Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

*Clearly it's a friend, because everyone is a friend you don't know until they turn out to be mean.*

*So of course she doesn't hesitate to follow those tracks.*

[The brush becomes thick as she travels deeper, you're in tall grass now. Pokemon lurk in tall grass, didn't your mother warn you?

This turf is thick and hard to maneuver in, the pokemon you're bound to come across has made large dents into this thick brush -- It's size is grand in comparison. The tracks are no longer visible but the pokemon has made it easy to follow, you're heading toward a group of odd looking trees.]

*Immy's nobleborn, she shouldn't be outside of the city? Where would you find tall grass in the city?*

Cooooool.

*Imogen almost wished she had her sketchpad, these trees are totally different from the stuff in the city. She's still keeping an eye out for the pokemon that left these tracks, but she's definitely going to keep toward those trees.*

[Turns out, after closer inspection, they are banana trees!

All around her there are tones and tones of banana trees, but more importunately the tracks are ending. In fact, the brush is completely normal here, whatever Pokemon you're bound to meet enjoys the tastes of bananas.

Humm they are around here somewhere, but where?]

Cool! Fruit.

*Imogen glances around trying to find the right way up to them. She wonders if they make a good pie! Pie is amazing, and fresh fruit would be great for it!*

*She'll just... try to climb up and get some. Nobody will mind right?*

[Pokemon come in all shapes, forums, and personalities.. This particular pokemon found Imogen to be a rather odd looking Tropius. Yes, it's true, this Tropius has no idea that Imogen wasn't a Pokmeon. Maybe some sort of fur-less Aipom? Whatever she may be the young Pokemon wasn't about to let her continue struggling.. leaning over from behind one to the tress and pulling the beaches down to her level.]

*Imogen hops away from the tree with a small polite curtsy, then takes three of the bananas from the top of the tree.*

It's really alright? I don't want to take anything that's yours.

[The Tropius seems almost chivalrous in this reply, no need far lady for they can simply gather their own -- long neck reaching out to feast upon some as the tree is nicely put back in it's rightful position.]

*Imogen curled up by the tree with the three bananas, she peeled one... and then the next. Then whistled out to the shadows before she started nibbling on one of them and held the other out... for Brighteyes, her Umbreon, who had been skulking around the shadows.*

This island is beautiful. You're very lucky to live here!

*Imogen figured she should make with the small talk, the Tropius did help her with food, and was being very nice to her.*

[The creature simply sat next to her, eating his fill as well. Such a laid back pokemon, or so it seems.

Humans, they have never seen one before but despite what has been told this one was nothing but kind. Tropius found her company well meet.]

What else do you do around here? I mean... I've played on the beach, wandered around, eaten some banana.

*Which she is super thankful for.*

But is there other stuff here!? Anything I should see, what spot is the prettiest?

[The pokemon is a little wary at first, anyone deal with humans would be. With their history you have to be careful. However, this one doesn't seem evil, nor manipulative, out for capture..

But life is all about risks, including those that involve humans. The Tropius gestures for her to climb on their back -- they'd like to show you their world as well as explore your own.
