W-W-Wait!! Not so fast! Slow down! I-I'm gonna fall off!

[ It's a little hard to see given the up and down motion, but it's pretty clear Maki is not on her own two feet. Instead, she's riding the green-back of a Skiddo, her first Pokemon that she actually bonded with on her own that wasn't from an egg. She somehow got convinced to let him take her for a ride, but she had no idea just how intense it would be for a girl who was more used to proper tea parties and fancy ballroom dances. ]

L-Look out! I can't stop--!!

[ And so the video cuts off as Maki and her Skiddo suddenly find themselves crashing into a cart full of fruit, breaking apart the wooden cart with a deafening crack! ]

[ Maki and her Skiddo are going to be crashing around the city, a cat atop of a goat. She's trying to get a hang of riding one, but it's not going well. Her Skiddo prefers to charge at things in his path, rather than go around. Because apparently that's no fun.

At the same time she has a reason for being out on her Skiddo, planning on trying to learn how to ride it so she can go see Nozomi to speak about certain...personal problems. ]

[ From how Noire had looked moments ago, Maki is pretty happy herself that she didn't get hurt. ]

I've never seen a Duskull before.. [ She's barely even heard of most Pokemon, seeing how she actively ignored anything ot do with them for years. ]

[Murkrow, being called, just... slowly walks over. Taking her time. She was as scared as maki was tbh.]

Ah, well he's a little...scary looking I guess...

[ Sorry, Maki is just a scaredy cat, literally. She has a bigger problem with bugs, but ghost types do put her off a little. When she sees the Murkrow though she brighten a little. ]

My friend... She has a Murkrow too. I'm pretty used to seeing one around all the time. [ She's just going to say hello to the little bird, waving at her. ]

[Murkrow feels a little safer, and manages to hop on over.]

Really? I think Crux looks kind of cute....

[But she's willing to move along with the conversation.]

I-I just found her in the forest a while ago... To be honest, I'm trying to break her of some bad habits.

[ Sorry, ghosts just aren't Maki's favorites. But she's gotten to know her friend's Murkrow well, and so she kneels down a little to extend her hand out to it. She may be a Purrloin shifter, but she hopes that doesn't keep the bird away.

Her Skiddo though is going to sniff around Noire and her Duskull, the puppy/goat that he is. ]

... She likes to ring people's doorbells and then fly away. She thinks it's funny... I've had to apologize to so many people.

[Whereas Murkrow puffs out her chest. Of course it's funny! She even pokes Maki's fingers with her beak, in a 'you get it, right' gesture.]

[ As a shifter, Maki has a little better understand of what Pokemon are saying than other people, focusing her eyes on the Murkrow. ]

You shouldn't do things like that! You'll get Noire in trouble!

[Murkrow pouts. Boooo! I thought you were cool, man! She haughtily turns her beak away.]

... I'm sure she'll understand sometime... But... thank you. I'll keep trying to make her behave... Just like you'll try with your friend there.

I have a friend who has a Murkrow, she's pretty well behaved. Maybe it would help to have them interact?

[ No, Maki is very much not cool. She follows the rules, and thinks they exist for a reason. She's a sheltered rich girl through and through. ]

[You mean a FUN influence, Murkrow ruffles her feathers.]
