Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek



An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

[Ky sinks down so only his head can be seen, red as a beet, between his own clothes being semi-transparent and Imogen's indecent wear]

Swim clothes! I don't think this style has a name yet, but I like it a lot more than the stuffy things I used to wear.

You don't like it?

[Ky glances away, bobbing in place as he gives a brief, almost pleading look to his pokemon to somehow help]

It also doesn't soak up half the ocean and weight it when I get out. And it dries in a fraction of the time!

*Why is every noble so impractical... other than the obvious. She lays back to float on the water a bit.*

Do you want help? Any answer to the... clear problem you have to deal with?

[Okay - that is practical, but that's still indecent!]

If there's... a way that isn't too troublesome.

[Ky mutters sheepishly, glancing around the area nervously]

*Imogen looks around, considering a moment.*

If it isn't too indecent for me to see your torso through fabric, I could bring a towel to where the water is a little shallower, so you can cover yourself till you can change or dry off.

You know, in a few hours. Because your fabric retains water.

[He raises an arm and gestures to the far-too-amused flaffy and bulbasaur on the shore]

They have my towel over there... and Thank you for the aid.

*Imogen splashes over to the Pokepair.*

Now... should I bring him his towel?

*Oh, sorry, was she not suppose to ask your partners for permission?*

[Honestly, Ky isn't bothered by the idea, even under normal circumstances.

Isaac reaches the towel with his vine, and extends it - holding it over the water so that it's within reach of Imogen, though it's clear the bulbasaur can't extend it any further]

*Imogen comes close enough to collect the towel, and bows lightly. She'd bow deeper but she's still in the water and the towel would get wet. She wandered back, as close as she could before she ran out of height to keep the towel over the water and spread her arms to hold the towel out.*

Okay, this is as far as I can go, if I were wearing really tall boots maybe a little further but that'd get really awkward walking out in.

[Ky quickly - well as quickly as one could wade in water - goes to meet her half way. He's relatively slender, but it's clear he's actually fairly muscular for his overall frame. Once he's within range, he takes the towel and wraps it around him as fast as humanly possible]

*Oh, Imogen looks, and she enjoys what she sees. Ky can ignore how much she's studying exactly how many muscles she can count before the towel is in place. It'd be easier at night.*

Better? Now... didn't anyone tell you to test swim costumes at home before you come out in public.

*Says the nearly naked girl.*

[His face practically glowed by how red it went, quickly glancing at a suddenly interesting sand dollar on the beach]

Well - I hadn't done much extensive swimming... in public before, so it really wasn't something that came to mind.

You're really red, have you been in the harsh sun too long?

*She knows full well that isn't why he's red.*

Well, try something in a different color? White is the worst choice for this sort of thing.

Thankfully Alice packed two swimsuits for some reason....
