The battle is joined. The gods of Union, while mighty, seem to pale in comparison to the singular dragon of ice. Although they strive mightily to avoid damaging the city, already the mysterious blue dragon has been flung directly into a tower, earning itself a nasty gash over its eye, much to the dismay of the red dragon. While it has rejoined the fight, it is clear that the gods alone are not enough - the people of Union will have to step forward if they are to save their beloved city. The cries of the wounded and terrified citizens echo through the streets as the flames of battle rage. Now is the time - they must be stopped!

[Having spread out from both of the other "Theater" groups to cover more ground, Rise ends up with a few people she doesn't know, although Morgiana is at least familiar as Chie's girlfriend. She's completely on-task, scanning the sky with her mind to find a good vantage point to reach either Kyurem or Sveta, but she does take time to introduce herself.]

Rise Kujikawa. I'm an Analyst, and I have some ESP powers. I'll let you know when I feel one of them. You guys are probably going to have to take care of the offense, though.

[Not that the god would be easy to miss. She's followed by her Gardevoir Himiko and her Blissey Toyo, with the rest of her troupe spreading out through the area to help with the evacuation in their own ways.]

[The good thing about being as study as he is, is that you could literally drop a building on him and he'd be okay. That's probably why he wound up in this group. He could take hits all day long and get back up again. He's partially made of metal.]

[He's joined by his six pokemon: Goro, the Marowak; Kodak, the Kricketune; Fuji, the Gogoat; Nikon, the Aggron; Cyclone, the Rotom; and Pentax, the Darumaka.]

[Saber nods to Hayato and Maka, grateful she wound up near at least two people she's familiar with.]

Watch for assaults or fallen buildings coming down from above. The enemy doesn't have control of the sky, but that's where they'll be coming from anyway.

Mami has Florges, Audino, Cradily, Drifblim, Emboar, and Zangoose.

[Mami is furious, but like any consummate professional, she doesn't let it show.]

[Once she saw the attack, she rushed for the habitat. She needed her team with her -- and without the Warp Band, she needed to find them. They met her halfway. Now, the young woman is whipping up a tower on her ribbons, her Pokemon following by flight and leaps as need be. Mami looks up, all business as she looks up at Kyurem -- and for Sveta.]

[Her shiny Cradily sucks up a nearby plant as it leaps onto a rooftop, snacking on the garden there. She uses Stockpile. Her Zangoose crashes down, too; four swords spin around him, as he activates Swords Dance.]

Morgiana heard Rise's telepathic voice and homed in on her location via other senses. She didn't really know Rise beyond 'someone Chie knew', but any kind of familiar face at all was good right now. She arrived via her normal idiom: landing from on high with a loud thud a few feet away from the other girl. She looked like she had already seen some action of some kind, but didn't have any obvious injuries.

"Rise, yes? I can be all the offense you'll need."

She probably couldn't; they looked awfully strong. BUT, she could see the enemy, and her heart was pounding with excitement. The truth was that while this was all terrible, a part of her that had been growing harder and harder to ignore WANTED something like this to happen. Morgiana had to be honest with herself. She wanted to test herself against a powerful enemy and break them. She wanted to fight and win against overwhelming odds.

[Ami was not surprised. Of course she wasn't surprised. Insane, power hungry, cultist had been on her mind since Glacier. So when crazy reared its head, she was quick to grab Rei because she knew her fiancé would go off to fight the dragon. And in truth, with her abilities, she'd be formidable. Except together, the both of them could help protect their home. She brought with her Socrates the Dragonite, Hypatia the Florges, Aurora the Luxray, Nightengale the chansey, and Minerva the noctowl to help around the city. She knew that each one would be able to help protect and heal the people of this city.

She had gotten onto the back of Minerva so that any one they had to rescue could be saved by her dragonite, Socrates her fastest flier by far.]

I can take care of any injured but I think we should try and stay in the air, stopping any attacks before they even have a chance of hitting the ground and citizens. We need to act a shield but we have the advantage of being able to move.

Everyone within sight, Please come to me. It's hard to explain, but I have an ability to sense incoming danger, so if I tell you do something, it's because the waves are telling me it'll take you out of harm's way.

[Sinbad takes a moment to breathe and clear his head, it's harder to read the waves with the chatter going on thanks to the sudden telepathy, but he'll have to make sure he can read it. He stops to look at Badr the Dragonite, Furfur the Growlith, and Forcalor the Rufflet]

Be ready for anything, and Badr - especially you, they might be Ice-type like the god.

Feliks has Rapidash + Gardevoir now, backup en route in the form of Beartic, Altaria, and Dragonair

[Who cares about harm's way? If Feliks did, he and his Rapidash would be making tracks away from the giant, rampaging beast.]

[He's a bit of a sight as he makes his way through the city -- thundering through the streets, dressed in a frilly, lacy, floor-length nightgown, his riding pants, and a winter coat (haphazardly pulled on under and over the nightgown, respectively), with his bedhead sticking up this way and that and a rather frazzled Gardevoir clinging to his back. He didn't bother finding socks or shoes, but does seem to have found the time to go and grab the sword Yuuna gave him a couple of months ago.]

[A guy needs to have priorities.]

Forget that -- has anyone seen her? Is she with the dragon, or what?

I'm...lacking in flight options, sadly. My best climber is in charge of creating escape tunnels far away from that Enlightened's Ice moves, as well.

[Saber does have with her her Escavalier and for some reason a tiny overleveled Litleo and a Castform, however. The Escavalier bows floridly to Rei, Ami, and Maka.]

Takuto was furious, but the Galactic Pretty Boy had a duty, and that duty was to defend the city. Clad in his Tau armor, he raised his hand to erect a barrier of psychic force around a tower full of people to protect it from the Dragon's onslaught.

Roger, dodger! Assault 2, Excellen here, I'll be your eyes in the skies, not like you can miss the big fellow.

[ He was an ugly thing, wasn't he? Oh well, the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and at this point she was something of a seasoned veteran when it came to fighting rampaging gods. As terrible as that sounded.

Her Octstan Launcher strapped to her back, she took to the air, Tadakatsu the Golurk following close behind. The two split, Golurk heading toward its flank, while Excellen looked for a good vantage point. ]

[ Floating by his side was the Citadelian shrine maiden, her gohei held out in defense. Throwing out a few talismans, they formed themselves in a large star array, spawning a shield of watery energy from each cardinal point. ]

[As with before, Kyosuke didn't have much time to think or be afraid, he charged in, blazing flames behind him and his Revolver Stake plunging at the dragon's flank]

Ahri had been in a state of personal turmoil ever since the talk with Sveta. So many things running through her mind about the history and the way she spoke her hate seethed words and somehow... It all made Ahri question her loyalties.

And yet, no matter how much she tried to bring herself to hate humans it just didn't feel right. And this, what was happening right now? This didn't feel right at all. So with Kid and Karthy at her side, she rushed into the heat of it to try and get as many people to safety as she could.

"Over here! This way! We have to get everyone to safety!"

Rhyperior, Salamence, Ninetales

[ This looks like as good a place as any to make a stand. Haruka circles around that tower on Uranus the Salamence, having left World Shaking the Rhyperior on the ground to receive orders via telepathy. Passion the Ninetales stands at Haruka's side, regal and poised. No one must ever know this is her first major battle.

Haruka closes her eyes, using Calm Mind. Maybe she's speaking to herself, maybe she's speaking to anybody who might have hitched a ride on this dragon with her. ] What happened in Glacier won't happen again.

[Rise closes her eyes and focuses. She wasn't able to Analyze a god before, but it can't hurt to try again. Be terrifying, maybe, but not hurt.]

My girls should be able to hit it from the ground. Watch out for Fairy-lasers up there.

Toyo, you're on defense, Himiko...let's hit it hard before it does too much damage, okay?

[Rise holds up her Warp Band and exposes the beautiful rainbow stone there. With a keening Psychic call, Himiko evolves into Mega Gardevoir, and immediately begins meditating to power itself up with Calm Mind]

[Toyo, for her part, begins her defensive maneuvers, setting up a Light Screen.]

[Like Rei, Maka was aware already that she was too furious to act rationally at the attack, and she needed to refocus herself. People that need protecting and the gods' blessing has done wonders for this.]

I can fly.

[Maka says this slowly, as if she's considering her words while she removes the cloak around her shoulders. As always, Stella the Meowstic is at her side, and they are joined by Hades the Houndoom, Wilbur the Emboar, Sally the Darumaka, and Baldwin the Golurk.]

Stella can fly too with her telekinesis, we can probably both use our power to help non-fliers. [Baldwin is obviously covered since it is a rocket golem.] My fire users can stave off the ice. I can bring down anybody in the buildings that's injured with Stella and Baldwin if needed, the evacuation people might have a tough time with taking anyone injured.

[Incandescent wings flare out once Maka's removed the cloak--they're no surprise to anybody in Union, she's used them before, but somehow they seem stronger and more solid than before.]

[Rei was the kind of calm that came shortly before a volcanic eruption. An ugly, outraged sort of calm that was masking a deep-seeded fury. This thing had attacked her home, the little world she called her own, and had the gall to go after citizens under her flock. The priestess in her was passed the point of berserk rage, and her heart was gripped instead by an icy wrath, filled with a deliberate desire to root out these people and destroy their works. Not them, but that which they sought to do. And that meant helping the people of Union, who they were so desperately trying to kill.]

I have you.

[Rei had a shortage of flying types herself, but a Mega-Evolved Charizard X had more than enough room on it. Chest heaving, Olympus Mons offered a claw to Saber.]

We need to move quickly. Deimos and Sarek can shield us, and Casius can carry the wounded. Ninetales Vale seems to be out of the direct line of fire, so maybe we should concentrate on getting people there?

[With her she has Olympus Mons the Charizard, Deimos the Gardevoir, Sarek the Beheeyem, Casius the Arcanine, and Athos the Lucario.]
