Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

*Imogen walked up as quietly as possible and took a seat next to the boy with the spikey spike hair. Idly wondering how his hair would look all waterlogged and if it would cover his face like a untrimmed Froufrou. Until she was close enough to see he was looking just a bit... drained? Something, he didn't look happy.*

Generally people are better for frowny faces than empty places are.

*Imogen was looking for an empty spot, but mostly she was scouting locations to come back here at night. Out of the way places, without thee towers and on a cloudless night she could moonbathe... She likes the sun enough, and it's warm rays, but she loves the moonlight. She's a dark type, it's her thing.*

[Actually he'd look like a normal human being with normal hair. So weird. But he'll get shaken out of his thoughts when she speaks up]

- Oh! Imogen, hi.

I didn't hear you walk up.

*Totally the weirdest.*

You know, just because the sun is out doesn't mean Dark types aren't sneaky.

So... why are you out here on your own? Afraid you'll walk into people again?

Huh? You're a dark type?

[SHE SEEMED SO BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL- okay not that he really knows that many dark types but still!]

Heh heh- maybe. [Jokingly] Or maybe I was worried how bad I'd look in a swimsuit.

Yup! I gotta wear these, it's too bright out.

*Imogen tapped a finger on her glasses, dark lenses as opposed to her usual glasses.*

And I'm sure you look fine in a swimsuit. Well, so long as it's a nice looking suit. One of the ones that actually feels good to swim in. Like mine!

Oh. That kinda stinks.

[THE SUN IS AWESOME. Then again he's kinda used to tropical beach sun. And he just rubs the side of his head at that compliment]

Uh...thanks. [CHANGING THE SUBJECT] Have you been having fun out here?

*She shrugs.* I see in the dark. It isn't my favorite thing that strong sunlight hurts so much, but I'm used to it.

*Imogen is powered by night time, so she's not terribly sad about it all. Also she's always amused her words make people a bit uneasy. They just have to get used to such things!*

So far! Brand new place, new things to see, what more could I ask! And I got to go shopping for new swimwear! Only problem is some people don't like what I'm wearing, too immodest.

I see...seeing in the dark would be pretty cool too.

[But girls talking to him like that is weird! Or, even noticing him if it isn't Kairi.]

Uh, really? [He glances, and wow. That IS a lot of skin jeez. He looks away] W-Well, whatever right? Just...wear what you want!

It helps me with my work as a delver.

*Suck it up, Imogen notices everyone. Hahaha, you just noticed Imogen is kinda showing a lot of skin? You sweet summer child.*

That's how I view the world, I always wear what I want. But this time my wearing something so showy makes sense. It's the most practical swimwear I've found. Most swimwear covers everything but gets very heavy and uncomfortable after swimming.

Oh really? I never really thought about the weight of clothes after swimming...

[He's so used to swimming in whatever he's got on, he really doesn't think twice about it]

Cloth soaks a lot of water up, which makes it take longer to dry. Skin doesn't soak nearly as much up, and dries a lot faster. It's really much better to swim naked, but until then this kinda material is the next best thing. It dries super fast!

*That's horrible for your clothes Sora, you really shouldn't do that. Just because they were too lazy to render you in a swimsuit...*
