What: A SLEEPOVER OF GIRLY PROPORTIONS.
When: Week 49
Where: Maki's House!
Summary: After getting the idea to have a get together at Maki's due to a fib that was told to her by a certain red haired girl who scares her, everyone's been invited over to spend the day at Maki's. And then spend the night doing all sorts of fun stuff.

After semi-careful planning with Maki, which honestly wasn't so careful if Maki hadn't been the one to keep Honoka's ideas in line, arrangements were made at the Nishikino household to keep nine girls entertained. With the knowledge now of knowing that a performance was headed their way, some practice was in need for the girls. Umi would see to that, no matter how much some of them might protest that they would rather be doing something a little more fun. But, the girls worked hard.

Their reward would come later in the day, when they could stuff themselves with as much custom made homecooked pizza as they wanted. In addition to all the other activities planned for the night. A sappy romance movie, an impromptu pokémon contest (who's is the cutest, the best performer, the strongest?), an epic game of hide and seek, choosing where to sleep, and once that was finished? The pillow fight afterward would become a fluffy struggle to survive.

Honoka made sure to invite everyone, whether she personally asked them herself or had someone else extend the invite for her.

But...what would they be named?

[ Maki is so confused by Kotori's reluctance to use them, that she really has to rack her brain to figure it out. Eventually she looks down at the mushrooms in a small bowl and then back to Kotori. ]

...Are these really expensive?

[Someday Kotori will learn to hide her feelings a bit instead of being a completely open book.

That day is not today and thus she nods obediently, admitting the truth.]

Yes. Using them on pizza feels wrong...

[ Maki has zero idea how much they cost, but if Kotori really wants them, but not on pizza...then that would be a fair compromise right? ]

B-but they are too expensive, it feels wrong to accept them... b-but Maki is offering... the Purrloing shifter may have caused a small short circuit inside Kotori's head until she meekly nods, defeated by her own greed.]

I'll use them for dinner someday you come visit, okay?

[ It doesn't hurt that making someone happy makes Maki feel happy too. She'd give away plenty more of the expensive ingredients here in the kitchen if it was to make her new friends happy. Despite not wanting to be used as a friend just because she is rich, now that she's made real friends with real bonds between them, she actually feels like doing more to help them. ]

I-It can't be helped then right? Just tell me when I can come over before they go bad.

[ Even if she feels that way, she can't speak openly about her feelings, instead hiding because the defensive wall. ]

[For a defensive wall Maki's defenses are simply too full of holes, a castle of ice during a summer heatwave. The girl's lack of honesty is endearing in it's way just like a secret code that she managed to decipher after putting enough dedication on it. Kotori smiles.]

[ Maki would very much like it not to be known that she's some kind of Ice Queen or anything! But secretly she is happy that Kotori sees through her, because even if she can't be honest in her word, it's clear that her feelings still reach her friend. ]
