[Oh look, it's everyone's favorite earnest, well-meaning, kind-to-all-living-creatures blond kiddo, just chilling in the park with his Pokemon buddies...

...including the absolutely enormous Steelix who's dozing and giving out gravelly snores. In fact, Armin and his little Pokemon friends -- including Nim the Mareep baby and the just-recently-hatched Espurr baby who insists on being held at all moments -- are sitting on top of Gertrude-the-Steelix's head. So anyone trying to approach...best tread lightly.

Ah, yes, same with most of mine. [Sleeping Steelix excluded, but Gertrude does what she wants and what she wants is to nap, not tournament.]

A project? Really? Is it classified?

Oh... no, it's not classified. I'm trying to figure out a way to store data on the Warp Band.

I noticed a lot of people not knowing what their hatched Pokemon were. If a device could be created that stores all known Pokemon information on it and be put onto the Warp Band... be it an egg hatching or a random Pokemon encounter, the person will know what type it is. It would be useful in a dangerous situation as well.

Like...a sort of portable dictionary of Pokemon, inside the Warp Band?

Exactly! Wouldn't it be convenient?

It'd be wonderful! It would make exploration and new discoveries so much more efficient!

That was my thought entirely. I'd really like to make progress on it soon.

Well... I'm hoping to get some help on it, if people are willing...

...well, if you finish it first, then there's no way it can be taken away from you! You just need to keep it secret.

That was my idea... but I still need help.

I. Don't really know much about it, but, um. I-I can help? Maybe? I-If you need...it?

I know plenty about technology to handle that part of it, I just know I can't do the data collection myself.

[Have some sudden enthusiastic, wide-eyed gasping.]

Data collection?? Like field notes and all that?

Exactly... and once I could collect enough data, it'd be programmed onto the Warp Band. Then, when encountering a Pokemon already "discovered" by the Warp Band's data, a trainer could know what it was and what sort of Pokemon they needed to fight against it if it got dangerous.

I-I'd love to have a chance to contribute! Especially to such an important device!
