[The Old City is doubtlessly familiar to someone who works so closely with the Delvers. There are well delineated paths - at the start. From the entrance to about 300 meters down, anyone could safely walk along these trails.

It is dark, of course, but there are torches provided nearby. By the light of the torch, she is certain to see another print pointing further into the ruins.

It isn't long before she comes across a strange sight - a group of Magnemite float awkwardly to the side of the path, seemingly perturbed by something.]

[Ah the Old City, or what she'd like to call, her second home. Spending most of her life going in and out of this place, of course she knew it all like the back of her hand. Cynthia grabs one of the torches and immediately notices more prints.]

Hmm...

[Deeper she went. Not even bothering to think about the threat of something or someone attacking her. No. Her main focus were those prints. But she does stop to watch the awkward looking magnemites. What on earth has got them on edge?]

[They're flashing and shooting out arcs of electricity. They definitely seem to be nervous - it's hard to really tell what exactly about, but Cynthia can probably make an educated guess.

At her approach, one of them immediately flips out and sends an arc of lightning in her direction before skedaddling. It's not really a very strong attack.]

[Cynthia jumps out of the way as soon as she noticed the magnemite spark up. Lethal or not, she was in no mood to get shocked today. Only catching a glimpse of the pokemon as it rushes off to some other part of the area. But that's when she notices even more prints on the ground. They were the same as the ones she found earlier, and after she quickly got to her feet, she ran. The dragon was close, she could feel it.]

[Perhaps...

The prints lead her to a dead end and abruptly end. There are piles of rock strewn about this area, but it's sheer cliff on every other side.. It seems the trail has gone cold...]

[No this couldn't be it. Garchomp fly, yes. But this wasn't exactly the best area for one to just take off...right? Her friend wouldn't just lead her out here to take off once again. That wouldn't be like her.

Sighing, Cynthia take a seat on one of the rocks and takes a minute to plan her next move. There had to be something else.]

[The rocks will decide to shift the moment Cynthia sits down, sliding away and possibly landing her on her butt.

...Hidden by the rocks, in a sort of protective cage, there sits a bluish-red egg.

A last footprint can be seen next to it.]

[Right on her butt, and damn did it hurt. Sure falling on a nice carpeted floor would bother her. But damn those rocks were pointy. Lucky for her, no one witnessed that little blunder, and she could leave that area with her dignity in check.

But wait...what on earth was that thing she sat on? She sat on the floor for a bit. Just staring at the thing. Garchomp's last foot print was right there. So did that mean...? No. No way!

Cynthia pokes at the egg. Again and again like it was the most interesting thing in the world to her (which it was).]

[The egg twitches! It seems warm... It can't have been here too long, or some enterprising Pokemon would probably have taken it for a snack already.

Cynthia is free to take it if she wishes. Unfortunately, she won't find any more clues about her Garchomp friend no matter where she searches. It seems to have vanished.]
