What: A Soulfast-themed charity concert and dance

Where: The Tycoon family estate
Summary: Lenna is hosting a charity event to benefit Union's poor and homeless population, along with refugees from war-torn communities outside Union's walls and people who are moving into the city but need some help while they get on their feet. The entire city is invited, and donations are not required but are strongly encouraged in the form of Lenna smiling and making big moe eyes at everyone as they enter until they do.

[It's the beginning of the Soulfasting holiday, and despite the complications with Cresselia and Darkrai, Lenna has miraculously managed to pull together the final preparations for her charity event at the last minute. The party itself is being held at the Tycoon mansion in the noble quarter, and the doors have been opened for any and all who wish to come and make merry.

The spacious foyer of the house has been set up with numerous tables with food and drink for the various attendees, plenty of room for dancing and mingling, and of course a large stage at the front of the room set up for Rin and Len Kagamine - Lenna's roommates and the headline performing act of the night. There are donation boxes situated around the room, and Lenna will also be accepting larger donations personally so that she can secure them elsewhere in the house.

And because of the time of year, there is also a table set up with plenty of Pokemon-themed masks for people to wear, with a fancy sign hand written in calligraphy: 'Courtesy of the Tatsumi Gallery.' Lenna herself is wearing a short red party dress with matching heels, greeting everyone as they enter and more or less just buzzing about making sure everyone is having a good time.]

[ Hey Elly. She doesn't have silver hair up in twin buntails, a gold upturned crescent mark on her forehead or looks worse for wear, but, doesn't this adorable little blonde haired girl look eerily familiar?

Because it's totally the same girl, except younger and she's walking in your general direction.

WAT DO. ]

[She knows that face, Elly knows that she does, but it's hard to place at first.

Then it hits her.

The hair is different, and she seems much younger, but that was definitely the girl from the dream. The one with the ruined city. Of all the dreams she experienced in her time in the Dream World, that one was one of the most vivid.

What did she say her name was? Did she say her name? Fumbling for it, Elly instead waves, smiling a bit.]

[ Hm? Who was that waving in her general direction? Usagi's attention finally zooms in on that subtle movement and when she spots Elly her eyes widen in recognition. This was the woman she met when she wasn't herself in a place that sent cold chills down her spine every time she thought about it.

Usagi takes a deep breath to will that bloody scenery away from her mind. This isn't the past. This is the now. This is *reality* and Usagi wasn't going to let that ruin her night and a new friendship.

So, she waves back and inches closer until she's in an acceptable-ish socializing distance from the other. She could do this. Usagi could still do normal. ]

It's nice to see you! ..... you know, not in that dream world place. [ . . . . . well, it's a start, at least. ]

[Oh you poor awkward thing, that was still on your mind and you didn't want to say it, wasn't it?]

I should have figured someone like you would be at an event like this.

[Elly do you even know what you're saying right now? Do you know who you're talking to?]

Really? You think so?

[ Usagi just sort of blinks, confused as to why anyone would think that of someone like her, but then she glances down at her current attire and just how glamorous she actually looks, and then blushes. ]

I don't normally go to these kinds of things! It's usually too high class for a regular girl like me.

Really? I would have thought for sure...

[She definitely looked the part. Oh well, she was a bit young, so maybe that had something to do with it. Elly smiles.]

Are you having fun at least?

Thought what...?

[ The other her did look much more higher class than she did on a regular basis.. at least from what little she remembers of looking at herself. ]

I am! I'm having lots of fun. What about you?

Oh, nothing. Don't mind me.

It's a bit different from what I'm used to. I just moved here recently, so it's interesting to watch people mingle and have fun.

Really? I mean, I suppose that it'd be different if you were from somewhere else where socializing was treated differently...

[ If Usagi had Espurr ears, they'd be perked up and definitely focused on Elly. ]

So, then Where did you move from?

The general idea is the same--people get together and eat, drink and socialize. But if I had to describe it... [She pauses.] It's a lot more laid-back here.

I'm from a place near Caldera.

Oh! I was in Caldera a few months back! I went with a group of other people to help make a pokemon habitat over there!

[ Ah, the desert heat. Usagi did not miss that whatsoever. ]

It was a lot of work, but it was really fun!

Oh? That's good to hear. What did you think of the city?

Really hot and dry.

[ Princess Obvious, this one. ]

But, it's so much different than Union! It might be warming, but, it's kind of got its own little charm to it!

It's not as bad in the winter. It's actually really nice just outside of the city--it's not too warm, but it's not too cold either.
