk of a Pangoro. They were waiting until the humans had the dragon sufficiently distracted for a successful bellyflop attack.

Kyurem registers the movement out of the corner of its eye. Then, without even turning its head fully - its gaze is focused towards the sky, where it'd last seen the other dragons, and where the Habitat towers above the city - it sways rhythmically, side to side, and takes a step forward so that Morgiana's attack will miss.
This field is not to its liking yet. Perhaps a Rain Dance will fix that, dwindling all Fire-attacks headed for Kyurem to half their former strength. So while the others' attacks will hit, it...doesn't seem too bothered just yet.
Also, have fun flying in the rain. ]

[Rise sends out a psychic missive to her Ninetales, asking her to report to the battlefield. Since the Warp Bands aren't functional, though, it will be awhile before she can arrive.]
[While Toyo puts up a Reflect to finished protecting the group, Himiko gathers up the remaining moonlight making it through the clouds and forms it into power, launching the distinctive sparkling beam of a Moonblast toward Kyurem's center of mass.]
Kyosuke will be joined by Aggron, Machamp, Talonflame, Garchomp and Empoleon
Excellen has Golurk, Pidgeot and Goodra
Hey, the weather man didn't say it was supposed to rain today. Poor Taddy's gonna melt at this rate. Somebody oughta complain.
[ Not good. If this thing had anything else Water-based in its arsenal, he would go down like a wet paper sack. Slimer would thrive in this kind of weather, but if her intuition was right, then that thing would hit him with the same type of weakness.
All they could do was stall until someone (hopefully) changed the weather back in their favor. Quickly landing on a rooftop, the blond laid low, aiming her rifle, and firing three quick Psychic-charged blasts. ]

Meanwhile, overhead, the rain was the final straw. The Tropius's flying became erratic enough that Gultas lost his grip and fell off. The pangoro panicked for a bit, but this had really been the plan all along, and eventually he got oriented enough to turn from a tumbling mess into a terminal velocity super punch aimed (so much as aiming was possible at all) at the small of the dragon's back.
24 hour advancement!
And it definitely does not like being hit by that Moonblast. Grunting - and taking a sidestep against some buildings, which creak and crumble - it turns its attention away from the Habitat and stares at the group. Very well. Trash disposal first.
It raises its wings. They shine in the light - but not the refracting glitter of ice crystals. These, as Kyurem readies its attack, have the smooth sheen of solid steel.
Then it sends those wings flapping down, hard. It's aiming for Himiko, but it's delivering a Steel Wing to the neighborhood on either side of it. Swatting is suitable for pests. ]

Ah! I've got it covered, don't worry. Keep up the pressure...
[Toyo hands Himiko a Softboiled egg that she accepts gratefully, recovering from the worst of the damage, albeit not all of it. Shaking herself off gracefully, Himiko retaliates beat for beat with a Pixilated Hyper Voice, singing defiance at Kyurem.]

[ Or Kyosuke will go full aggro. How is she not surprised? Honestly, that should be expected. Flying out and weaving about, she covers his ascent with a number of Normal-type bullets from her rifle, howling a bit as she fires. It helps her aim, she swears. ]
Taddy, help Kyosuke out!
[ Blasting off toward the site of impact, the Golurk's body shines with a well-timed Iron Defense as it lands next to the Steel-typed enlightened. ]
Doing okay down there, Morgy?

It's...big. Nothing I do is having any effect on it! We need a better plan of attack!
Up above, both her pokemon were sent flying. The Tropius righted itself in the air just in time to avoid crashing into the ground, and Gultas was sturdy enough that a few bounces weren't going to take him out, but either way they wouldn't be back in the fight immediately. The attack on them had been much more successful than the attack on her.

But right now it is mostly not happy at Himiko. No, it is not happy at all. In fact, it has a pounding headache.
So, while continuing to flatten the city with its wings, it glares at the Mega Gardevoir. A sphere of shining mental energy appears in front of it.
Then it lets go with a Focus Blast, sending the sphere zooming Himiko's way. Ideally it'd like to hit her - but it will settle for any buildings just past her, if it must. ]

[The Mega Gardevoir stands there and just...tanks the Focus Blast. That was about the worst super-move to use on Pokémon of Himiko's species. It's still a powerful hit, but she can grit her teeth (if Gardevoirs have those) and bear it while Toyo uses Copycat to send her own Focus Blast back at the god. Himiko follows it up with another Moonblast just to demonstrate that Kyurem should pick on someone its own size.]

Excellen! Match my timing!
Flames stream from Kyosuke's back as he ignites his flame typing to give him an enormous speed boost as he rockets forward, the autocannon on his hand firing a stream of bullets at the creature's flank.
2/2
[ Flying out from her safe little hiding spot, Excellen charged, weaving about and alternating between shooting Normal-type and Psychic-type bullets in what looked to be a very well-coordinated dance. ]

She jammed her feet down until they were actually IN the ground, giving herself more stability and more leverage, then thrust both hands out towards Kyurem. From some vague area around her wrists, chains made of flame unrolled out and wrapped around the one of the dragon's wings. She doubted she could seriously burn a god, but if she could just make the flames intense enough, maybe they'd be able to act as actual chains and restrict Kyurem's movements. Even if it was just for a second, it might give the others the chance they needed to actually get a solid hit in on the thing.

Smoke wisping from its body from where all the Fire attacks had hit it, it snarls, gnashing its teeth and trying to lift its wings against Morgiana's chains. While the chains do finally snap, they leave smoking patterns on Kyurem's wings. The god beats said wings once, trying to knock Kyosuke and Excellen off-course, and looks around for a different target.
These are not hard to find in a city.
Kyurem raises its head towards the Habitat. And it fires a Hyper Beam. ]
no subject
[Rise sees where it's aiming, and freezes. Literally the majority of her friends are in there, unless it's been evacuated and she doesn't know.]
Gardevoir. Blissey!
[Her Pokémon, on the other hand, know exactly what they have to do. The briefest glance and an emphatic flipper-shake is all they need to work out the plan, and through their connection that goes deeper than the simple mechanism of the Warp Band ever did, Rise catches on about half a second too late to stop them.]
Wait, guys, no!
[Still holding Toyo's hand, Himiko Teleports the duo to a point midway between Kyurem and the habitat, holding them in place telekinetically for just a couple seconds. Toyo takes a deep breath and refreshes her Light Screen just before the Hyper Beam hits her, praying in her Pokémon way that the shield is wide enough to block the whole beam.]
[Then the Hyper Beam hits.]
