Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

[That makes her feel a little better. She worries the hem of her dress, looking down again.]

We'll be able to go home someday, even if that means rebuilding.

[She looks over at him, sensing how deeply important the promise is. He's definitely matured, and not just physically. She flushes a little, but smiles anyway, and lays a hand over his.]

[He has, in some ways. He didn't have Riku or Roxas to hide behind anymore. He's had to learn how to stand on his own two legs, to find what truly mattered to him]

[Though of course, he's still the same boy in a lot of ways. Like how he turns a red when she puts his hand on his. ]

[The blush is only further at the idea of him traveling with Kairi too. He almost wants to say "that's too dangerous", but uh, getting locked in a closet by his brother for those reasons sure makes him shut up fast there]

That's right! [She's relieved he's not telling her to stay home. She'd be so mad if he did.] I won't get in the way. I've been training with my Pokemon, and I know how to use a real sword now.
