Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek



An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

[Oh no dude, you're not giving his master a concussion. Takuro bounces off Hiroshi and headbutts that sucker right back atcha.

Yowch! The poor Pansage was caught off guard when the Axew got him, knocked out of the tree a few branches down. Oh, it's on now! The little green monkey rocked from foot to foot before swinging down to land on Hiroshi this time, knocking its fist against his head. (Gently.) Maybe its his bright hair that's caught the Pokemon's attention?

[Curse his early going white! He yelps as the Pansage lands on his head. Spur finally manages to get close to his head, and gets indignant when something has taken his spot. No! Bad monkey! Vice Grip for you! Rrrr!

...He's only level 4 so it doesn't do much, but regardless.]

Pansage looks at the Klink curiously. Is it trying to give it a hug? Oh wait, that hurts! Only a little. No pinching! It gives Spur a playful ooki ooki! and jumps down to Hiroshi's shoulder instead.

Spur shifts onto Hiroshi's head. If he could, he'd be puffing out his cheeks in annoyance. Hiroshi, for his part, mostly just has a headache, which leaves Takuro to do the, uh, "talking." Which essentially goes along the lines of whether or not Pansage couldn't find a less painful way to say "hi."

Pansage seems to sigh. It was just trying to make new friends!

In face, he jumps down to get the coconut he threw, coming back to them all a few minutes later with it. It's split nearly down the middle and Pansage breaks it open, holding it up to share the deliciousness inside, drinking the milk out of the other half.

Takuro sighs and says something along the lines of pointing out that it's usually easier to make a friend when said friend is conscious.

Hiroshi, meanwhile, is slowly getting his scattered brains back in order enough to realize a peace offering when he sees one, accepting it slowly. ...Actually, fresh coconut IS pretty good.

Pansage hops around happily, eating its own half of coconut. It's hoping they'll forgive all its dumb behavior. It's just how it is!! It jumps back up, letting Hiroshi taste some of the coconut milk as well.

Hiroshi blinks, tasting the milk. It's part of the diplomacy process, after all. Also, it tastes good. "Ah... thank you. You are... really not so bad, are you? Just playful." He rubs his head a bit. "...And a good thrower."

Takuro gives a thumbs up to Hiroshi. Doing good, bro!

The monkey gives Hiroshi a thumbs up and pats him on his head a little bit almost like its trying to say sorry for hitting him.

"Ah... if it was just your way of greeting me, I suppose there was no harm done." He didn't FEEL concussed, anyway. "Would you like to travel with me? I go to a lot of different and new places, and you could meet new people that way."

Pansage considers this a moment, before nodding and handing him the rest of the coconut. Oki ooki! It sits down on Hiroshi's shoulder and kicks its feet happily. Onward!
