[It was a rare day when Waver Velvet addressed the public of Union as a whole, but this day something about him seemed off. He seemed more bothered, more irritable than normal-- not that the little Nincada that was sitting on his head seemed to care. It drummed it's little feet happily on Waver's head, glad to be there for it's trainer in this strange time.

Heaving a sigh, Waver continued:]

Let's take a poll. Who here has been having weird dreams for the last couple of days? I need to know for academic reasons.

[...And, that was all. Waver scratched his cheek, feeling awkward and embarrassed about this entire problem that he was having.]

Don't worry about when you reply. I don't think I'll be getting to sleep any time soon.

[And, with that, the feed abruptly shut off.

Respond, Union?]

Yes. And i don't know why. Do you know something?

No, I don't. That's why I'm taking a survey.

[For 'academic reasons', of course. Waver made another tally mark on his sheet before he continued.]

We haven't met before, have we? My name's Waver Velvet, and I'm with the Rangers.

[ He almost bows into the video feed as he moves to greet Waver formally. ]

So, you think it is an Ill omen then?

[Waver is grateful for the restraint; there's no need to be so formal in front of a self-taught magus who was skinnier than a bellsprout and could be beaten up by an angry jigglypuff.]

I'm not the superstitious type, [he explained with a weary sigh.] So I can't answer that question properly, but I don't believe this is all just coincidence. Even though we all had the same experiences in the recent fight, this can't just be some mass hysteria-- it's too streamlined. At least, right now it is.

What do you think about it?

I will admit I am rather intrigued. But I can't say I am knowledgeable enough to form a theoretical about it.

It's not a thing for everyone, so don't worry about that part. I'm actually trying to collect some of this data because not everyone understands what's happening right now.
