W-W-Wait!! Not so fast! Slow down! I-I'm gonna fall off!

[ It's a little hard to see given the up and down motion, but it's pretty clear Maki is not on her own two feet. Instead, she's riding the green-back of a Skiddo, her first Pokemon that she actually bonded with on her own that wasn't from an egg. She somehow got convinced to let him take her for a ride, but she had no idea just how intense it would be for a girl who was more used to proper tea parties and fancy ballroom dances. ]

L-Look out! I can't stop--!!

[ And so the video cuts off as Maki and her Skiddo suddenly find themselves crashing into a cart full of fruit, breaking apart the wooden cart with a deafening crack! ]

[ Maki and her Skiddo are going to be crashing around the city, a cat atop of a goat. She's trying to get a hang of riding one, but it's not going well. Her Skiddo prefers to charge at things in his path, rather than go around. Because apparently that's no fun.

At the same time she has a reason for being out on her Skiddo, planning on trying to learn how to ride it so she can go see Nozomi to speak about certain...personal problems. ]

[ Her Gardevoir can do whatever it wants, because Maki's Skiddo is going to headbutt the other Pokemon for fun. Maki isn't going to do anything of the sort, reaching out to touch Hanayo's shoulder. ]

You sure? I'm sorry, my Skiddo is...still a little new to riding. [ And Maki is too, but she doesn't bother to say that she's never ridden anything. ]

[Oh. Oh no you did not. You did not just. Maki's Skiddo is now getting an earful, except it's mostly just a lot of bossy flailing. If Maki's paying attention, it probably looks pretty similar to Nico's behavior half the time.]

It's okay... nobody got hurt. I didn't know you bonded a Skiddo, though.

[ Maki wants to pay attention, but she's pretty sure her Skiddo deserves being taught a lesson or two. Sadly, the Skiddo just keeps asking the Gardevoir if she wants a ride. ]

Yeah, I...I just thought that maybe I could use another partner... Nico said there was no way I could find another Pokemon who would want to bond with me, so I wanted to show her up too, I guess..

That wasn't very nice of her to say. I think any Pokemon would be happy to be your friend, Maki.

That's because Nico is impossible to get along with.

[ Okay, maybe that's not exactly what Nico had said, but Maki had taken it as a challenge anyway, and now here she is. ]

B-But thanks Hanayo. I just have to figure out how to take care of him now..

Communicating with your Pokemon is the most important part.

[She's just going to ignore that stuff about Nico, since she isn't really sure how to respond anyway and doesn't want to get in the middle of two friends.]

He's just impossible to communicate with sometimes..

[ WHO SAYS THEY ARE FRIENDS? But Maki twirls her hair a little, sighing. ]

I guess you're right though. I just have to figure out how to talk with him better.

If you find out what kind of food he likes, it'll probably be easier.

He says he just likes grasses...

[ Maki knows nothing about the best types to feed a Pokemon, or where to get them though. ]

If that's all, then there's plenty of that in the habitat on the Grass type floor.

[ Maki looks down at her Skiddo. ] Do you want to go to the Grass floor in the habitat?

[ And his answer is an obvious yes, seeing how he jumps with Maki on him, nodding exaggeratedly. ]

H-Hold on a second... if we go there, will you promise not to crash into anything? [ He takes a moment to think it over and nods again, this time much more reserved. ]

I'll check in on him for you when I'm volunteering there, too.

It's not really a problem for me. I'll be there anyway.

Don't you have a lot of Pokemon to look after already?

If you're worried about it, I can always have Kururin keep an eye on him while she's there.
