[Behold the exhausted but freshly-scrubbed face of one Garrett Hawke, come to introduce himself to the network with a very important question (to him).]

Has anyone heard of a village named Rhododendron? No one at the Medical Center has heard of it, but they suggested I try asking on the network.

It's where I'm from, and I'd like to go back, but I'm not sure where it is from here. So any information at all would be great.

[He hesitates very briefly, then flashes a charming smile.]

Interesting, or unbelievable? I don't think I'll be getting back in the same way.

I can't say I've ever met a Charizard or a Grimer, so I'm not sure. What are they like?

Well, the Grimer were very unpleasant, and not just because they smelled like a godawful combination of rot and dirty socks. They were upset that we were trespassing, but they also wouldn't let us leave.

Charizard was much nicer, and also helpful.

[Shrug]

Sounds like you had some trouble out there. [a beat.] ...Do you need any help?

[Hey, you asked what they were like. He just told you!]

[He looks surprised at the offer.]

Hawke shrugs]

I don't have anywhere else to be.

[Aaaand, as promised, it's only five minutes before he shows up, looking around the lobby for confused bearded people. Where are you, person?]

[Confused bearded person is seated out of the way, lotus-style on a comfy waiting room couch with a sleeping Houndour in his lap.]

[Oh, hey there, confused bearded person. Anders will walk up to him, take a look at the sleeping Houndour, and decide to keep his voice low.]

Hello. We just talked?

[Hawke looks up at the address, a little surprised, then smiles.]

Hello. You move fast.

I really do live right nearby, over there.

[He turns slightly to point with a hand, though it obviously can't be seen from here.]

...And I realise I never even asked your name. I'm Anders.

[There's plenty of space next to him on the couch. Or there's an armchair over there, if he prefers.]

[He hesitates, then sits on the couch, turned slightly sideways towards him but leaving some space between them.

And there's another pause, because truthfully he wants to bombard the stranger with questions, but that seems a bit rude. The man must be utterly lost.]

How long have you been here?

[He leans back against the couch, almost absently dropping his left hand to the top of Sergeant's head, which is currently pillowed by his knee. The little Houndour sighs heavily in his sleep, but doesn't wake up.]

Less than a day. He was poisoned, and I didn't have an Antidote. Getting here is kind of a blur. I feel like I'm just now catching up.

You should always have an antidote with you.

[Says the guy who's never explored outside the city gates.]

No wonder you're lost, though. Do you even have any money?

[Wow, ser, are you insinuating that he's irresponsible? Rude!]

I always do, but I lost all of my possessions in the storm.

Except my wallet. That's still at home. Wherever that is.

It's... most likely pretty far away.
