Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek
An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.
The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.
This truly was a paradise.

Open!
But the point was, he had someone there to hand him the clothes he'd been staring longingly at, all but drag him into a dressing room, gush about how great he looked until he really had no choice but to get them, and come out in public with him dressed just as scandalously, and ancient gods, everything about it was awesome!
Especially the way his legs looked right now. Hell yeah.
He was dressed in a relatively modest one-piece swimsuit, sleeveless, with a low back and a little ruffled skirt attached. The ruffles and straps, as well as the neckline, were white, and the body of the suit a vivid red. Somewhere around the beach, he'd found a flower of about the same shade and stuck it in his hair. His feet were bare in the pale, warm sand, and he had a smile on his face and a girly-ass cocktail in hand.
Yes, this was exactly what he'd been needing today.

"Is it comfortable?
no subject
"Totally! It's like, way stretchy, it doesn't feel tight at all."

He smiles, draping his baby Dratini's long, thin body over his legs so she can nap there without getting all sandy. "Thanks for the advice about food and junk, by the way."

"Yeah, her name's Huzar. She's way pretty, isn't she?"
Someone spoils the Hell out of his Pokémon, and he's even worse with her than usual.

Sorry for the crazy-late tag ;;;
/tags before unconciousness takes me once more
His own simple but elegant black bathing suit suddenly felt a lot more revealing than it had a moment ago, and not in an entirely good way. More like in a really awkward way. Oh, well, of course the best course of action was clearly to-
"Oh dear, you should've been paying attention~!"
Yes, pouncing on Feliks and landing them both in the water with a huge splash. What an amazing plan. Good job.
/shoos you gently into bed <3
The fruity drink ends up in the sand somewhere--Fai, that was a perfectly good drink! --and Feliks ends up in the water, flailing for a second until he can find his footing. His hair's a little damp, but at least the flower is still there.
"Dude, no fair, you surprised me!" But he's laughing, as he splashes water at the other boy.

At least the water is a bit cool, and has soaked into his own bathing suit, counteracting the trouble that it, too, now being slicked against his skin might've presented.
"We~ell, that's the point, right? I was testing to see how vigilant you were. What if I'd been a wild pokémon, huh?"
no subject
Which is what he does; thankfully for Fai's predicament, he tries to do so by circling around behind him and leaping on his back.
no subject
"Fool! Don't you know I'm destined to be the personification of a Whirlwind one day~?"
no subject
He laughs hard, winding his arms and legs around the other boy, pressing his face into his back. "I'm just gonna have to hold on really tight, then!"

At least Feliks was wearing something. Adjusting his hat for a moment, he clears his throat. "Incidentally, you don't have a spare towel, do you?" At this point, he didn't even care who saw him now, he just wanted something between him and the sand when he was sitting down.
no subject
Oh.
Oh, wow, that's. That's. That's a thing he just saw? He goes bright pink, mouth open slightly, unable to avoid staring and stammering for a couple of seconds.
"I... uh... L-like... Towel...?" It takes him a second to notice that the last sentence he heard meant something. "Oh--yeah, I like, have one somewhere, w-wait a sec..."
He puts down his big bag of stuff, leaning down to dig through it. Hat, baby Pokémon food, crappy books, Feliks food, parasol... Oh, there it is! He takes out a towel and offers it to Red, still trying to not stare.

Though he isn't sure why just yet. It occurs that perhaps not everyone on the beach has seen him yet, Feliks may be one of them. The thought is gone just as quickly as he looks up in time to see a cloud that looks vaguely like a Spearow drift by overhead.
The word towel catches him from cloud-watching though and he nods. When Feliks moves to rummage in his rather large bag, Red takes a moment to consider that yes, Feliks might be a boy. Who knew another guy could look so nice in ladies' swimwear? unbothered by the revelation, he takes the towel with a smile, having to whip it behind his back as a flapping Pidgey goes by, and lands on the ground. Red points at it authoritatively. "Nike, this isn't mine, you can't take it. Understand?"
Staring a Red a few seconds, she puffs up before going to grooming. About as close to a yes as he'll get for today. "Dunno what it is about this island but she's just being terrible today..." That's said absently as Red stretches out the towel and sits down with a sigh.
"Thanks. I haven't been able to sit down since I got here."
no subject
"Sure, no big. Do you like, usually have issues with her trying to mess with stuff?"
Forget fighting Team Evolution, he deserves a medal for making full sentences with a naked stranger just like hanging out there.

Despite Feliks' being ready to pop a vessel in his face, Red hasn't noticed currently petting said Pidgey while it cooes happily at his feet. A Charmander comes up after a few seconds and immediately puts Red between Feliks and himself, though he quickly starts picking at the towel and peeks around Red to look a few times.
"Oh, hey Abby," Red glances over his shoulder and deposits his hat onto the Charmander's head, which seems to help because Abby comes around him finally, adjusting the hat so it sits low over his eyes. "This is my only other Pokemon, Feliks. Abelard. Though for now I just call him Abby." He looks up at the other noy with a smile, and tilts his head. "You may need a hat."
no subject
He perks up at the introduction, relaxing a little. Pokémon are much easier to deal with than naked boys!
"Hey, Abby, 'sup? This is Huzar, my other friends are off someplace else." Jadwiga has been a little shy since the tournament, and Feliks understands why on a very personal level. Still, there's an adorable baby Dratini draped around his shoulders, making little sounds at Red in greeting, so it's hard to be very upset with life right now.
