Video/Action for the Business District
[Video]
Hey, everybody!
[A red-haired girl in her late teens, perhaps early twenties, is leaning towards the Warp Band -- she'd just made sure it was on -- and flashing a smile down at it. It's bright; it's also practiced, like any true saleswoman's would be. She's done this before.]
My name's Rose. You've probably never heard of us, but we're the Spearowfeathers. We're merchants from Caldera, and we decided that we couldn't let Junes have all the fun.
[She winks.]
...So come check us out! We've set our wagon up in the business district, and we're selling some stuff we brought from Caldera -- and from Glacier, too! If you've got any special requests, you can bring those in, too.
I can also help you with trading Pokemon. I'm really good at that.
[Action, a little while later...]
[...unfortunately, things aren't going quite as well as Rose hoped. The wagon is there, sure, but the Gogoat that was pulling it got away an hour ago -- and all of the running in the world just didn't catch up to it. One of the other Spearowfeathers had been training that particular Pokemon. That leaves their wagon tipped over.]
[And with a cracked wheel, which Rose is holding up, and stuff scattered throughout the street. Spearowfeathers -- wearing their tan trousers and blue vests -- are darting to and fro, picking up goods.]
I... guess this could be going worse.

He's in his normal clothes, what would be normal for him nowadays with a jacket that buttons up from the back with a scarf around him that trails down his backside to cover the hole left for his giant wings. The wings are folded around him, for extra warmth. Surveying the damage, and the small chaos, there's a part of him that laughs and is glad for this little accident, and a part of him that feels bad.]
Man, that's a serious stroke of bad luck. What happened?
[action] WAL-MART GREETERS
Oh, just the usual in our line of business. Escaped Gogoat, then we popped an axle, and then the wheel fell off. But, don't worry, we'll get it fixed and--
[It cracks in half in her hands.]
...Oh, damn it!
DO YOU UNDERPAY THEM THEY DON'T GET UNDERPAID AT JUNES
No offense or anything, but I don't think that's a good start to a business. People aren't going to take you seriously...
[He teases her.]
Th-they get benefits!! And a positive company culture!
They're absolutely gonna take us seriously, just so you know. The Spearowfeathers mean business!
And what would you know, anyways?
there's no way i'm believing that hahaha
best part: they're also secret assassins
SO ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME THAT BOTH OF YOUR CHARACTERS MIGHT KILL YOOSK

Another merchant? I'm just opening up shop here - so a little competition would be good.
[Then he straightens up]
Name's Sinbad - it's a pleasure to meet a fellow member of the profession.
[She smiles back. A little friendly competition never hurt anyone! ...wait.]
What kinda shop do you have? And what kinda stuff do you sell? I gotta know about the competition!
Re: [video]
[He waves a bit dismissively]
Right now we take specialty orders to and from all of Union's current trade partners and raw resources.

Action
The mess that is the Spearowfeather wagon is hard to miss, after all, and hardly the most auspicious start to a new venture. A pidove hops along side her, a musical whistle given in query - why did we stop? ]
Oh dear, that is unfortunate.
no subject
[She looks up when she hears the voice; she glances at Sophia, then she sighs.]
Tell me about it! What can you do, though? Oh--if you're here to buy you something, we can... probably... find it.
no subject
The sigh brings Sophia's attention to Rose proper. She recognises the girl from the video, certainly, and though she doesn't outright smile, she does relax a bit. The pidove warbles generously at Rose, hopping towards her and bouncing about at her feet as he releases his latest little ditty - the Union national anthem. That he just made up. ~Piiiiiiiiid~ o/' ]
[paying no heed to her bird] Set things right, I suppose, which I can see your group already are. Not too much produced damaged, I hope?
As for buying.. Well, that may depend on what you have on sale.

... Unfortunately for him, he's got two cats that don't particularly care that Geo isn't inclined to investigate. His Espurr is wandering over to the nearest of the Spearowfeathers, picking up one of the goods and lifting it for them to take, while his Purrloin is scampering over towards the wagon.]
S-Saiph, get back here!
[action]
[Rose, conversely, spots the Purrloin. She blinks, before she starts walking over. She looks down at the Purrloin, then up at Geo.]
Hey! This one yours?
[action]
[Saiph's scampering back over to Geo, winding between his legs and trying to nudge him forward. Geo stumbles a bit, then gets a look at the wheel Rose is holding.] Um... Do you need some help?

[Rose puts down her wheel in a pile, then walks over, extending a hand out.] I'm Rose. These are the Spearowfeathers! We're merchants.

[He grinned, shaking her hand in return.]
