Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

[Swim? In this? Well, Imogen did say that they didn't retain nearly as much water as bathing clothes, but would it hold up in the water?

Right, swim! Annabel would probably like that a lot. Just a moment.

[Putting a hand to her warp band, the young Vaporeon appeared, looking around and brightening up. Water! Bright blue water! She is so there!]

Thank you again, by the way. For the water stone.

[Lux come oooooooon. We aren't getting any closer to the water. Go go go! Annabel headbutts at Lux's back with her forehead.]

*Do you not trust that Imogen and Camille have your best interests at heart? She's hurt, wounded at the idea.*

How about you two go for a swim, I'll watch our bags until I can get Brighteyes to sit still and do it for us? I kinda want to bask in the sun and warmth for a bit!

*Okay, so maybe Imogen is seeing what happens if you two go off without a chaperon. But it's still best interests!*

[Camille, taking a break from swimming herself, slinks up to Imogen as the two walk off. She saw what just happened. What were you doing, Im? You saw how he looked at her? You were planning something.]

A little attention won't hurt her, I want to see how long she can play that confidence.

*Imogen smiled, she was usually planning something. You get used to that, she sets up her towel and lays out in the sun. Dark lenses hiding she is keeping track of Lux and Ez.*

Plus if he does I'll make sure he's on the wrong end of a cave in. If you're worried, keep an eye on them up close. But this should all work out~.

[Ezreal is pretty natural in the water]

You swim much?

[Lux isn't nearly as comfortable in the water, but manages. Annabel is swimming circles around them, egging them on to chase her.]

No, not very. I try to take Camille out to swim when I can, but that doesn't happen very often.

[As soon as she got out of her own head, she would be fine, Camille assured her. Anyway, she didn't want to go out with Annabel out there. Nothing against the little one, but all she wanted to do was splash around and be rowdy.

...What all should work out? Camille blinked a few times with as much of a frown as she could manage.]

But you know how, right?

More or less.

Good! In that case I'll race you to that sandbar over there!

[And off he goes!]

What? Hey!

[Ezreal whyyyyy can she actually swim and keep this suit in tact? SHE'S GOING TO TRY.]

[Ezreal's not exactly gonna let her win, but he'll keep pace with her so she doesn't fall too far behind.]

[Was he holding back? She could tell at least that much. If he was going to do that, she would just have to beat him.]

[Yeah that's not happening. If she looks like she's catching up he's picking up the pace]

[And she will too, although that seems like a bit of a struggle. She's not about to lose--at least not without a fight!]

[Oh it's on. Full speed ahead!]

[Yeah no, she's not keeping up with that. She's an occasional swimmer, and definitely not meant for long spurts of speed. When they do manage to get there--her arriving way after him--she's out of breath.]

[Ezreal's laughing]

Not bad! Not bad at all!

I don't think. I've ever swam so much. All at once.

[That was exhausting, but she is laughing a bit, so that's a good sign.]

You've got pretty good form!

Really? You think so?

[Well, Annabel thinks you two are SLOOOOOWPOOOOOKES. She's been here for, like, forever, and you guys just got here, so obviously she wins this race. Lux laughs.]

Annabel just declared herself winner. Too bad, Ezreal.

Well, I guess I can't say anything to that. Annabel beat us fair and square, flippers and ability to breathe underwater aside.

[Oh what, you wanna fight, scrawny? Do you? DO Y0U?

Yeah, didn't think so. She won fair and square. She's gonna splash Ezreal with her tail for good measure, though. Just to show him who's boss.]

Why do all your Pokemon do this kind of thing to me?

[THAT WAS A CHALLENGE, TOOTHPICK. WANNA GO? HUH HUH HUH? YOU'LL EAT HER BUBBLES.]

I'm really not sure.

[She's laughing pretty hard.]
