Hey everybody! It's time for the Weekly Update With Yang Xiao Long, the best hostess EVER!

[Yes, it's that time again. Yang appears on the screen, jumping into the video feed and throwing her arms out wide. Her Misdreavus and Eevee are snooping behind her, curiously, but staying out of the production otherwise. Yang grins, then raises one finger, leaning towards the broadcast.]

I promised last time to give you a life saving tip about not slipping and falling to your death on icy walking bridges! So, get ready...

[Yang grins.]

...use the handrails!

[She nods.]

A-a-a-a-anyways, so like, this week Union's had some honored guests named Team Evolution. We're gonna call them TeVo for short. TeVo's been really nice, except for the whole misunderstanding with machines that kind of made earthquakes that kiiiind of could kill us all. And there's a tournament going on, to show them what we can do and make amends!

While the Council talks about giving them earthquake-causing machines back. Yeah.

[She shrugs.]

The tournament's going! Yours truly was knocked out, but our show endorses Feliks SHUT UP MILLER, I KNOW HE HAS A LAST NAME! [the last is addressed at her Eevee, who sighs] because he beat me and I'm not gonna be shamed by losing to someone who doesn't win! So go get them, Feliks! Show these guys who's boss!

Next week we have a special guest star so special that I don't know who it is yet!

[At about that moment, another Eevee wanders onto Lucas's shoulder and perks up at the sight of Miller. Avey will give an Eevee wave and bat its paw about a bit.]

But... That's not even real advice......

I think you should always make sure you have a Ground-type or a Rock-type to throw up dirt. Sand-attack and Mud-slap should do the same things, too. Some people try and melt ice with Fire-types, and then they burn themselves - we see some of those in the Medical Center sometimes.

Oh... yeah, you shouldn't do that. I once cracked some rock when I did it with a Fire-type ability, too, eheh.

[She grins, then she tilts her head. Miller just shakes his head, standing behind her.]

The dirt's a good idea! That's useful advice!

Mm-hmm. It's just because people slip and hurt themselves a lot.

[The boy pauses.]

Um.

Are there really a lot of icy bridges over giant pits out there, though?

[ember_celica]

Nah, not really. Some of the poorer towers have icy bridges, like if they're not close to something that makes heat. But it'll get warmer soon.

[a_gentle_boy]

Oh.

...Gosh! You must warn about a lot of things if you're on falling off icy bridges to your death. That's really nice of you...

I've never heard your announcements before, but I'll try to pay more attention now.

[He sounds 100% serious here.]

It's only the second episode of The Yang Show, so it's okay. It's practically brand new. I'm always happy to have a new fan!

[Even if that's... not what he was talking about at all...]

The... Yang Show?

[It takes a while for this to sink in.]

O-Oh! Are you... a celebrity, too, then? You put on shows for people? I made friends with people who work in a theater, but I didn't know there were so many celebrities in the city...

[A slight gasp.]

But that's right! They could put on shows now and everyone in the city would see them through these! I never thought of that before!

[ember_celica]

I'm not a celebrity right now, but... maybe someday! But I've got a show. Why not, you know? These things are handy for broadcasting stuff and the people gotta have their entertainment!

[She nods her head.]

That's a good idea, with the theater. You should tell them that!

It would still be better to see it in person, but... maybe I'll see if they're interested.

What else can you put on a show?

Like anything! Anything ever.

[She grins.]

My show is still the most awesome, though. It's got insightful commentary and entertaining discourse. Or something.

...Do you think they could make a show out of what happens in the Breeding Center with baby Pokemon?

Right. People were really concerned before about taking care of their eggs properly, so... it might help to have some sort of informational session.
