[These past few weeks, Eve has been training, and training hard. And it's finally paid off. When she appears on the video feed, she looks several years older than she did before, not to mention looking more confident. She may still not have a complete grasp on emotions, but that took a seat behind her newfound strength.]

This...is this evolution? I feel stronger. Much stronger.

[She pauses for a moment, thinking of what she should say next.]

I need to test my strength. I require a partner with enough power to rival my own.

[She'd be very pleased if there aren't any, but if there are, they would make an excellent test to prove her strength to herself. To see if this is truly the height of what she can achieve.]

Uh. Not that she can talk, because she is falling back to her butt so that she can heal better ]

[Hey, whatever works. Luckily, it doesn't take long to pull it back into place. Then Eve's breathing begins returning to normal.]

You appear to be exhausted.

Well, I gotta lot to Recover. Takes a lot outa of a girl.

Are you finished, then?

Good enough to walk. I'm not gonna be 100% for an hour or three and a meal from now.

[ She did get off her feet though, so she might speed it up. It just feels better to relax a bit for it ]

[There's just this...vaguely disappointed expression on Eve's face.]

I see.

I will continue training.

Yeah? Well, don't wait on my my part. I wanted to test me out too.

[ And she waves her hand dismissively ]

I don't plan on it.

[Aside from these...tests, Eve trains alone. She really is relentless in her pursuit of becoming stronger.]

[ Well, okay then. Exhale... inhale. And she makes to get to her feet again. Might as well get in the walls. No need to expose herself when she's wounded like this ]
