Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek
An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.
The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.
This truly was a paradise.

"...I should have brought a snack..." Imogen added as they followed the path of peels, curiously watching Jason's partner take the lead on this. Brighteyes rolled his eyes and just kept to the shadows a few paces behind. Always good if you have a party to keep one member out of trouble when the others blunder in.

It doesn't run however, they stay within range. Perhaps it's looking to have some fun today.]

Jason shrugs at her question, "Just what I've heard. It could be the people I heard it from just need to train more...not that I'm one to talk." Jason knew he was still fairly inexperienced compared to a lot of people in Union. But, he wanted to get stronger and help out, so why NOT test himself against strong and unique Island pokemon.
"Yeah...that would have been a good idea, huh?"
While Jason might be clueless to the Pokemon in the trees above, Bolt isn't. His ears perk up and he tilts his head back. "Pika?" His ears shift up and down as if assessing the sound. He can't seem to decide if he should do something or not and looks back over at Jason and his friend. The sounds are subtle so it COULD just be the wind. But it could also be something else.
"Pi!" He exclaims, as if to get them to stop talking about food of all things and actually pay attention.

"Or... his ears, in this case," Imogen knew that reaction, that idea you've heard something but you don't know if your head isn't lying to you. Her eyes scanned the ground around but she didn't bother to look up. Not that she didn't think something was up there, it often was, but it'd be better not to give that away.
Imogen gave her attention to Bolt, while this is all Jason's show and she isn't coddling, a better translation of what's going on wouldn't hurt. She just had to remember she wasn't in charge here. Because if Jason's mom ever found out... well, she didn't want to think about that.

A Pansage appears, swaying back and forth as it sits on the branch.] Pansage! [The look it gives is almost devilish, it's plotting something.]

Based on previous pokemon encounters, Jason did not have a good feeling about this.
"Hello...was this your lunch?"
Bolt's tail twitches as he comes to stand in front of Jason. He doesn't like the look on the tree-dweller's face.

"You've got this Jason Grace." And then Imogen lays back and hums to herself, acting like she isn't watching from behind her dark glasses.

Aiming? What would such a cute little Pokemon need to aim at? Well, the humans invading their forest of course, eat banana strangers!]

At least until the bananas started flying at him. While perhaps not the most dangerous weapon around, it was still annoying to be pelted by fruit. Jason ducked the first one, "H-hey!"
He wasn't sure this was called for and in attempting to dodge a second banana, tripped and got smacked upside the head anyway. Jason wasn't sure he was hungry any more.
Bolt didn't like this any more than Jason. He was smaller and faster than his human partner though and weaved around Jason to get closer to the tree. "CHU!" Bolt cried before attempting to zap the monkey out of the tree and away from the bananas.
