[On Fuuka's end, there appears to be some mumbling as her Espurr only gave her a sigh.] Um...are you sure this is a good idea? I never done anything quite like this before, it doesn't seem right to just ask. [Of course, as it was Fuuka's turn to sigh, her pokemon only just gave her a glare]

Well, I suppose it's too late now. [And as she gave another mumble once more, her voice quickly turned cheerful despite how nervous she sounds] Um, h-hello, my name is Fuuka Yamagishi and it's really nice to meet you all! I apologize if I'm being rude but would anyone tell me which places are the best to train pokemon?

I'm afraid I'm new at this?

[And maybe it'll be a good distraction too]

Oh, that seems a little easier than I thought! Then I'll have to give it a try!

[As she moved forward, she immediately smiled at her pokemon.!]

You think you can move the leaves around with your power?

[When her pokemon gave a nod before picking a nearby leave. Of course, before she even did anything. She just stared right back at her new friends.

[Yukiko watches the kitten with a half smile before taking a seat on the ground in front of her.]

It's okay, little one. See if you can pick up a few with your mind. I know Espurr have very strong psychic powers. Why don't you show your trainer, hmm?

[The Pokemon wasn't sure what to do. Just like her trainer, she too spent most of her life away from other people and found herself looking at said piece of leaf.

Still, with so many others just looking at her, she felt bad for being so afraid. With a deep breath, she closed her eyes and focused on the leaf before her.

Although, it was clear that she had no idea what she was doing but...hopefully it was making said leaf float to the air!]

[It...is actually working. The leaf lifts up just a bit under all the concentrated mental pressure. It drifts up a bit a few inches and just hovers there.]

Goodness! That's wonderful!

[At the same time, Fuuka giggled as if she was trying to encourage her young pokemon to keep going! It was clear that she was proud her Espurr but as she walked closer?

That was also when her Pokemon was at her limit. Once Fuuka got close enough, the leaf slowly started to go straight back to the ground...as her Espurr immediately fell forward from all that energy she just wasted]

A-Ah...are you okay? You're not hurt are you?

[frozenflame]

[Yukiko looked down at the little kitten and smiled, reaching down with a hand that began to glow faintly. Restorative energy flowed from her into Espurr.]

She'll be fine.

[As she let go of Yukiko's hand, her eyes were amazed at the power that was shown before her]

Goodness, i have heard about people with healing powers but...I don't think I ever seen someone healing a Pokemon in person before! It's definitely a lot more interesting to see it first hand!

[frozenflame]

[The dark haired girl stands up and raises her hands to the sky. A bit like this, as if she was praying to the sun...and the light around them intensifies. Everything seems clearer, the plants stronger, and everything that much brighter.]

I've...got some sort of connection to the sun. And I've been able to do things like that since I was fifteen or so. Heal people, especially when I'm in the light of the sun. Your Espurr will be just fine.

[Meanwhile, Fuuka merely blinked at her wondering what she was doing. Praying to the sun was one thing but that? ...Was kind of weird. Still, she had to cover her eyes from the blinding light before her]

But it's still amazing that you can do that! And I don't think a lot of people can do that either! It makes me kind of envious.

[And just like that, as soon as Yukiko was done healing, Espurr opened her eyes and just stared in awe at light around her! Almost as if she was looking at a goddess!]

Are you not Enlightened yourself?

[Yukiko is no goddess. She's just a simple knight girl blessed by the gods of the sun and sky.]

Well, no, I'm not. But I wish that I can become a good Engineer one day and hopefully make some good items for people to use here!

Or at least where people are happy to use them!

Oh, you're an Engineer? That's a really useful skill to have!

[Yukiko beams, because that's a service she'd actually pay to use...]

D'you know how to work with Evolution Stones at all?

I have heard of them but I don't think I have!

[Can you hear she was starting to panic just a bit?]

But perhaps if I read something about them, perhaps I can figure something out?

[Yukiko waves a hand, no panic no panic!]

Well, I tell you what. You research and make me a Sun Stone? And I'll teach your Espurr a secret move that I know. How does that sound? I'll even pay you for the materials on the stone, when you make it.

Oh! I wouldn't mind but thank you for um...helping me do all of that! But I must admit, it seems a little scary to know that I'll be venturing into this type of thing!

[As she shifted her weight a little, she started to mumble]

I-I hope I don't mess up!

I'm sure you'll be just fine.

[She smiles at the little kitten, and then her new friend.]

[And from there, Fuuka didn't know what to say back to her. Instead, she just stared at her in disbelief with her eyes wide open before she could even utter a word in]

[Almost as if she didn't even believe it]

[Yukiko nods cheerfully and dips her head.]

Yes, of course I do! I have no reason at all to doubt you.

[Which was why Fuuka didn't say anything. In fact, she just stared at the ground mumbling to herself.]

If you say so. I just….I really do need a lot more confidence in myself don’t I?

[As she chuckled, her Pokemon just raised an eyebrow before giving her trainer a pout]

[She reaches down and pokes the little Espurr in the belly.]

Believe in her, who believes in you. Who believes in her.

[Okay, Fuuka had to chuckle a bit as her Espurr giggle from being poked]

That's quite an interesting way of saying it! I don't think I ever heard a quote like that before! It's rather...gripping, I shall say!

I read it in a comic book, so it's probably a little silly. But it fits!

[As her Espurr gave a cheerful reply, Fuuka picked up her Pokemon as she gave her a hug]

No, I don't think it sounds silly at all! [Pause] Well, I suppose it does but it still sounds nice! I wish I could make a quote like that!

[She grins and looks to the little fuzzball]

Oh, that's because I never given her a name!

[And then, she shifts a little] To be honest, I always just called her Espurr all this time!
