W-W-Wait!! Not so fast! Slow down! I-I'm gonna fall off!

[ It's a little hard to see given the up and down motion, but it's pretty clear Maki is not on her own two feet. Instead, she's riding the green-back of a Skiddo, her first Pokemon that she actually bonded with on her own that wasn't from an egg. She somehow got convinced to let him take her for a ride, but she had no idea just how intense it would be for a girl who was more used to proper tea parties and fancy ballroom dances. ]

L-Look out! I can't stop--!!

[ And so the video cuts off as Maki and her Skiddo suddenly find themselves crashing into a cart full of fruit, breaking apart the wooden cart with a deafening crack! ]

[ Maki and her Skiddo are going to be crashing around the city, a cat atop of a goat. She's trying to get a hang of riding one, but it's not going well. Her Skiddo prefers to charge at things in his path, rather than go around. Because apparently that's no fun.

At the same time she has a reason for being out on her Skiddo, planning on trying to learn how to ride it so she can go see Nozomi to speak about certain...personal problems. ]

but Haruka still knows how to handle these things. She watches just long enough to get a sense of the situation, hides a smile, and strides out into the street.

You know, directly into the Skiddo's path.

She's got her Warp Band out, but hey goat. What are you going to do? ] That's not a Rhyhorn, Skitty.

B-Be careful!

[ Maki has barely any control over her Skiddo, but when she see's someone in front of her, someone she recognizes pretty well too, she can't let Haruka get hurt. So she pulled hard on the Pokemon's main, which actually made her stop. The only problem was that Maki wasn't so steady on the Skiddo's back. ]

Ahh! [ ...And so it was just Maki that was sent flying at Haruka, all 5 foot nothing and barely a hundred pounds or so at her. ]

Whoa - [ ...wow, is Haruka glad she hadn't proceeded to the "summon Rhyperior" step of her plan yet. Instead she'll take a step back, bend her knees, and catch the flying girl, letting her gently down to the ground afterwards. She'll keep one hand on the small of Maki's back and one hand holding onto her hand, though. After a trip like that Maki might need time to steady herself! ]

[And the one time Maki crashes completely off the skiddo to the point the ride has to stop, guess who it's in front of?

If you guessed the girl staring down with disbelief (and maybe disdain) at her, then you're right.]

[ Laying on her back, breathing heavily, Maki doesn't expect to see that face looking down at her. She really thought she was doing well! But as well as she was doing, she knew there would be plenty for Nico to criticize her for. ]

Y-You could at least help me up instead of just judging me!

[Nico just tosses her head a bit, but she does bend over and reach down to help her up]

[A golden-eyed Zorua strolls through the streets, accompanied by a Ninjask. For once, the two aren't concerned with mapping out the area — or really much of anything. They're just wandering the city in a rare moment of peace.

A moment that is summarily ruined by the Skiddo hurtling down the road. The two Pokémon both dart out of the way just in time to avoid being rammed, but while Konoe is content to watch the young goat and its Trainer dash away with a slightly bemused look, Chika isn't so forgiving and buzzes angrily after them.]

«Hey! Watch where you're going!»

I-I'm sorry!

[ She's calling back, holding on for dear life as her Skiddo runs along, obviously enjoying himself, having fun taking his partner around for a ride in the city. He really doesn't seem to understand just how much she's not actually liking it. If Maki only knew how to say no... ]

It's not my fault! I can't really control him!

[Huh. Chika didn't actually expect to be understood by a human; that's only ever happened with her Trainer before. She quickly pursues the wayward pair, Konoe somewhat reluctantly following her in turn. Given that Ninjask is the single fastest Pokémon that isn't a shapeshifting space virus in existence, she has no problem catching up, at which point she poses the obvious question.]

Kyaaaah!

[Estelle wasn't watching the network, so she didn't see the warning about the charging Skiddo with Maki on it. So she sees her as the Skiddo rounds a corner, and her eyes go wide. She yelps and... tries to outrun it, rather than dive to the side.]

I DON'T HAVE ANY FOOD FOR YOU, SKIDDO!

[She just assumes Maki's Skiddo is hungry because what's common sense, where can it be purchased?]

G-Get out of the way! You're going to get run over!!

[ Maki tries her best to warn the other girl, but she's...running in the same direction as her Skiddo...but the Pokemon seems to be faster. Which only leaves Maki worrying more that she's going to hurt some innocent girl and have to explain to her parents and the authorities what happened. ]

W-Why's it chasing me, though!

[Estelle wails while she runs. The looming shadow of the Skiddo, though, suggests that Maki is right: she's gonna get run over. Which is why she jumps! She laughs, going airborne, and being a physically enhanced Enlightened, she jumps high.]

[...maybe a little too high...]

[...such that the Skiddo runs under her, and she lands on its back behind Maki, immediately flailing her arms and wailing.]

THAT DIDN'T WORK HOW I WANTED IT TO AT ALL!

[Maybe they're just fated to continue running into each other. Nozomi can be found away her shop for once, standing outside the divine theater. Bundled up from head to toe, she hears the two before she sees them, jumping back and out of the way.

Wait, wasn't that--]

M-Makki?!

[ Maki would not want to believe that it's so fateful, but what does she know. She hardly wanted to believe in Nozomi or Rei's predictions. But here she is, after Maki had told herself that EVENTUALLY she would go and find Nozomi, she just happens to run into her when she wasn't looking for her. Maybe her Skiddo just knew what she wanted and couldn't admit. ]

I-I'm sorry!

[ Yelling as she's nearly tossed off the Skiddo's back, Maki holds on tight to the Pokemon, hugging it close. ]

Stop, stop, stop, stop!

[Maki very obviously needed help so, raising her warp band, Nozomi summoned the first pokemon that she could think of.]

Ishtar!

[The Miltank appeared in their path and stood her ground, ready to hold the Skiddo in place if she had to.]

[What a beautiful day. Noire has recently befriended a Murkrow, and while it's a prankster, it's still very friendly. She's holding it in her arms, stroking its pretty feathers. What a nice bird. Duskull is floating around nearby, and all is peaceful, all is calm...

... and then she hears very very very loud and fast footsteps. Cue her finally looking up.]

... Huh?

L-Look ouuuuut!

[ Maki is not having a good day. This was supposed to be a small ride around the block, her Skiddo had promised. It was her first time riding him, and she wanted to do it because he wouldn't stop asking. And then he started to run, and this is how it ended up, with Maki barrelling towards Noire, unable to stop or control her mount. ]

[Rei's out for a nice afternoon stroll, wandering along the streets with Casius and Ravi, when all of a sudden the Natu chirps a sharp warning and Rei dives to one side in time to dodge a Skiddo. Thank goodness for a plethora of psychic types.]

Maki-chan?!

I-I tried to make him stop!

[ Maki calls back as her Pokemon skids and turns back to face Rei, jumping up and down, obviously enjoying himself. ]

Wait, stop, don't!

[ And he's coming back again for another run! ]

[Look out, Maki, it's a Deerling in headlights!

Oh, wait, no, it's just Hanayo. But the resemblance is uncanny.]

[ She better watch out because apparently Maki's Skiddo thinks its fun to run at people! ]

[ It's hard to talk and ride at the same time, but she needs help! The background just seems to be whizzing by as her Skiddo run, obviously enjoying himself. ]

H-Honoka! I can't control him, he just keeps running!!

[And they crash around the city right on by a tree that Ankh has settled himself in because that's what he do, and it takes him a spell to recognize Maki as the tsun girl from the gaggle of singing and dancing girls in front of Hikawa Shrine.]

[He possibly watches them run into the fruit cart mentioned in the video segment of her post, and can't help but chuckle, clapping his hands together as he hops down from his tree and approaches.]

[ Maki's Skiddo makes a mess, which leaves Maki on her back on the group, world still spinning a little, when she notices someone standing over her. She recognizes him from the shrine, perhaps not by name. But right now, she kind of wishes no one at all just saw that. ]
