Summary: Lenna is hosting a charity event to benefit Union's poor and homeless population, along with refugees from war-torn communities outside Union's walls and people who are moving into the city but need some help while they get on their feet. The entire city is invited, and donations are not required but are strongly encouraged in the form of Lenna smiling and making big moe eyes at everyone as they enter until they do.

[It's the beginning of the Soulfasting holiday, and despite the complications with Cresselia and Darkrai, Lenna has miraculously managed to pull together the final preparations for her charity event at the last minute. The party itself is being held at the Tycoon mansion in the noble quarter, and the doors have been opened for any and all who wish to come and make merry.

The spacious foyer of the house has been set up with numerous tables with food and drink for the various attendees, plenty of room for dancing and mingling, and of course a large stage at the front of the room set up for Rin and Len Kagamine - Lenna's roommates and the headline performing act of the night. There are donation boxes situated around the room, and Lenna will also be accepting larger donations personally so that she can secure them elsewhere in the house.

And because of the time of year, there is also a table set up with plenty of Pokemon-themed masks for people to wear, with a fancy sign hand written in calligraphy: 'Courtesy of the Tatsumi Gallery.' Lenna herself is wearing a short red party dress with matching heels, greeting everyone as they enter and more or less just buzzing about making sure everyone is having a good time.]

[that's only really feeding back into her worries about Usagi being adequate leadership material, oops.]

No? Well, we could all use a break after last week.

[ look. adjustment periods differ from person to person. She'll come around! ... eventually.

Usagi is, however, quiet for a moment when Michiru mentions last week before she looks up to stare up at the woman. ]

Did you have to do anything last week? [ Because you weren't with Haruka. So, she's curious even if it's teetering on breaching other topics. ]

[well, as long as you didn't think she just sat around crying for Haruka.]

Some of us got pulled into another dream. Did you happen to see Cresselia?

[ of course not. she has much more faith in Michiru than that. ]

No. We saw Darkrai after he gave us his... a little test.

[ Usagi slowly reaches up and feels her hair. It might look like she's just making sure it looks good, but really it's cause she's just remembering that the test was why her hair was up like this right now. ] Haruka was there. Me and Haruka and Rei and Rei's cousin Eiji.

[that just draws her attention to your hair again and well. It's not too difficult to put two and two together.]

From what I heard, it seemed as if you had a much tougher time of it.

[she got the rational legendary, apparently.]

It was like playing a messed up variety game show, where instead of silly hurdles that don't really hurt anyone, you've got hungry hungry Sharpedos in the water trying to take a bite of Eiji as well as falling climbing walls and jets of fire and spikes that came out of the ground and walls that slammed into you if you didn't jump high enough or ducked down low!

[ Why yes, Usagi may be more than just a little irritated. In fact, she's so irritated that she's aggressively taking another bite of her food. ]

And what's worse is that if that's what we had to deal with, I can't even imagine what other people had to go through!

[ Especially if the outcome were questions like "HAVE YOU HUMANS REALLY CHANGED?" ]

[that's a quiet laugh, but at least it's genuine. Usagi, you are something else. Worried about others, huh?]

Did you think it had a purpose to it?

[she's heard one side of the story, but she could use another.

And well, maybe there isn't as much crying going on when you have a clearly defined goal.]

[ That piece deliciously seasoned vegetable that Usagi was about to shove in her mouth pauses right as it gets to her lips. Did Darkrai have a purpose? ]

I think he did...

[ Her aggressive eating becomes a thoughtful chew as she hums to herself. ]

I mean, to us, five hundred years is something we don't have to think about. All we have are history books and essays and old city ruins to remind us of the past...

But, gods are different. They live for a really long time. Five hundred years is probably like a second to them.

[ And that's not really enough time to heal from all the wounds that the humans of the past had inflicted. ]

[that gets a quiet laugh out of Michiru, surprisingly.]

You just reminded me of something Cresselia said.

[one arm across her torso, and the other hand tapping at her chin. What was the phrasing, exactly?] She was complaining about how Darkrai should really 'get over' being trapped in a ball for a few years because it was hundreds of years ago.

[there you go, Usagi. Information from at least one of the Outers. Now the implication that the 'gods' aren't unbeatable could be interesting.]

[ And that illicits a very long sigh from Usagi. as appreciative as she is for the info, it just makes Darkrai really sound like a child. ]

Well that's... I get it what she's trying to say too, but at the same time...

[ Usagi's still under the impression that he has every right to feel a bit of animosity to the human race especially if he never wanted to be captured in the pokeball.... ]

I just hope that thanks to this that he'll at least try to see that we've changed since then and that humans can learn from their mistakes...

Still, it seems like Cresselia could keep Darkrai in line.] Do you think he knows about Gigas?

[ That's... a good question, actually. Usagi's face goes blank at the thought of Darkrai putting Gigas to the test and feels a small chill go down her spine. ]

I want to say no, but...

[ Because if Gigas had been his first stop, there's a chance that the world could be in trouble. Again. ]

I really don't know.
