Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

Well, you can't spend all day trying not to stare at one of your best friends in a bathing suit anyway, right? Or suspiciously eyeing the boy who is watching your ex fiancé a bit too closely. So to clear his head - and to get some time away from being mercilessly teased by Yuui - Fai detours away from the beach.

And well, there is an ulterior motive to it. After all, the climate here is quite different from what he's used to, so it would make sense if there are different kinds of pokémon here, as well. Babycakes seems quite at home, flitting around the trees, and Woolly seems to have discovered some kind of fruit that he likes.

It seems like a perfect place to study pokémon in their natural habitat, if nothing else.

[As Fai and company travel through this tropical paradise, they come across a bit of spongy ground. It appears as if the island must have had some significant amount of rainfall recently. More interesting still is that there appears to be something sticking out of the ground there. Were those a few blades of bright blue grass?]

[Well, that sure is interesting. His first impulse is of course to reach out and touch, but he stops himself, tilting his head to one side. After all, it could be something poisonous, with such bright blue colours displayed. And Fai is capable of a lot more sense than one would expect from someone walking around in a flimsy wrap dress in a swamp.]

[Something lands on his head and drops to the ground beside him. He looks up to find Woolly flapping around there, wearing his customary huge grin. The item turns out to be a slim branch with a berry still attached to one end. Well, that certainly seems more sensible, so he politely thanks his pokémon and picks up the branch, and then reaches it out to gingerly touch the blue plant-like things.]

[The blue blades of grass twitch inquisitively when they feel something close. WHAT IS THIS THING? Slowly it sticks an equally blue nose (if one could call it that) out of the spongy ground, and with it, a small gray face pokes out.

Two very small eyes blink. Food? Food, what are you doing floating above its head? Silly food, you're not supposed to float.]
