[She figures not everyone knows her name (most probably don't) so here she is again, introducing herself-]

Hi everyone! I'm Honoka Kousaka, from Caldera! I came to Union a while ago, and I wasn't sure what I would find, but what I did find was...

Singing! And dancing! And that makes people happy! [Guess who's seen some shows and went to the charity concert.]

I'm not very good, but I've been practicing. I have a Jigglypuff who's been giving me lessons, and she scolds me sometimes for messing up, but I've been working hard! And maybe one day, a bunch of us can do the same thing together.

I want to know if anyone else likes to do that too!

Action:

[Honoka can be found out in Union in various places. Idol training is hard! And Jigglypuff is making her run. She looks worn out and is whining a little about it, but she's still trying.

Later, there's dance lessons...those are going alright, but then she's not exceptionally talented at it either. It's obvious if you happen across their path.

And at the end of the day, singing lessons, right outside too- and Honoka sounds okay, but that Swellow that's with them trying to sing along is horrific!]

[Well it's after the second time Rei's seen Honoka trucking it up to the top of the shrine's steps that she starts to wait for the younger girl at the top. This time, instead of a krabby Kingler, though, the priestess just has a bottle of water, and a small green bird perched on her forehead.

Once Honoka reaches the top, she'll be offered the water bottle.]

Honoka-chan, what...exactly...is all this about? Are you preparing for a marathon?

[honokairo]

Haaaa.... haaaaa.... [She stops, takes the water bottle, and drinks from it.]

I... have to get into shape... so I can dance... ohhh, those stairs are so steep....

[faithfulflame]

Well you need to slow down, take a rest between sets. That's three I've counted, you know.

[She steps in the way, nodding towards the courtyard.]

Take a walk around the courtyard. Catch your breath. And tell me about this dancing?

[honokairo]

Three? Maybe I should do two tomorrow.... haaaa...

[She begins to walk in that direction, chugging more water down.]

It's so I can perform one day...I want to sing and dance for everyone...

[faithfulflame]

Take it slow, with exercise and water.

[Rei pulls out a second bottle, waiting for the first to empty before offering to trade.]

And do you? What sort of singing and dancing? Like the kind I do here, in the Shrine? Or...?

[honokairo]

No, on stage for everyone to see! [She gets excited at the idea.]

[faithfulflame]

Oh? What kind of music are you wanting to perform? I...haven't ever been to a stage show.

[honokairo]

Fun, upbeat music! The kind where you bounce in your seat!

[That would be the best kind to lift people's spirits in her opinion.]

[faithfulflame]

Ahh.

[Sounds like karaoke to Rei. Honoka...what is wrong with you?!]

And you're training on the stairs to be a better dancer? Why not practice dance?

[honokairo]

Well...dancing is a lot harder than that! You have to be in really good shape to do it, or you'll look like you're not having fun. You have to always smile, and that's hard!

[Jigglypuff has taught her this the hard way.]

Oh, I guess I can understand that. I've seen actors preparing for a play, and they train hard. I take it you'll be putting on concerts and the like? Or just local shows at school for now?

[Also...]

It sounds like something Minako-chan would be into.

[honokairo]

We'll put on a concert wherever we can!

...Who's that? Do you think she'd want to do something like this?

[faithfulflame]

Well, have you got a band?

[Rei's smile softens into something incredibly fond. As exasperating as Minako is, she's a dear friend. Bound up by fate with Rei and the others. So naturally, she has to speak well of her. And maybe look out for her dreams the way others had done for her.]

Minako-chan is a friend of mine and Usagi-chan. I...know she likes singing and dancing, so she might be? She's said it's a passion of hers before.

[honokairo]

No, I don't have anyone right now, but I was hoping that I could find more people to perform with.

[That's why she made that broadcast! It's working.]

Maybe your friends would like to come sing with me? Could I ask them?

[faithfulflame]

If you're asking me if I mind, no, of course I don't. Minako-chan might be interested. I...doubt Ami-chan would be, and Mako-chan is busy with school. And would you really want Usagi-chan in a band?

And I don't do things like that.

[honokairo]

[She taps a finger. Maybe Usagi wouldn't be the best choice...]

I'll ask Minako! And...are you so sure you don't do things like that?

[Starts to smile creepily. So creepy.]

[faithfulflame]

[That...smile...oh god!]

Y-yes! I'm absolutely sure.

[Really, she is, but Minako has been bugging her to do karaoke for like, a month.]

[honokairo]

Hee hee...you never know until you try! Come on, Rei, it's not so bad!

[She's going to try she is going to try to get Rei to sing]

[faithfulflame]

[Rei gives the younger girl a rather bemused look.]

You aren't the first person to tell me I should. I don't like karaoke, or singing in public.

[honokairo]

Well, we don't have to sing in public if you don't like to.

[Yet]

I've been singing in private, so I can practice.

[faithfulflame]

[Her brow furrows.]

You're planning on putting on a concert, Honoka-chan. That's public.

[You are not tricking her!]

[honokairo]

Yes but...I wouldn't make you sing in front of people if you didn't want to.

[She'll find a way to elbow Rei into it but she's telling the truth she swears]

And even if it is in public, it wouldn't be alone!

[faithfulflame]

[Rei folds her arms, gives Honoka a somewhat petulant look that says she knows what you're planning, and shakes her head. She hates the idea of singing in public.]

It doesn't matter if I'm alone or not. I don't like it.

[honokairo]

Don't worry Rei! I'm sure your voice isn't nearly as bad as you think it is!

[Because that's TOTALLY THE REASON RIGHT]

[Her eyes darken]
