Sleepover at Maki's! μ's Is Finally Formed!
Who: The Love Live! Girls
What: A SLEEPOVER OF GIRLY PROPORTIONS.
When: Week 49
Where: Maki's House!
Summary: After getting the idea to have a get together at Maki's due to a fib that was told to her by a certain red haired girl who scares her, everyone's been invited over to spend the day at Maki's. And then spend the night doing all sorts of fun stuff.
After semi-careful planning with Maki, which honestly wasn't so careful if Maki hadn't been the one to keep Honoka's ideas in line, arrangements were made at the Nishikino household to keep nine girls entertained. With the knowledge now of knowing that a performance was headed their way, some practice was in need for the girls. Umi would see to that, no matter how much some of them might protest that they would rather be doing something a little more fun. But, the girls worked hard.
Their reward would come later in the day, when they could stuff themselves with as much custom made homecooked pizza as they wanted. In addition to all the other activities planned for the night. A sappy romance movie, an impromptu pokémon contest (who's is the cutest, the best performer, the strongest?), an epic game of hide and seek, choosing where to sleep, and once that was finished? The pillow fight afterward would become a fluffy struggle to survive.
Honoka made sure to invite everyone, whether she personally asked them herself or had someone else extend the invite for her.
But...what would they be named?

Practice:
[It's obvious from the last practice that she's gotten a lot better. She's mostly learned her singing parts and all the choreography is looking pretty good. She's even almost completely perfected the dumb move that she was crashing into Kotori for over and over. There's still a lot of room for improvement, but it's obvious she's been working hard.]
Hide and Seek:
[They might be a little old for this, but this is a mansion we're talking about. A giant mansion. It would be a shame if they didn't play hide and seek with as much room as they have to use. And every room has incredibly amazing hiding spots.]
Where are you guys!
[She calls out as she's looking for anyone. But when she's the one hiding, she's trying to hold her breath as she hears the one searching for them all walk by. She hopes she's not found-!]
Pizza/Movie:
[She has no idea how to make a home baked pizza, but she's choosing ingredients. Pretty much anything is game as long as it's not dango or red bean paste. Though some of what she's put in her pizza might not agree with one of the other girls when she offers a piece.
Either way, she's taking her pizza and finding a spot in front of the huge TV to sit and watch this romance movie. But it's so sad in places, she can't help but cry at parts. Look at that, the girl loves him so much...how could he not love her back?]
Pokémon Contest!:
[She's brought her Buneary! It's pretty cute and all, but it's eating someone's sweater they left on the couch. That might detract from its points.]
Sleeping spots/Pillow Fight:
[She's relatively indifferent to where she sleeps. Anywhere is fine, and she takes up a spot near anyone who doesn't mind having her there. Until it happens. Something gets thrown somewhere, and before you know it, all the pillows that could be had in the house are now being flung across the room at each other.
This is war.]
((Or create your own scenario! I'm open to anything!))
Hide and Seek!
[Someone's a genius and that genius is a large chair in one of the free rooms that the girls are available to hide in.]

[ In the kitchen there are bowls of neatly chopped ingredients of just about every sort, with already spread out pizza dough by the Nishikino family cook. But other than the food on the giant kitchen counters, and the ovens already preheated, it's up to the girls to do everything else.
Maki however, has never really cooked, and doesn't quite know what to do. She knows that pizza needs sauce and cheese, but what else to put on, she's not sure. So mostly she's going to be looking to work with someone else to make something to eat. ]
Hide and Seek:
Y-You can't play hide and seek in the house!
[ Yes, this is Maki's stance on this, even if no one else is listening to her. She never played such a game in her life after all, not as a child and definitely not as a teenager thinking she's ten years more mature than she really is. So just expect her not to really play along and be a grump about it. Definitely don't try to hide in her room or she will be furious. ]
Sleeping:
[ Maki has never played hide and seek, nor has she had a sleepover with anyone, especially not this many girls at once. And the only time she's ever slept in the living room was after falling asleep at the piano. Luckily all the pillows and futons are out, and there's not much else to do other than roll them out wherever they want to sleep. ]
I'll just sleep where ever, it doesn't really matter.
[ She is already twirling her hair, shrugging. It's not like she would want to sleep next to anyone after all. ]
((Or anything of course!))
Hide and Seek
What, this place is huge! It's practically made for it.

mark her territoryestablish dominancemake sure no one got any ideas about who had the most familiarity with this house. Somehow, the idea of this setting where she often came to relax, away from the chaos of her own home, being filled with the noise of seven other girls just rubbed her the wrong way... and if she couldn't stop it, she sure was going to control it, or die trying.][Practice]
[This time, Nico's not only coaching with a little less vitriol, but she's also putting on her own practices, with her pokemon or the other girls. While she's not perfect, it's definitely clear how much she's practiced, and with Maki's help that she'll never admit to - it's not just hot air when she criticizes, even if she could stand to be a bit nicer about it.]
[Practice...?]
No, smile, it's all about the smile! You can't call yourself an idol if you can't always wear a smile, no matter how tired you are! Even if you're angry, you have to be able to hide that and only let them see a perfect, pretty smile! Like this!
[She turns around, and that shouting face is transformed into an almost saccharine sweet expression as she turns back, fingers in her signature expression]
Nico~ Nico~ Nii~
[Pizza]
Have none of you ever cooked before!?
[Movie]
[Some girls may be crowding the screen, completely taken in as the climactic scene reaches its dramatic peak, but not Nico. No, Nico is far too mature for such childish behavior. Which is why she's sitting in the back sobbing her eyes out as she watches with rapt attention.]
I, I'm so glad! They finally said it! I'm so glad...
[Pokemon contest]
Hmph, I'll show you girls what a real talent is!
[Nico's all dressed out and ready to perform with her shiny whimsicott... who has a particularly evil look on its face and apparently other plans.]
[Sleeping Spots/Pillow fight]
Well, I think we should just lay them down in order of arrival and-
[Wumph. Pillow to the face.]
...all right, who threw that!?

[Rin has definitely gotten better with practice! As always, Rin is giving it her all and she has gotten most of the choreography down perfectly. Her voice is not perfect, but it has improved since first practice after considering Maki's words of wisdom. Her Pokémon followed along with her well and they aren't just putting it all in their movements and song, but they are having fun with it along with Rin.]
Hide and Seek:
This place is so big! I declare for hide and seek games! Go!
[Throwing that idea out there and already off to hide. Let the games begin!]
Pizza:
Okay, Rin's specialty pizza is coming up!
[One pizza makes sense, there is mushrooms and meats and veggies and it looks and smells good! However, Rin brought over something extra and she's literally making ramen pizza. Lit. cooked ramen noodles on cheese pizza after the pizza gets baked. She's experimenting with it and she's far from being a cooking expert, but nobody is stopping her so far so...]
Pokemon Contest:
I know it's for fun, but you don't have to intentionally lose this time!
[Lala the Reuniclus is entered in the impromptu contest! She has a cute bow on her head and she presses her hands together, thinking on Rin's words but she nods. It will be tough since she likes making games and lose to them on purpose (which took a while for Rin to catch), but she's here to have fun, not win or lose.]
Look out, everyone! Rin and Lala are now in full charge~!

[You can bet Umi's very adamant about getting a fair amount of practice in. It's important that they all put their best into it, especially if they really do want to perform in front of others. Umi isn't all that confident in her own readiness, but she's sort of stuck with them now.]
Hide and Seek:
[This? Umi's just flabbergasted by how childish this is and refuses to participate. If they have this much energy, they could surely have kept practicing!]
Pizza:
[To no one's surprise, Umi's pizza is very...healthy and kind of bare looking.]
Shouldn't you all be watching your figures?
[She may or may not give Honoka a pointed glare.]
Pokémon Contest:
[Okay, so she's not really participating, but the Plusle (who seems to have a mustache), and Minun she brought with her have taken it upon themselves to judge it. Every move the other Pokémon to take, they have some sort of witty, snarky response to it, and there's no small amount of laughter from the electric rodents.
Say hello to Waldorf and Statler, everyone.]
I wish they wouldn't do this.
Sleeping:
[Umi's not picky about where she sleeps, but she's probably the first one out like a light. Disturb at your own peril.]
Pizza ofc
She gives Umi a meek wave and a smile. She is...totally going by the diet. Totally.]

[Hanayo's made a little bit of personal progress since the last time, thanks to voice coaching from Maki and appeal coaching from Nico. Her dancing is still a little awkward, but she's gotten a proper strap for her glasses (and brought Honoka's shoelace back for her too), so at least they're not falling off anymore when she spins. Her voice is still soft, but harmonizes as well as ever with the other girls and is steadily getting louder and more confident. She seems to do better when her Pokemon are performing with her, and they're all full of energy too, providing musical accompaniment by way of moves like Heal Bell and Belly Drum.]
Hide and Seek:
[Everyone likes a good game of hide and seek, right? And Hanayo is frighteningly good at it, considering how little noise she makes. No quiet giggles, no loud breathing, none of that. It's a pretty great boon when both hiding and seeking. Hopefully she doesn't hide too well for too long and get overlooked.]
Pizza:
[True to form, Hanayo seems to have found a way to incorporate her favorite food - rice - into pizza as well. She cooks a big bowl of white rice up first before she starts making her crust, and works the rice right into it along with the eggs and cheese. As for the toppings, she puts on just about everything you can possibly imagine. Rice is her favorite food, but Hanayo loves good food in general, so this is one heck of a supreme she's got going here. If she stacks the toppings any higher, it might have to turn into a layered and stuffed pizza.]
I wonder if it needs more...
[Someone please stop this madness.]
Pokemon Contest:
[Kururin the Lilligant has been itching for an opportunity to show off all of her hard-learned dance moves, so she's the one Hanayo brought with her to the sleepover tonight.]
Okay, Kururin! Show them what you've learned!
[It's a very impressive performance, full of lots of spinning and twirling. If Hanayo can learn to dance half as well as this pretty little lady, she'll be in really good shape as an idol.]
Sleeping Spots / Pillow Fight:
[Hanayo quietly claims a spot next to Rin once sleeping arrangements come into question. She's friends with all of these girls now, but Rin is her oldest friend, and she feels safer and more secure in an unfamiliar place with her bestie next to her.]
Rin... can I sleep here?
[Once the pillow fight happens, Hanayo's glasses are immediately knocked off her face and she spends most of the time trying to find them while getting buffeted with pillows from every possible angle.]
Ah...! M-my glasses...

Hide and seek:
[Kotori may not be the instigator of most games but she is not somebody who would reject a chance to play either! She is pretty old school when it comes to hiding places but that may work on her advantage since nobody would check obvious places in such a big mansion.]
Pizza/cooking general:
[Cooking something like this is not her specialty but she is not inexperienced in it. Kotori moves with ease even in an unknown kitchen and her pizza, little by little, is coming along very well.
A small detail is that Deery follows her around the kitchen and his new big frame may make it uncomfortable for practically everyone else in it.]
Pokemon contest
[Cherry the Plusle braves the pokemon contest! Sadly she seems more interested in the rivals than actually participating and insists on handing them recruitment forms after their performances. Are you interested in supporting others? you have the skills to join the cheer squad.]
Hairstyling:
[After the intense battle of pillow against pillow is over they are all left giggling and looking like a mess. This just won't do for idols! it's time to fix their looks a bit.]
How about a braid for a change?~
[Kotori, now sporting a very convincing copy of Nico's trademark twintails, is happily playing with one of her friends's hair.]
Hairstylin'
[ Maki is sitting still on the couch with her back to Kotori, hands unable to stay still in her lap. Why she agreed to this she isn't sure, but she knows that it's almost impossible to tell Kotori no. Who would want to see that girl upset? So she's resigned herself to this, for better or worse. ]

[For not having practiced with the group before, Nozomi is a surprisingly quick learner. She seems to be able to anticipate steps with relative ease, and while she isn't the best with them yet, it's easy to see that she will only get better with time.
And it doesn't hurt that her girlfriend has been working with her on the side.]
[PIZZA]
[Work hard, eat hard, right? Nozomi was something of a simple cook, with simple wants and needs. And those happened to be a pizza covered to the brim with meat and cheese.
Yeah, it's not very idol-like, but it's good!]
[FORTUNE TELLING]
[Of course she brought her cards; Nozomi didn't go anywhere without them. But this time, she decided to bring a few things from her shop--a cloth to place them on, and a few odds and ends (for effect). She'll seat herself on the floor, grinning a bit.
Anyone want to know your future? Her readings are almost always correct, although it's hard to say if she'll be keeping to that promise tonight, especially with the particularly mischievous glint in her eye.]
[PILLOW FIGHT]
[You aren't sure where it came from, or how, or why, but a pillow sails through the air. Either it flies past you, or directly into you. Regardless, there Nozomi sits, smiling innocently. It couldn't possibly have been her~]
[NAMING]
[It was on her mind, whether or not she said or acted like it. Her vision was finally coming to fruition, but there was something missing. Taking part in activities throughout the sleepover, for once she felt... like she belonged. It wasn't the same feeling she had with Maya or Jinxie--they were family after all, even if not initially--but something different.
She liked it. She liked it a lot, actually.
But they were still nine girls, completely separate from each other. They might perform together, but there wasn't anything that really united them all together as one.
Sometime during the night, likely close to when they were considering settling down, Nozomi sat on a makeshift bed, legs crossed. She had been relatively quiet up until this point, until she suddenly spoke.]
You know, we need a name if we're gonna be performing together.

15 minutes late with parfaits (for Nozomi) and pain for the rest of you
[Eri had said she was going to help, and she was true to her word. She arrived with several notebooks and books of technique and she mercilessly drilled the other girls. Her standards were high but she wasn't necessarily unkind about it, just strict and exacting. Even after a day though, the other girls should feel a lot more confident in their dance.]
Hide and Seek:
[Eri moved gracefully through the mansion, eyes alert. This was one game she wasn't about to lose]
Pizza/Movie now with Ice Cream:
[Eri and Nozomi's contribution to the party was a pile of meat from Nozomi and ice cream from Eri, in several flavors and hand crafted through collaboration with some of their collective Pokemon]
Pokémon Contest!:
[Jaska was not about to leave Eri's side, and was in fact quite powerful and graceful. She's just a bit big. Don't mention that to her, though.]
