Invasion: Start
The morning after the meteor shower, things start as they always do. Union’s gearing up for another day: people going to work, shops opening, kids heading to school, and foremen getting their crews to work on the last of the damage left by Kyurem’s rampage through the city. It’s just an ordinary day, with only a passing thought given to yesterday’s odd occurrences by anyone outside the scientific and psychic communities. There’s some very real theories floating around there, but there’s little real chance at anything solid coming from the discourse. At least, until reports start coming up Route 1 from the single port started by one Union entrepreneur two years ago. It’d grown quickly with Gigan help, seaborne trade flowing up the lone road, and now it was completely overrun.
Panicked sailors and land crew come streaming up the way, nursing hundreds and hundreds of Bug-type induced injuries. Beedrill stings, Spinarak bites, and photographs of several enormous members of a new species that’d yet to be recorded quickly circulate and prompt Council response. Whatever these things are, they’re clearly hostile and the risk of damage to the city itself seems likely given how quickly the port had been overwhelmed.
With the city still shaken by Kyurem’s attack, the Council wasted no time. The call to arms was put out and trainers hastily sent out to deal with the sudden intrusion. Anyone willing and able to fight was asked to head down the road as quickly as possible, with the intent of sorting this out and either diverting the tide or stopping the invasion cold. The road itself is deserted, abandoned wagons left in a hurry, and not a single wild Pokemon can be heard for miles. It’s almost like they were aware something big was coming, and even the more aggressive types clearly opted to clear out.
When it comes into view, the port itself seems to be in particularly bad shape. Smoke rises up into the horizon, and hundreds and hundreds of Bug types swarm all over the structures, chewing away at the wood and stone. But perhaps the most troublesome sight is the beings that are overseeing the attack. Several members of the new species, fifteen feet tall at minimum, twenty at the peak, direct the swarm in its efforts. And further out to sea, a singularly massive specimen, some forty feet tall, watches it all, hunched forward, dark eyes gleaming with interest as its minions go to work…

The Kaiser is still trying to wrap his brain around the idea of himself - HIMSELF! - being ineffectual when the Screech sends Gyarados flailing through the air and he finds himself having to hang on with String Shot to keep from falling. "Idiot!" he howls over the din, despite his own headache. "Can't you do anyth---"
And here comes the Bug Buzz. The Kaiser cuts the String Shot and drops to the ground, abandoning the Gyarados to get hit with the blast. Ralts is waiting for him on the ground, hurrying to see if he's all right but keeping its distance. Venipede is not so smart and gets a shoe to the midsection for its troubles.
"How dare you," he seethes, looking up with all the ferocious majesty a despot of his stature and capabilities has at their command (none). He can turn this around, though! He can! As soon as his ears stop ringing!
Any minute now!

Litwick once again reacts to the stat-reducing offenses with a hopefully well-timed Haze that seeps around the vicinity. Arachne meanwhile grits her teeth and pulls herself back up onto the platform she had been holding on to. In the midst of this mess she hadn't been keeping an eye on the little Kaiser. Just barely she catches sight of him on the ground. Good. Not dead at least. Certainly still loud enough.

And damn did it hurt. It was obvious this thing was extremely strong to begin with, but its roaring cry and sheer anger was enough to tear at him, sap his strength, and cloud his mind with its unintelligible ravings. The Enlightened staggered back, and felt like he could barely stand through that... and though the Genesect fell to its knees, it still... wasn't... stopping.
Andy wasn't fairing any better nearby, having suffered through a potent attack already. And Beowulf couldn't get close enough to attack without putting itself at serious risk.
The Calderan staggered forward toward the Genesect, barely able to push through all the Outrage and anger. Standing fast in front of the creature, he looked it right in the eye.
"Hey. You're done. Cut it out."
If it doesn't stop Outraging or otherwise tries anything aggressive, it'll earn itself a Mega Kick. Adell didn't want to hurt it more than need be, and using a non-Fire typed attack might be a way to do it... if necessary. He hoped it would just stop if given the chance.
sorry for delay, RL happened
The final, mighty blow hits. Rose yelps as she gets thrown backward -- and then she hits the ground. She doesn't stop; she skids across the ground, beaten but not broken, and her eyes turn towards Adell. She shakes her head, before she rushes in. She shoots along Adell's side as she runs.
Then, she leaps. Several knives fly -- she throws them ahead of her -- and she comes down with a shadowy, Dark-type short sword. She swings it down, trying to stab it at the Genesect.

The Pokémon Kaiser manages to bark this order to his Ralts without collapsing to his knees the way he wants to. He's been tossed around and battered entirely too much for his liking, and his mask is beginning to slide down his face in what in a lesser human might be mistaken for a nervous, pained sweat.
He fumbles to adjust it as Ralts opens fire. This will do it, right? This will ensure he trounces the beast. And the glory...as it should...will go to him.
Any other outcome is unthinkable.

"Quickly, go use shadow ball." If the Kaiser was instructing his Pokemon to use an attack like that, the least his shadow "big sister" could do was quietly instruct her Litwick to slip in there with a sneaky, lesser noticed attack that would make his more potent in the long run. And try to keep her position, as perilous as that was becoming.
Gabite stumbles as it some of the outrage's damage, being right in front, though buries itself underground again to try and get away from the effects of the immediate rampage.

The threat seems contained for now, the rest of the battle...well...you can only hope others have the same success.
