Who: Everyone!
Where: The newly discovered island
What: After recent events, the people of Union could use a bit of R&R. What better place than a tropical island?
Warnings: Drinks with little umbrellas in them, swimsuits, idek

An island paradise, discovered just off the southern coast, less than a day's travel from the city. A strong enough Pokemon could easily carry their partner and others out there. It was hard to say just who sent the original message, but pictures surfaced, with the tagline "Don't you wish you were here," came over the warp bands' feeds, and, like Venomoths to the flame, people began clamoring toward this new found tropical get-away. Those who wanted to go would find it easy enough--with so many people making their way to investigate, for whatever reason they claimed (but let's be honest, it was probably the beach), one could just hitch a ride.

The island itself appeared untouched by human contact. The Pokemon were strange and different compared to the fare immediately around Union. A warm breeze blew through palm trees, carrying the scent of hibiscus flowers. The water, blue as the summer sky, was warm and inviting.

This truly was a paradise.

Cress blushes, rubbing the back of his neck, "Ahah.. Yes I am. I'm hoping to give Union a nice helping hand in justice.. I mean, I've always been a follower and this profession keeps me close to home so I can look after my mom. Her health hasn't been great.

What do you do for a living? You still in school?"

[He follows along. Even if Eren has a much longer stride than him in that form, Sora doesn't seem to have much trouble keeping up. He's used to this sort of terrain. He also may be keeping an eye out to make sure Eren doesn't accidentally step on a tentacool while he's walking in the surf]

[To watch, he goes near a slightly smaller rock formation and climbs up with relative ease. He watches in awe]

"Do for a living?" This baffles little rich kid. Does Cress mean like...work? For money? WHAAAAT? "Um. I'm...out of school. Right now. Ah, s-sorry about your mom." Is that an appropriate thing to say??? Sympathy is good, right??

"Exactly, who they belong with are probably already around them, they just won't see it without a little... help."

Imogen is so on to you, and Fai, and to be sure she'll be interrogating your partners later. Because the pokemon have got to know something. And Imogen can be more than a little convincing to help get them on board with her schemes.

"They were both so busy being stuck in that arrangement, that they probably completely missed the really good options around them. But, maybe now they might see a little better. And if not, there's always my brand of help."

*Oh, Imogen looks, and she enjoys what she sees. Ky can ignore how much she's studying exactly how many muscles she can count before the towel is in place. It'd be easier at night.*

Better? Now... didn't anyone tell you to test swim costumes at home before you come out in public.

*Says the nearly naked girl.*

"I'll trust my ears, if that's all the same." Talk talk talk, you heard so many things talking but so little of it mattered, and even less of it was true. Imogen would know, half the things she said were far more interesting than the reality attached. Except when handing out good advice, which was always flawless.

"Or... his ears, in this case," Imogen knew that reaction, that idea you've heard something but you don't know if your head isn't lying to you. Her eyes scanned the ground around but she didn't bother to look up. Not that she didn't think something was up there, it often was, but it'd be better not to give that away.

Imogen gave her attention to Bolt, while this is all Jason's show and she isn't coddling, a better translation of what's going on wouldn't hurt. She just had to remember she wasn't in charge here. Because if Jason's mom ever found out... well, she didn't want to think about that.

What else do you do around here? I mean... I've played on the beach, wandered around, eaten some banana.

Well, I am weak to sneak attacks...although you'd think it'd be the other way around for Psychics, wouldn't you...?

[Himiko shrugs. She's never had that problem.]

That'd be pretty awesome if I could. Maybe someday. [He's getting better everyday, especially since he'd been working hard with his growing Pokemon team lately. So, he's fairly optimistic about it being a possibility in the future.]

Really? That still sounds like it'd be pretty impressive to see though.

Mmm-hm! [Have the happiest little smile ever.] And so are you! It's so nice, I wish we could stay forever.

"Yes..." Which, to Hiroshi, is where the problem lay. Some of the residents of Union just didn't CARE enough about Pokemon. And that worries him.

He shakes his head. "I suppose we will simply have to be wary. Seems like a lot of things have changed drastically just in the last couple of months."

Ha! Right.

[She's actually looking genuinely remorseful, for what it's worth. Eating sand is gross, she knows that well enough.]

...You want me to rub them for you instead?

[Still waving those tentacles.]

"I wish they wouldn't. I wish..."

Armin trails off, then shakes his head firmly. No use wishing things. Another pat for Spur, and he stands to brush sand off his pants. "Have you explored the island at all?"

Hiroshi understands what he means, in a way. But you can't avoid change sometimes. No matter how hard you may wish otherwise.

Spur clinks happily at the pat. Hiroshi looks at Armin. "Not yet, no. Have you?" he asked, looking around.

[The pokemon is a little wary at first, anyone deal with humans would be. With their history you have to be careful. However, this one doesn't seem evil, nor manipulative, out for capture..

But life is all about risks, including those that involve humans. The Tropius gestures for her to climb on their back -- they'd like to show you their world as well as explore your own.

Congratulations! You bonded with a level 23 Tropius.]

Hum? Cress doesn't really get it but ah.. sure. "She's been doing better, thanks." He looks down this his ruined volleyball, "Hey, do you know how to play? Wanna play a round?" He'll find a way to fix it, his mom packed him all sorts of 'in case of emergence' whatnot's and he's pretty sure someone around here has a air-pump.

[Above them, curling it's tail in the palm tress was a monkey like Pokemon. It's color so green it was hard to tell what it was at first. It's large ears and big round eyes give it more shape.

A Pansage appears, swaying back and forth as it sits on the branch.] Pansage! [The look it gives is almost devilish, it's plotting something.]

[She looks over at him, sensing how deeply important the promise is. He's definitely matured, and not just physically. She flushes a little, but smiles anyway, and lays a hand over his.]

Let's look together. I... ['I don't want to lose you again.'] I want to see everything, too.

Ah... a monkey? [Eren pauses, staying still but still supporting Chester so the little pokémon can work. He blinks and speaks to the pokémon]

{Hey, I know you're trying to help, but can you wait until we get back to the beach? It's dangerous for us to stay in the jungle. I don't want those weird tree guys coming back.}
