[Observe the interior of Garry's classroom as it's obvious he's twisting his wrist this way and that to get a good look at the Warp Band.] So this is what all the fuss is about...? [Yes, that was a defeated sigh. Good ol' Garry.]
I'm not sure going out is the best idea .. besides, we still have class. So don't think you're going to get out of doing homework! [Right? Right. He's not that scatterbrained.] But maybe a little venture out on the weekends would be okay. During the day. [No thanks for night time.]
I guess it's customary to ask for tips or something like that. [He's really only ever focused on things that had nothing to do with leaving Union so pokemon training has never been his forte. The cute little blue Floette on the edge of his desk sits patiently, looking on.] Instead of tips.. why don't you tell me your favorite thing about training? ...and exploring? [He asks like he's talking to one person instead of a network at whole. Because that's easier and opens communication more. And also might help him a little better. Maybe.]

...Oh wait no it's not, it's her sister Mary.] Why didn't you tell me that you got one of these warp band things too? [...Actually, he might have told her already and she wasn't listening when he mentioned it recently. Also, she's only now starting to get the hang of them herself, so the view is a little slanted as she tilts her wrist this way and that.] What are you doing right now? You're still at the classroom, right?

I'm just cleaning up. I'll be home soon.

Since you have one of these bands now, does this mean that you're gonna start exploring outside too?

As for exploring, I just like discovering new things. And sometimes you run into Pokemon you've never met before, too! It's dangerous, of course, but if you know how to hold your own you can make friends with them.
I think exploration is very important to Union. Despite living here for a long time, we haven't been able to expand and explore the surrounding territory much. That seems to be changing recently, though - I've gone to the newfound island some time ago myself. I wonder if we can expand our reach enough to find other human settlements - aside from Gigas, I guess. I don't think we're quite ready to meet with team Evolution again.
Are you a new trainer? I could give some tips! If you don't mind some role reversal. I think I'm young enough to still be in class.

But if you mean around Union, then no, not really! Places like Verdant Forest or Forest Shrine are very nice for newbie explorers, unless you have allergies I suppose. I would advise staying away from the mountains or the swamp, though - Pokemon that inhabit them are much more aggressive and predatory, and the areas themselves hold some dangers. Cave-ins, getting lost in the underground mazes, drowning in the swamp, that sorta thing. It's the same reason I'd advise against going into the Old City, even though it's really close by. There aren't any swamps there, of course, but it's still unstable enough to be dangerous.
Oh yeah, Scorched Forest is not too dangerous either, but it's not too pleasant to look at or be in... The canyon might be a good idea once you get a bit more experience! There's the island, too, but you need a big Flying type to get there, and it's mostly unexplored so while it's got a nice beach and the jungle is pretty it would probably be best to stay around the shore.
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, why do you want to explore?

What a sweet idea. I'm sure your students must be very excited.
[Might be a touch hard to tell through text, but he's not being sarcastic at all.]

Gets the kids to think about something. I think it's a great way to teach Geography, personally. Gets the younger citizens of Union a chance to learn about areas they might otherwise not have easy access to.
