Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

It's not dirt, it's sand. Beautiful white coral sand. It's like clean dirt! Fig, of course, does not answer Levi because what is talking. What are words!! But he recognizes the name "Eren" and peeps happily. Then he turns his attention back to Shell because PLAY!! Fig misses the ball at first, watching as it rolls into his little dugout in the sand. Then he vibrates and puffs up, telekinetically lifting the ball to toss it again.

{Oh, I'm a GREAT swimmer. But surfing is different than swimming. It's all about balance.} He thinks, anyway. He's working completely off a book he "read" (looked at pictures in). And no, they usually don't. But Lombre are usually freshwater pokémon, and Victor didn't want the salt water stinging his eyes.

Levi reaches in to scritch the feathers on Fig's neck, watching as Shell scuttles in next to Fig and catches the ball in one tentacle. He then starts to hit the keys of the baby piano curiously with his other tentacles, jumping a little at the noise.

{I never ever heard of surfing before,} Bug admits, wiggling excitedly. {Can I watch?}

Fig trills happily, leaning into Levi's hand. He doesn't know what to do with all this attention!! How is he going to choose who to pay attention to? Shell playing with his awesome piano toy seems to win, though. He chirps excitedly when Shell discovers the sound. He whaps the piano with his big stupid bird feet, making more different noises. Isn't it great, new friend?!

{I only heard of it recently. But it seemed really cool. So I knew I had to try it} He gives Bug a nod, {Well of course. I don't know if I'll get it on the first try, though}

Shell is super excited about the piano noises! He continues plonking at the keys and Levi rolls his eyes, hoping the noise doesn't give him a headache as he sat back in the sand.

{I don't think I could do it,} Bug was saying. {You probably need feet, right?}

Oh it will give you a headache, heikrow. There's a reason Eren isn't around at the moment, and a reason this is a "special, outside toy". Fig happily adds to the noise by picking up an oversized, colorful maraca in his beak and flailing. Not even just his head, just... his whole body.

{Well, they're helpful. But as long as you can grip the wood, I think it'd work!}

"Woah, steady there assbutt," Levi snorts, reaching in to balance Fig as he convulses with he maraca. "Shell, don't encourage this." Shell responds by banging harder on the piano keys.

Bug looks unsure. "I don't know how to swim though..." But... if he fell and couldn't get out the water, Victor would surely save him! Again! Valiantly..... It was a difficult choice to make.

His convulsing is much more functional when Levi steadies his body, leaving his head and neck to do all the wiggling. With no rhythm. At all. Which sounds great along with Shell's terrible piano playing. Really it's just a hideous beach cacophony.

{Well, I wouldn't let your drown, you know! But if you'd prefer to just watch, that's fine too. I'm going to try it out.} Victor stands up and grabs the board under his arm. He heads out into the water, floating on the board and using his long arms to swim out past the breaking waves.
