[Nozomi comes on over the feed, wearing an interesting hat, her hair tied in a braid to the side instead of her usual pigtails.]

Hi everyone! I know Soulfasting is still a month away, but I wanted to let everyone know that we're selling decorations and masks at my shop, Etteilla. If you want a special order, you'll need to make it pretty soon, otherwise we won't have time to make them.

[Etteilla, nestled in the middle of Ninetails Vale on a busy street corner, is particularly busy today. One of the big places to go for Soulfasting supplies, Nozomi, along with Mithra the Nidoking and Coeus the Reuniclus, are busy at work. While the first two are selling their normal wares along with decorations, Coeus seems to be working on something else, an easel set near the cashier's desk. There are paintings near him, all with price tags. They range from people, to other pokemon, to landscapes, and while they are certainly amateur works, they're not bad. He seems very proud of them, at least.]

[It was late, and Nozomi was restless. Something had been on her mind lately. After sharing a vision with Rei Hino, she found she couldn't stop thinking about it.

Seeing herself perform on stage, standing with others, it seemed more than a bit out of character for her. But despite this, she got the feeling that she was enjoying herself. There was a warmth that she hadn't felt before, something that was hard to place.

What was the purpose of that vision? Who were the others standing with her, dancing with her? She felt that most of them were familiar to her, if not close.

Her cards were being difficult. They always were when she was on the brink of a breakthrough. Leaning over the array of cards, her mug of coffee steaming not too far away, Nozomi sighed heavily. She should go to bed, but this was going to bother her in her dreams if she didn't get it figured out.]


[Voice; to Maya]

[Sometime between 2 and 3 in the morning, a voice transmission comes in over her warp band. Nozomi sounds surprisingly quiet, her voice a little less confident than usual.]

Mayocchi? Are you around?

[She saw the video and happily starts to trot down towards the store, eager to see what they have in it. The door opens, revealing a very curious Honoka, walking inside and gaping at all the neat stuff.]

Waaaaah?! This store is amazing! Look at that! And that!

[She says this to herself, but really loudly.]

[Oh, it's the puppy girl from a few days ago. The meat bun girl. What was her name again? Honoka? That sounded right.]

Welcome! Can I help you find something?

[honokairo]

Can you tell me what this is? [She walks over to and points to this really beautiful crystal display. There's a gorgeous crystal pendulum inside.]

That? It's a crystal pendulum. It's supposed to help with hypnosis and insomnia.

[honokairo]

So, if I take it out and wave it in front of you, you'll fall asleep?

[That's totally how that works, right?]

There's a bit more to it than that.

[honokairo]

Like what? [Maybe if she says a few cool, incantation-like words, it'll work.

Maybe she has to become a witch for that to work. She's not so sure if she wants to do that.]

Incantations, inherent psychic ability and Hypnosis to start.

Oh.... [That probably means she can't do it then, doesn't it.]

I could learn to do those things though, couldn't I? [Exceeeept for the 'inherent psychic ability' but there's ways around that, right?]

A few maybe, but not everything. I don't think you have the right typing to master everything.

[Sorry Honoka, she doesn't want to exclude, but you're a little... dumb ill-suited for the psychic thing.]

[Yeah, that's a big roadblock and she knows it. She's nothing special- Enlightened can do things like that, not her, unfortunately. Don't worry, it's not like she hasn't tried though.]

Well, it would be pretty to hang up in my house, at least. Or maybe I could fashion it into a necklace.

I heard you are doing fortune telling too! Is that true?

I do. Do you want your fortune told?

Yes, please!

[She looks so excited too!]

It'll have to wait until things die down around here, is that okay?

[honokairo]

[She really wanted her fortune told, but she nods. She can wait.]

How long will it be until you're not as busy?

[future_sight]

Well, we usually die down after the lunch rush, so maybe twenty minutes?

[You can keep yourself entertained for that long, right Honoka?]

Sure! I'll go look around the shop for a bit then!

[She can maybe she'll break something on accident]

I'll come find you when I'm ready.

[You break it you bought it, Honoka. Care.]

Okay! [She's just going to wander off and look at all the OTHER REALLY COOL STUFF in the shop. She'll be looking at different kinds of tarot cards when Nozomi finds her again.]

Yes! These cards are really pretty, but I don't understand the pictures....

They're tarot cards. People use them to tell the future.

But how can a bunch of cards do that? Oh! Is it because someone hides the curtain and whispers which cards to choose?
