[She figures not everyone knows her name (most probably don't) so here she is again, introducing herself-]

Hi everyone! I'm Honoka Kousaka, from Caldera! I came to Union a while ago, and I wasn't sure what I would find, but what I did find was...

Singing! And dancing! And that makes people happy! [Guess who's seen some shows and went to the charity concert.]

I'm not very good, but I've been practicing. I have a Jigglypuff who's been giving me lessons, and she scolds me sometimes for messing up, but I've been working hard! And maybe one day, a bunch of us can do the same thing together.

I want to know if anyone else likes to do that too!

Action:

[Honoka can be found out in Union in various places. Idol training is hard! And Jigglypuff is making her run. She looks worn out and is whining a little about it, but she's still trying.

Later, there's dance lessons...those are going alright, but then she's not exceptionally talented at it either. It's obvious if you happen across their path.

And at the end of the day, singing lessons, right outside too- and Honoka sounds okay, but that Swellow that's with them trying to sing along is horrific!]

Nozomi thinks she might have just found her Fool.]

Oh? I didn't know Honoka was interested in that kind of thing.

Well, I never really thought of it before I came to Union. But it seems like such a good idea!

You know, I bet you aren't the only one that thinks that way. I think I remember seeing some people performing during the whole Dream World thing.

[She's not going to mention that she was one of them, we'll just gloss over that fact.]

[Compared to Eri, it's pretty bad. She's clearly a beginner, with no prior experience in it. Jigglypuff is clapping her hands, and Honoka is really trying.

Sometimes she gets the moves right, sometimes she doesn't and messes up her whole body.]

[ Maki is sitting at her piano, with her dvice looking at her not quite as primp as usual, wearing a certain workout outfit. There might even be a cute little glass frog in the shot somewhere, definitely not intentional. ]

You want to learn how to sing? It's not something you can just play around with, it takes time and effort to learn how to reach notes, how to move and sing at the same time. It's not a game you know.

I know! That's why Crem is helping me out! [She points the Warp Band over to her Jigglypuff, who is currently fixing her little piece of hair fluff in front of a mirror on the other side of Honoka's current living space.]

But you're really good at it too Maki...

[She's getting an idea]

You need a real education and musical training. You have to understand how to hold long high notes, and how to train your voice for a while before you can really call yourself a vocalist.

[ Maki just goes on and on, as if she's trying to discourage Honoka...but that's not really what it's about at all. She just can't say what she really means.. ]

[That Swellow is bad enough that Nico's head, topped with a scarf to keep her hair back, pops out of a window. She's waving a ladle.]

Who's making all that racket!?

[Honoka stops to look up, but Swellow keeps going. He sure does love to sing, there's no doubt about it, but man.

He's awful. Enough to make even tone deaf people wanna rip their ears out.]

[Oh god IT'S SOMEONE SHE KNOWS.

She can't let her live find out. She quickly ducks back inside and tries to pretend nothing happened even though they clearly locked eyes for a good few seconds there.]

[Kotori stumbles on the other girl's idol activities in the middle of a shopping trip and, while an interesting sight, the brunette quickly understood that disturbing her hard work would simply throw her rhythm off worse than it seems to be on it's own.

Good luck, Honoka!

With a sweet yet silent encouragement for her friend she kept on her own way with her own duties in mind.]

[But by the time she is done with shopping Honoka doesn't even seem to be halfway through her dance lessons. Isn't that too much?... Kotori looks inside her shopping bags and takes out a berry juice bottle.]

Good afternoon, Honoka.

[She offers the bottle to the other girl. Time for a break, future idol!]

Kotori! [Breathing heavily from all that work, she gladly stops right in the middle of something to take the bottle. Jigglypuff bristles, protesting.]

But I'm thirsty and Kotori is here! Thank you so much! [And she takes a swig of the berry juice. It's delicious.] Did you just go shopping?

[unbalancedlove]

[She gives a sheepish smile to the annoyed Jifflypuff.]

It'll be a short break, promise.

[Kotori nods at her friend's comments and lifts one of the shopping bags in admission.]

Yup! I befriended a true glutton lately so I have to shop lots to keep up.

[Giggle.]

You are working really hard! Is a marathon coming up?

[Well it's after the second time Rei's seen Honoka trucking it up to the top of the shrine's steps that she starts to wait for the younger girl at the top. This time, instead of a krabby Kingler, though, the priestess just has a bottle of water, and a small green bird perched on her forehead.

Once Honoka reaches the top, she'll be offered the water bottle.]

Honoka-chan, what...exactly...is all this about? Are you preparing for a marathon?

[honokairo]

Haaaa.... haaaaa.... [She stops, takes the water bottle, and drinks from it.]

I... have to get into shape... so I can dance... ohhh, those stairs are so steep....

[faithfulflame]

Well you need to slow down, take a rest between sets. That's three I've counted, you know.

[She steps in the way, nodding towards the courtyard.]

Take a walk around the courtyard. Catch your breath. And tell me about this dancing?

Everything seems to be pushing her in just one direction. And now here's Honoka on the Warp Band network, asking if anyone else likes to sing and dance.

There's only one choice she can make.]

U-um, Honoka...

[But not like that. Remember your lessons, Hanayo!]

I want to sing and dance too! More than anything!

You do?! [Yes! She knew someone else would!]

That's great! Would you sing and dance with me?

[Umi's just out for a stroll with her newly evolved Gardevoir when she happens upon Honoka trying to dance. She's pretty sure it's supposed to be dancing, at least. Her Gardevoir looks pleased and claps with a little smile on her face.

Umi on the other hand.]

I take it this is something new?

[And speaking of new, Honoka might notice that Umi's skin and hair seem to glisten almost like they're wet.]

[At the sound of Umi's voice, Honoka messes up her dancing, almost tripping up over herself.]

Umi! It is, I'm practicing so I can dance and sing! [Is Umi wet...? She looks at her friend strangely. She can't tell.]

[It's the daily run of Rin and Bal and of course, they jog together in a fast pace. Of course when she finds another runner training along, she just has to make encouragements... Once she catches up to Honoka of course.]

Hey-nya~! Training hard too?

[Honoka, on the other hand, is not nearly as athletic and is having some problems.]

...Yes! I...need to build up my lungs...!
