[On Fuuka's end, there appears to be some mumbling as her Espurr only gave her a sigh.] Um...are you sure this is a good idea? I never done anything quite like this before, it doesn't seem right to just ask. [Of course, as it was Fuuka's turn to sigh, her pokemon only just gave her a glare]

Well, I suppose it's too late now. [And as she gave another mumble once more, her voice quickly turned cheerful despite how nervous she sounds] Um, h-hello, my name is Fuuka Yamagishi and it's really nice to meet you all! I apologize if I'm being rude but would anyone tell me which places are the best to train pokemon?

I'm afraid I'm new at this?

[And maybe it'll be a good distraction too]

I go outside of Union for that. [Even if he doesn't want to half the time.] They just kinda train with each other.

I see, I didn't know that! But it shouldn't be that difficult to train right? From what I seen, it looks kind of simple and yet...

Ah...t-then, I suppose it's not that great of a place to train? It sounds like it would be difficult for my Espurr though!

[Nevermind the creepy stare her pokemon was giving her from that bit of information]

Well, you know the safest places to train are either with friends, or out in the forest. It's better if you go with someone the first few times though, until you're comfortable with that sort of thing.

[In other words: She's speaking from experience. That first trip just...outside the walls...wasn't all that long ago, and it was pretty scary.]

Then would it be too much trouble to a-ask if you're willing to go with me? I'm afraid that I don't know anyone who might help me out with training!

[That and it seems a little awkward to go out training by herself anyway]

Trouble? [Yukiko blinks a little at the request. That's not what she'd expected but this girl? Fuuka? Reminded her a lot of herself already. The earnestness of it...and that Espurr...coupled with her own drive to help people? Makes that answer easy.]

That's no trouble at all. I was just going to take Ganesha out for a little training this afternoon in fact, if you would like to accompany us.

[Somehow, Fuuka was half expecting Yukiko to say no to her request. Which was why, she was fully prepared to respond with...

...Hey, wait a minute!]

Oh, you wouldn't mind? Then that's perfect! Thank you, miss, I hope that my Espurr and I can help Ganesha train as well!

It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Fuuka. My name is Pearl Fey. [ the voice is young, but strangely refined, and full of genuine warmth. ] I have always favoured the shrine in the forest for my own training, but I think that the place that is best for you would depend on where you would feel most comfortable, right?

[windyflower]

[For a moment, Fuuka was rather surprised to hear such a young voice. But then again, she had seen a young boy a while ago.]

Then it's nice to meet you as well, Pearl! But I think I'm willing to try anything at this point and especially when everyone keeps saying it's dangerous wherever you go!

[pearltergeist]

[ she laughs good-naturedly. ]

Well, I suppose that it's true that there is danger in most places! But I would think that the forest around Union is ideal for beginners. Or if you wanted guidance from other trainers inside the city, maybe you could try the arena in Versus?

[windyflower]

I heard that the forest was dangerous if you don't have someone with you? Of course, I never tried it myself but I don't think it's worth the risk.

[She mumbled to herself]

But I never heard about the arena before! Perhaps I can find someone who would be willing to train me there! It just seems like a lot so much at once!

...Around here?

[Cliff paused, making a small and oddly thoughtful sound.]

You know what? I have absolutely no clue. If we were out by Caldera I'd show you a few spots, though.

[And then there was silence on her end before a small sigh was heard. Although, there was a smile on her end]

Then if we were out by Caldera, where would we go? [Pause] Um, just in case if I ever go out there.

[The girl earned a warm smile in return.]

There's a little dojo on the outskirts of town that I trained at a lot as a kid, and there's always something going down on the streets-- but, unless you're good at fighting, the second one's not gonna be much help for you to start in.

For the pokemon, there's a few spots in the mountains that were cool, both for training and exploring. All depends on your taste, really.

...What sort of training were you looking to do?

Then it sounds like it's a nice place to train! Although, I'm afraid that I don't really know how to fight...

[With that, she pondered trying to find an answer but there was only one that popped into her mind]

To be quite honest? I'm not really sure myself! All I know is that I just want to train my Espurr stronger than she is now! So I suppose something along the lines of battling?

[Have a friendly looking hippie who looks a little like a dragon. He smiles in what he hopes is a reassuring way! He's not really intimidating, he promises.]

There are a few good places. Near the city is a good place to start. There are a number of small shrines in the forest that I would also recommend. They're spacious and provide a good place to rest when you're tired.

[Meanwhile, here Fuuka was blinking at him before chuckling to herself. Intimidating or not, she couldn't help but smile right back!]

Goodness, here I thought that I might have to travel outside of the Union to train my Espurr! It seems a lot easier compared to what I have read in the library!

[He shakes his head.]

While the forest is a really nice place to train, I know of a few places inside the city that are also fine. I live at the Hikawa Shrine as well, and I'm certain my cousin would not mind if you wanted to use the courtyard.

Given that your pokemon is a psychic type, the shrine might be a really good idea.

[As Fuuka gave a pensive look, she immediately looked back at her Espurr before looking back at the strange young man.]

You sure about that? I certainly don't want to be rude and take courtyard when you cousin is running it! It just seems strange and especially in a shrine!

[Rise's feeling both whimsical and helpful today.]

The best places to train really depend on how strong your Pokémon are and what you want to train them to do. If you're talking about fighting and learning new moves like most people, and you're just starting out, taking them out into the Forest and letting them tackle a few wild Pokémon always works well for me.

I have thought about that but most people have told me that the forest was dangerous when you're alone. And especially when my Espurr is only around level 10!

[But then, she narrowed her eyes a little before speaking up]

Um, excuse me, miss, I hope I'm not being rude but...your voice sounds familiar. Have we met somewhere before?

Hm...well, I used to be on the radio a lot, if the name "Risette" means anything? In the last year and a half I've done some stage-acting too.

[Then there was an audible gasp from Fuuka! Quick, do something, you're talking to someone famous! What can she do? Uh, uh....!!]

Ah, I knew it! No wonder why your voice sounded so familiar! I apologize, I didn't mean to be so rude! If I had known who were earlier, I wouldn't have spoken so casually!
