[On Fuuka's end, there appears to be some mumbling as her Espurr only gave her a sigh.] Um...are you sure this is a good idea? I never done anything quite like this before, it doesn't seem right to just ask. [Of course, as it was Fuuka's turn to sigh, her pokemon only just gave her a glare]

Well, I suppose it's too late now. [And as she gave another mumble once more, her voice quickly turned cheerful despite how nervous she sounds] Um, h-hello, my name is Fuuka Yamagishi and it's really nice to meet you all! I apologize if I'm being rude but would anyone tell me which places are the best to train pokemon?

I'm afraid I'm new at this?

[And maybe it'll be a good distraction too]

Trouble? [Yukiko blinks a little at the request. That's not what she'd expected but this girl? Fuuka? Reminded her a lot of herself already. The earnestness of it...and that Espurr...coupled with her own drive to help people? Makes that answer easy.]

That's no trouble at all. I was just going to take Ganesha out for a little training this afternoon in fact, if you would like to accompany us.

[Somehow, Fuuka was half expecting Yukiko to say no to her request. Which was why, she was fully prepared to respond with...

...Hey, wait a minute!]

Oh, you wouldn't mind? Then that's perfect! Thank you, miss, I hope that my Espurr and I can help Ganesha train as well!

I don't mind at all.

[Yukiko smiles faintly, and at the sound of his name? A little Phanpy muscles up onto the feed, tapping the video-button with his trunk.]

And Yukiko. You can call me Yukiko. Fuuka, right?

Mhmm, that's right! It's nice to meet you as well, Yukiko!

[As she saw the little Phanpy in the corner, she couldn't help but give a chuckle]

Is there a time and place I should meet up with you or...?

[frozenflame]

Well, how about the southern gate in...an hour? Is that enough time?

[Ganesha wiggles his trunk, impatient to get started!]

[windyflower]

Thats plenty of time to me! Although I don't think Espurr can wait any longer!

[And if Yukiko heard closely enough, she can hear the sounds of her Pokemon giggling]

But I'll see you then!

[Wnd just like that, she was ready to go! However, there was another problem that remains. Just what was she going to do for an hour?]</small-)

[She has indeed. And an hour later, Yukiko...accompanied by two Pokemon...is waiting at the southern gate. The happy little Phanpy and a Solrock, silently floating there like a stern and silent sentinel.]

Fuuka! There you are! Are you all ready?

[windyflower]

[As they came closer to her, both Fuuka and her Espurr felt slightly intimidated. When you're training with someone who has more experience than you, who wouldn't be?]

Y-yes, I am! My Espurr and I are ready for training! I'm ready whenever you are!

[and her Espurr only have a hand out in an attempt to greet one of the Pokemon! Will it go well?]

[frozenflame]

Okay, then let's go!

[It absolutely goes well, Phanpy taking the hand and shaking it with his trunk ]

It's okay, too, most everything in the forest is weak to my typing, so we'll be just fine.

[windyflower]

[Fuuka didn't bother to say another word.

As her Espurr made a happy sound from getting to know Phanpy, she quickly went straight for the forest!]

Ah, wait up, you can't go there yet! We need to wait for Yukiko and the others!

[frozenflame]

[Yukiko laughs and taps Ganesha on the shoulder, letting the little elephant run along after Espurr.]

It's okay. The worst that'll happen is she'll trip over a Weedle and get stung. I'm a healer, so she'll be fine. And besides, Ganesha will keep an eye on her.

[windyflower]

[But the Espurr didn't listen. Instead, she continued to roam toward the forest with her arms wide open not caring what her master or Phanpy think of her!]

Y-You sure? The last thing I would want is for her to faint in the middle of the forest...

[frozenflame]

It'll be fine.

[Seriously. Yukiko ambles along happily while Ganesha plods along happily after the little cat. He's not that much larger, but he does have some experience at least.]

Trust me. Really. Even if he does faint, I'll fix him up right as rain in no time. I promise.

[windyflower]

You sure?

[Suddenly, she was starting to have regrets about becoming a trainer. But she had a deal with her parents, she needed to keep this up for a year or else...]

Then, when he does, I'll have to find someway to thank you Yukiko! It's the least I can do for helping the both of us out!

[frozenflame]

Oh, don't worry about that.

[Yukiko laughs, walking along and holding her head in her hands.]

Think of it as me paying something forward. People helped me when I first started out, and I think it's only fair I help you out too.

Besides, I was going this way anyway.

[windyflower]

[Fuuka gave a mumble as she looked back at the ground before looking back at her new friend]

Then I hope that I'll eventually be able to meet someone who was just like me! But I must admit, it will be kind of strange!

To think that I would teach someone who was starting to become a trainer...

[frozenflame]

Well, when you learn how to manage it? It'll come to you. Don't worry.

[A hand shifts, palm up and held out for Fuuka to take if she'd like.]

You really don't have to worry. Training isn't as scary as it seems at first.

[As Fuuka took Yukiko's hand, she smiled to herself]

Then mind if I ask what is the first thing we do in training? I know that we’ll have to eventually battle a few other pokemon but...I’m ready for it whenever that happens!

So um...just tell me what I need to do first?

[frozenflame]

[Yukiko squeezed Fuuka's hand gently and tugged her ahead just a bit.]

The first thing you really have to do? Is let your Pokemon get a feel for how it's powers work. I'm going to have Ganesha learn to move an old stump today, and then toss it and break it if he can.

Maybe you could have your Espurr move leaves around with her powers? To learn control.

Oh, that seems a little easier than I thought! Then I'll have to give it a try!

[As she moved forward, she immediately smiled at her pokemon.!]

You think you can move the leaves around with your power?

[When her pokemon gave a nod before picking a nearby leave. Of course, before she even did anything. She just stared right back at her new friends.

The pressure!!]

[Yukiko watches the kitten with a half smile before taking a seat on the ground in front of her.]

It's okay, little one. See if you can pick up a few with your mind. I know Espurr have very strong psychic powers. Why don't you show your trainer, hmm?

[windyflower]

[The Pokemon wasn't sure what to do. Just like her trainer, she too spent most of her life away from other people and found herself looking at said piece of leaf.

Still, with so many others just looking at her, she felt bad for being so afraid. With a deep breath, she closed her eyes and focused on the leaf before her.

Although, it was clear that she had no idea what she was doing but...hopefully it was making said leaf float to the air!]

[frozenflame]

[It...is actually working. The leaf lifts up just a bit under all the concentrated mental pressure. It drifts up a bit a few inches and just hovers there.]

Goodness! That's wonderful!

[windyflower]

[At the same time, Fuuka giggled as if she was trying to encourage her young pokemon to keep going! It was clear that she was proud her Espurr but as she walked closer?

That was also when her Pokemon was at her limit. Once Fuuka got close enough, the leaf slowly started to go straight back to the ground...as her Espurr immediately fell forward from all that energy she just wasted]

A-Ah...are you okay? You're not hurt are you?

[frozenflame]

[Yukiko looked down at the little kitten and smiled, reaching down with a hand that began to glow faintly. Restorative energy flowed from her into Espurr.]

She'll be fine.
