Soulfasting Concert for Charity

Where: The Tycoon family estate
Summary: Lenna is hosting a charity event to benefit Union's poor and homeless population, along with refugees from war-torn communities outside Union's walls and people who are moving into the city but need some help while they get on their feet.  The entire city is invited, and donations are not required but are strongly encouraged in the form of Lenna smiling and making big moe eyes at everyone as they enter until they do.

[It's the beginning of the Soulfasting holiday, and despite the complications with Cresselia and Darkrai, Lenna has miraculously managed to pull together the final preparations for her charity event at the last minute.  The party itself is being held at the Tycoon mansion in the noble quarter, and the doors have been opened for any and all who wish to come and make merry.

The spacious foyer of the house has been set up with numerous tables with food and drink for the various attendees, plenty of room for dancing and mingling, and of course a large stage at the front of the room set up for Rin and Len Kagamine - Lenna's roommates and the headline performing act of the night.  There are donation boxes situated around the room, and Lenna will also be accepting larger donations personally so that she can secure them elsewhere in the house.

And because of the time of year, there is also a table set up with plenty of Pokemon-themed masks for people to wear, with a fancy sign hand written in calligraphy: 'Courtesy of the Tatsumi Gallery.'  Lenna herself is wearing a short red party dress with matching heels, greeting everyone as they enter and more or less just buzzing about making sure everyone is having a good time.]

Food Tables

[It's a noble's party, so of course there's some good food.]

[Standing over at the food table is Len still dressed up in his holiday appropriate Trickster outfit with a matching Drowzee-themed mask. The concert's come to a close by now, but he hasn't bothered to change back into his usual clothes just yet. He was still reeling with excitement and exhaustion after singing a whole concert for charity (but mostly for exposure)!

Now it was time to recharge and pig out exclusively on junk food.] It's true what they say...free food tastes better! Hehe. ♫

[A certain shy glasses girl is in attendance as well, loading up her plate with every conceivable culinary iteration of rice as she can possibly manage. In the middle, though, she notices Len and fumbles a bit.]

L-Len...!

Oh, hey Hanayo! [He stuffs a pastry into his mouth, apparently not noticing or not caring about the fumbling.] Did you like the concert?

Yes, very much! You and Rin were really incredible!

[Len looks like his face might crack if he grinned any wider.]

Thanks! We're trying to make it big, you know. This is just step one in our master plan.

He's started to pick up a BIT of etiquette here and there so he's at least doing it (mostly) right. He's also developed an eye for which foodstuffs are actually worth eating, and has loaded his plate up with generous helpings of that]

[Is that an Eevee eyeing some of the trays on the table? It looks like it as he tries to creep over to take a small snack but his comrade spots him and scoops him up.]

If you wanted food, you could've just asked me.

[The pokemon makes some noises and Yu is continuing to lightly scold him as he walks a bit away and sits down with him. He doesn't seem angry at least...]

[Rin's hanging out on the chairs nearby, taking a break after the concert. The fluffy pokemon catches her attention though - the ribbon in her hair even stands up alert, emoting like bunny ears. Oh... she's seen this pokemon before, hasn't she? Her memory of pokemon isn't the best, but someone on the network had one.]

That pokemon is pretty popular, huh? ♪

[Rin's Pumpkaboo from the show is no longer at her side, since it's off getting into shenanigans.]

[Oh, she's one of the performers. Izanagi just chirps and tries to ham up for attention but Yu stares at him. Hey, don't try and get sympathy from strangers!]

It seems so but only my friend has this kind of personality.

[Oh hello new person. This is when Izanagi squeaks and tries to win the favor of the stranger to spare him from scoldings. Come on Yu he's doing you a favor!]

There's hungry and then there's pulling food from the table with your teeth.

[It's a service to everyone; who would eat food when someone picks it up by their mouth?]

He'll eat just as long as I go get it.

[Yeah he should...do that now. Before the little bugger decides to go bigger.]

Yeah, okay, good point. Then again, I never know what to do with these fancy bits either.

[ Really, Usagi hadn't exactly planned on being here at the charity ball. After all, who had time to dress shop when they were either sleeping or stuck in the dream world because of that meanie Darkrai? Not this moon rabbit. But, thanks to the perfectly timed run in with one Lux Crownguard, Usagi had found herself talked into going and was immediately dragged to get ready.

Now, she's at the ball, all glittering and dressed to party in a borrowed, but still beautiful blue dress, make up all did, and her usual twin buntails replaced with this hair style.

Why? Well, when your hair's been singed and cut in places where it shouldn't have been, it's better to hide it in a temporary hair style then let everyone know what's going on up there, right? Either way, it had been nice to be pampered and once everything had been said and done, Usagi had found her way into the charity ball with Pinky the Clefairy....

... and right next to the large array of delicious food. Well, can't let something delicious go to waste! ]

Time to dig in~!

[ In all honesty, Usagi had probably guessed that either or both of the two older senshi would have shown up eventually. Both of them were always so elegant and high class and fabulous that it was only a matter of time.

Except she's still not expecting Michiru suddenly showing up as well as getting a compliment on her temporary style so, just as she's about to take a bit of something that looks absolutely delicious, her hand fumbles in surprise and for a second, she's trying to catch her food.

She does right before it hits the top of Pinky's head and sighs in relief. ]

Got it.

[ Time to recover! Usagi straightens herself and puts the food on the plate before looking up at Michiru with a sheepish little smile on her face. ]

A-ah, thank you! I do look pretty different, don't I?

From a distance, certainly. [sort of. You're unmistakeable, now that she knows.]

Are you enjoying yourself? [it doesn't seem like she's in any hurry to broach the Donphan in the room.]

[Is that girl eating everything on the table? And why does she look kinda familiar? Maybe she needs to slow down before-]

[ How fitting that as Usagi looks up to see who is dictating how she should eat, she's got a piece of cheese partially hanging from her lips. ]

[ Usagi glances around her to see that there's no one else around her, and when she turns to look Yu, her eyes widen before a bright smile spreads on her face. ]

Ah! I know you! [ After all, who could ever forget that spectacle he made by acting like her pokemon? ] Do you remember me? We met in Caldera a little while ago!

[She's classy. But when she mentions Caldera, Yu has to think for a moment. Who did he meet that ate like a Doduo and has met him before?]

[Now that he thinks about it, didn't she sound like a girl with weird buns in her hair and was okay with him giving all those pokemon treats one time?]

[Parties meant fun and free food. Sadly, that's pretty much the extent of it to Tohka. She didn't even know why the party was being held or anything. At least she's dressed up for the occasion. It may not be a super elegant dress, but she likes it.

Most of the time, unless she spots someone she knows, Tohka will be hovering near the food tables, chowing down on whatever looks delicious.]
